does anyone here suffer from depression?if so, here is a thread to talk about experiences and how you personally deal with it. . . . i'm currently quite depressed and fed up.i'm home from university, a way a way from all the friends i have their.i've lsot touch with most my friends where i am now, and and am also suffering from a lack of self-confidence, which means i find it hard to even contact/ go out with what friend s ido have here, because i'm not that close to them.i need to find a job. . .have been seraching for 3 weeks with no effect, so im unemployed . . . As i have nothign to do, i find it hard to gain isnpiration to do anything creaitve, or basic motivation.. . . . and like i have throughout my life this causes me to judge my personailty and self . . . and focus on the negative. which in turn makes me feel worse.. . . . .i hate my mind.

Overall not bad :)10/10 outta ten for the Weeb+bob filler text lol,but seriously.i'm lookignforward to seeing it all coded and finished so i can review it,but at the moment its looking promising.i really like the header graphic, with the sweeping curves and angel winged-silohuete(sp?)get coding

my accoutn was suspended a couple days ago due to lack of credits. (been pre-occupied)but since then i've mounted enough credits to get it re-opened. (i did this when i realised it was suspended)but it still isn't Un-Suspended.normally it takes a few hours to correct itself, in past experiences.i just want to know if it can take longer,ORif its been suspended for any other reason thanks in advance

My question is, is the bandwidth limit flexibile?i.e can you upgrade your bandwith to a higher amount on any plan?and if so, what is the highest bandwidth limit you could offer? into the terrabytes?

Kudos to nintendo for beign differernt.Nintendo try to innovate the market, where as others just upgrade. For this reaosn alone they deserve to succeed.BUT, weither its comfortable to use after short/long time time periods will be upto the consumer when it's released. i believe you can use the gamecube controller with the wii aswell. (not sure why you would want to tho, it's horrible )hope it pays off for them though!

so does this offer dramaticly better cooling for the CPU?mine at the moment (due to being summer) tends to hit higher temps of 50-59 degrees pretty effortlessly.Would anyone who's ucrrently got one of these new fangled heatsinks tell me if it would be worth investing in one?i'm really not keen on upgrading to liquid cooling. . . . because i simply don't trust myself to do a good job lol.

wow, very nice At the moment though it doesn't have that many practical applications.. . . i mean, a montiro can show all that in much better quality.As the price of such technology comes down and its quality improves it might start becoming a feaseable aternative to displays of now. mmmm despite all the justification and sort of research, it still seems far fetched to me.Like has been said, the energy required to haul the weight up and down out of orbit would be emense :STaking in mind this elevator woyuld have to enough force to push past the earth's outter atmosphere.Plus like stated, the force to pull the weight agaisnt the earths atmosphere would be emmense.It's a very nice idea, but i personally think its along way off being realistic.just think though. . . .it that does end up being possible, you could take an elevator to a space station and then down to the moon lol

not exactly a revolutionary idea, and also not exactly executed very well.the graphics are ugly and of poor quality, and totally un-proffesional.To be honest, its a poor website, and offers nothing more than Java Applet chat room, most likely 3rd party.

well i opened it once, then it broke :Sand by that, it loaded fine, then when i clicked a link it wasnt found.then when i clsoed the site and clicked ur psot link again it wasnt found :S . . . puzzeling lolEither way, not a bad site :)proffesional looking style. i liked the 100% width image at the top of the page and the site title tab lowered from it, . . nice touch :)the overlaying heading image and tabs are clean and simple too, no complaints B)Its also nice how the site doesn't look like a normal joomla template/site (if you know what i mean).not quite sure what you mean by "loading" thing, as i didnt see anythi nwhen i first laoded it.the white transparency didn't really impress me either. I'm guessing that stays there utnill the page is laoded right? if so possibly make it alot less transparent, with a center image saying loading . . . well, its going to supposrt Direct X 10, so thats a reason to buy it/upgrade if your a gamer :)Also the game library will make gaming more organised . . . . If i get an extra gig of ram i might aswell upgrade. The GUI is more than that tho, it will have some added functionality.i'm not blown away by Vista, but not dissapointed either.

