*sigh* lol Well i disagree with alot of what you said. And your opinion is biast as you don't take A LOT into consideration. Mostly the graphics. A high end PC can play CoD2 better and with better graphics than the 360. If you had a HDtv then the 360 would probably look the same, but performance wise, no. And refering to what you said about apds etc. . . .PCs can have Pads, Joysticks Wheels Etc, and Consoels cna have mouse and keyboard. As for sound, it depends on what sound system you have, and what Sound CArd to an extent. If you've got a cheap PC then your not allowed to moan about "my speakers r crap, and sound card isn;'t there", because you have to spend money to get the goods. Its not soemthign you can really debate really, as the programming of sound is essentially the same from Console and PC games, it jsut depends how much you spent on a sound system ( TV or PC) Well it msotly depends to what type of gamer u r and what games u play. Weither you try n get the msot out of a game, i.e MODS + expansions, Or are just happy with the Vanilla. I personally think that both have their advantages and disadvantages. This is how is ee it. Consoles [+] Cheap (compared to equivilent PC) [+] good for sport games, Adventure games, Driving Games, Fighting games, FPS +RPG i suppose, to an extent [+] Easy set up, Disk in and play. [+] Games made for the system so performance should be ok [+] Smaller (normally) [-] Modding scene nothing like it is on a pc [-] Fixed graphics and performance (no upgrades) [-] with all next Gen consoles being able to connect to net, maybe viruses will spread,a dn there would be no way of ridding it off your system. PCs [+] Great with FPS, RTS, RPG Adgventure. [+] MODS! + expansions [+] You can do so much more with a PC [+] You can always Upgrade [-] Installation + PC Load up time [-] Viruses Compromising performance possibly [-] Expensive to get a Top of the range PC /GPU/CPU etc [-] Performance is dtermined by your system. There all the points i could think of, I myself am an RTS + RPG player and occasionaly FPS, so my choice is obviosuly PC. You tend to apprechiate a PC mroe when you have spent the money and got a good gamming one or built your own. . .. not jsut *BLEEP*ing about how your Dell Inspirion 4200 Doesn't play games good.

Elder Scrolls : MorrowindIn mine and many others opinion's is the best RPG money can buy.Graphcis still look fresh, Huge possibilities of character choice and role-playing potential. I mean you can play anything from a stealthy thief, to a paladin, monk, or Mage. Its jsut got a huge replayability factor.I spent endless hours playing as a smooth talking thief but then went abck and played it as Knight with some amgical properties, and then a Necromancer (self made class), and for each differernt character the games changes. Where as i might have tlaked my way out of a fight using my first character, i might jsut go on and kick an NPC's **bottom** using a fighter character.I could litterly go on all day about it, but i won't as i don't want to be labeled a spammer but try it out if u like RPGs. You can get the game of the year pack now with both expansions off Amazon for ?9.00, which is amazing value!And Oblivion (the next enstallement) will be comming in 2006, which is looking AMAZING!

hello anyone whos been kind enough to view my thread This is Bassicly the Alternative Music Society homepage which is still Heavily a WIP. Its bassicly going to be a source of information on the alternative music scene of worcester and a general palce for any people with alternative music views to join and chat. It doesnt currently have a forum but i'm workign on that It's made with Joomla!, and the theme is one i foudn and HEAVILY modified, to the point that its not recogniseable. I've got to change the navigation and colours of some backgrounds etc, add the content sections properly and intergrate a forum. . . .possibly SMF. BUT i might change direction and install community builder and intergrate Joomla Board. Theres also a few graphical glitches. It doesn't validate, but i've got it to work fine in IE, FF and Opera. Its seems that Adobe has a somewhat monopoly in the creative digital media world I mean, its got the industry standard Graphics programs, (illustrator and Photosahop), the industry standard web design tool (Dreamweaver) and the industry standard aniamtion software (Flash). . . .and while it isn't the industry standard video editing software Director is still a very big player . . . curently the industry standard is Apple's Final Cut pro, . . . well.. . . . i suppsoie only good cna come of this . . . . . good product intergration i suppose

That truely is amazing. . . . I mean the fluid liquid visuals are astounding. The bit which really shocked me was when the shark's fin surfaced and the video showed the water splash and the water level raising aroudn the shark. 2/10The background of the site tiles in larger screen resolutions.the brown colours don't look very nice.The brown text blends into the abckground almsot and is difficult to read.the sky blue buttons and banner look so out of place.there are random lines next to the navigation buttonssorry, but if you want people to go to your site whren their bored then try and put more care into the design.I mean the layout is fine, jus change the graphics and text colour.

You know on some websites (well alot these days), have little custom graphics next to the WebAdress bar?. . .Not sure if it shows up ina ll browsers, but it defintly works in Opera as thats what im using at the moment.Xisto has one of these for example.Any help on how to change this/ add it would be very helpful.Thankx in advance

Just a note, Mambo CMS, is now Joomla! CMS : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ got renamed/ Re-branded.It abssicly carried on the last release of MAmbo, and added some fixes to it, and released it as Joomla! 1.0. So development now continues under that etc.The latest is 1.03. Its a an excellent CMS, with a huge community of support. Tons of themes, modules components etc. Truely excellent

I got here in 2004 some time (look below my avatar for exact date)and was hsoted within a week of that.I have loved the service and had no major porblems with Xisto's service.Quite a few times i havent been able to view sites etc, but thats due to reasons beyond Xisto's responsibility, so generally excellent service B)The forums are fine as well, except one time it would let me post anywhere, and i had 1 credit left lol