kudos! Did you submit at each of those 80 engines, or did you use one or a few sites which auto submit them to all? if so, the link please The sites not half bad either. Its clear and simple. Really not a fan of the header graphics and font, but thats just down to my tastes. what is http://www.articledashboard.com/ ? is it a CMS of some sorts? did you jsut add the content and customize the layout? good promoting, and good luck in the future

nice first effort :)not bad for two days worth of html and css!the naviagtion isn't centered for me tho (IE)and there seems to be a thin horrizontal line below it, which doesnt even stretch across the whole page.not sure if thats ment to be there.i would defintly recommend doign soemthign simpler than a photogallery. Get a php book and look at the thigns they do in their. Like a simple login, and news/content poster etc.but i would say, that using CMSs isn't cheating, their jsut there to make life easier for you. If you really want full controll, get a simple cms and customize that to your hearts desires.

well like, someone suggested, go into the CSS file, and try and change the BAckground settings for the head DIV (assumng there is one), then set somethign which will just tile acorss to fit the width and have ur own banner center, and blending into the tiled background. . . . . . orrrrrrr jus simpyl make it fixed width. . . . that'll Ax alot of your problems :)and you won't really need it to be variable width anyways, unless u plan to have a lot of content on one page at one time.up to you really.i would personally make it fixed width, and if u dnt know how, find another template :)if u need some resources, jus say and i'll post a few good sites here.good luck

Could you be any less modest . . . that aside. . . Graphics:Excellent textures and quality. Love the darkness aroudn the edges of the site, and all the differernt layers it builds up. Also the varrying graphics on each page fit very nicely and keepthe pages fresh.The loading bars are a really ncie touch too.Mood:Overall excellent. The music is really fitting n stuff for the over all war theme, not sure where you found it, but if you made it yourself, very well done! The graphics and moody music create a really good fitting feel to the site.Content:Good amount of content n such, but the Downlaods section stuff was missing what it promised, so minus on that sorry.Aniamation:I like the way you use the commo ntechnique of lots of basic motion tweens to build up the content on a page, very nice and effective with the sound fx.Sound:like i've already said the backgroudn music was very fitting,and the ability to turn it off was a great and much needed feature. Sound fx of the menus and naviagtion are also very good, and timed very well. Nothing unessary in my opinion.Overall. . . . 9/10 for a flash site+ Great aniamtion+ Great graphics+ Good loading times+ Nice music and sound fx+ good content- really not keen on the type in boxes which turn orange when u click on them. . . ruins the flow and style of the site in my opinion.- like i said, some content is not functionalwell done, really nice site hope to one day get as good as that at flash!

IE is the Majority almost everywhere. . . . the only place where it isn't is with sites where regular internet users go. . . . i.e *geeky* stuff like tech news, gaming, pcs etc (stereotyping a bit but its very true) . . . this is simply because people who know about firefox use it and downloaded it because they saw its advertisements in forums, specialised websites etc . . . So these type of sites get more fire fox viewers sometimes . . . but its still like 57% to FF 40% to IE and woteva % to rest. . . . off the interenet no one knows what firefox or any other browsers are it'll NEVER be as popular. . . . . untill microsoft loses its market power . . . and i don't see that happening anytime soon. If you want a good solution. . . . don't use front page. . . . it doesn't generate "friendly" code. dreamweaver, while not perfect, is much better. But your site is working fine for me now, so wel ldone o t hat. The layout is much improved too sicne the alst time i visted. maybe consider colours changes though.

largely depends what you use the pc for. . . .for example. . . simple word prcoessing, web browsing. . . not very often at all. . . . every 5/6 years if that. . .where as. . . for PC gamming. . . .get ya wallet out. . . as upgrades/new systems are needed every year and half or so . . and their prciey <_<and then theres also other system heavy applciations such as rendering for video and such. . which is VERY spec heavy, and upgrades will be needed every few years. . .normally jsut more ram or HD space.I bought my pc (custom costing ?1200 roughly) with the mind to be gaming and using it for numerous CAD applications such as graphics, Aniamtion and sound.Its fine for alot of things, and i'm perfectly happy with it, but will probably be upgrading the RAM from 1gig to 2gig soon, simpyl because i could do with a bit mroe system memory when working with larger sized files in photoshop n such.I think its bets to buy a pc which is easily upgradeable, and one which comes with a good processor.

depends really. . . . if you mean website as in HTML. . . or just text shared over the internet. . . in both cases the first would be a "site" to test out the new features etc. . . .so nothing commercial u see now a days is the first
