Don't tell me you bought them bought them because that is the worse thing you can do at such an early stage when buying parts and what not. You have to make sure all your parts will work together and what not, thats why they have a wish list and the best part when looking at parts such as the processor they will have compatible parts with it, and use your processor as a stepping stone and show you what would work best when starting with the processor. Just a reminder you usually want to start off with a motherboard and then build your way up that way. Computer Based on the processor As you can see this is more thought out, took about 2 hours worth of combining the right hardware, the price is a bit lower but as you can see this is a sweet set up and the power supply can handle this load without a problem. A bit expensive but still s a descent set up, and it is possible to reduce some of the stuff price wise to make it go under $1000. As you can see I didn't add a keyboard or mouse to it but those are rather cheap anyways so ad about another $50-$60 to it and thats what your overall price would be. So use this as an example and since you did purchase the power supply I would suggest starting with that and see what you can get for combo's along with the RAM as well, just make sure the motherboard and processor can fit them both without worrying about frying anything.

Well I just seen Beowulf and I have to say it was 100 times better then the Christopher Lambert version, still wondered why I got that movie. Anywoo if you ever read the story to Beowulf you know are several versions to the story, and from what I saw it seems like a part of the original and another version. It's hard to tell since its been years since I read the story although I think this version is like 95% original version from the studio who produced it because of some of the stuff that happen in this movie.I will state OMG on Angelina Jolie , they did a good job rendering her, although I think someone else did the voice but I didn't stay long enough for the credits to see if she voice it or not. What I found good about this movie is the fact it seems more realistic then any other version, as they used the pre-medieval Europe well in this movie. Interestingly enough they had quite a bit of comedy in it and you get to see it very well in this movie. As for the voice acting they quite a good job to the hit the rough and tough guy voices well, although I think they could have added more of tint of a Norwegian accent though I think it would have help just a bit. Regardless though the story was great as it was retold once again, and so here is my box office prediction for this movie.I would say that this movie will barely break the 100 Million Dollar mark since we are getting into the holiday season and its up against some tough competition and it seems CGI movies have lost some of its power in the box office recently but we should see what happens on Monday though. I am a bit shock that they are going to make a game for this franchise, the last time I saw ghostbusters besides having the dvd was the the extreme ghostbusters that lasted all but 2 seasons I think. Although I never heard of a 3rd until NOW WOOHOO!!! BOOO its CGI movie and not real which makes me think that the crew from extreme ghostbusters won't be in there. Usually when game comes out the movie usually will come before or after it, lets not forget this franchise disappeared for 10 years now, the last ghostbuster related episode appeared in 1997. At least the original cast will be voicing and writing the game, makes me wonder who the bad guy will be, sam hain (the pumpkin head ghost) would be a interesting guy to take on since he was a bad boy in the cartoon series. Although its early time I see a online mode for this but I doubt I will be getting the game since the console games were hard as hell.

Well last night I got a email from my favorite email provider, yahoo, and said yahoo 9.0 is out with a semi new look. However, thats where my problem begins in which I spent about an hour total with the yahoo crew trying to figure out why this problem is happening and using different trouble shooting idea's. It is also to note that this is my first beta software period that I have actually had a problem, so now my infamous record is tarnish with this little bug. --Issue-- During the second part of installation at around 35-38% I a get a 404 error I click abort and it tell me that ytb_inst.exe cannot open. Ok so I abort the installation because at the time messenger is install; however, part two of the problem comes into play and that is it disables the password function on the login screen, knowing well enough my password works because how I 100% memorized it. --Troubleshooting idea's to do-- uninstall yahoo messenger and then reinstall it-Error still uninstall delete yahoo folder and then reinstall-error still uninstall yahoo download link provided buy yahoo (mind you its the same link I been using already)-error still uninstall yahoo install yahoo 8.1 (stable version) then install 9.0 to override old version- Error still --Conclusion-- Installer is corrupted and yet somehow I am the only with this problem, mind you I tried this on two different computers and have reverted back to 8.1 which luckily enough still works. --Challenge-- I will provide the download to 9.0 and see if anyone else gets this error, if so make sure to report it or the next stable version will still have this problem. If successful let us know in this topic and see what is different mind you I tried this on XP and Vista and the error shows up. --Download link-- https://messenger.yahoo.com/ --Support-- http://ww2.islanddata.com/ --UPDATE #1-- Ok after reinstalling 8.1 I came up with the same error and it has to do with the toolbar that yahoo provides for the browsers, so all I did was not select the toolbar for installation I didn't get the error, however, now it seems that the password function is a problem within itself. So if anyways can get the password function to work let us know. --UPDATE #2-- It seems I have found another problem with 9.0 and that has to do with ysp_inst.exe, which is the program for the search protection tool, whatever that is. I notice that error when I had 8.1 installed and did not select the toolbar to be installed with 9.0, of course for this error to be fixed I had to delete the yahoo folder and then the error disappeared. However, the password problem still remains a mystery so hopefully this news will help figure out what could be wrong with the password problem.

Cannot Ftp Anymore All of a sudden, FTP went.
Saint_Michael replied to mrdee's topic in Computer Networks
Then I would disable the easyhide IP program and run your FTP off your real IP, although I don't think hding your IP shouldn't matter all that much since your connecting to the web host. However, maybe due to security reason it needs the IP address you signed up on your account in order to log in. I never heard of the Easy Hide program your using but I believe that is where your problem is at with this program. -
Again some linux users are missing the point though, not all just some, the only reason linux is great as a operating system is that Windows is the bigger target for hackers, crackers, phreakers, and phrackers. The major flaw for linux operating system is the open source software, and every knows that open source software can lead into big problems if the bad guys spent some time with the operating system and a few of the big name open source software and create the damage that is possible. I am surprise the european core of hackers and crackers have not spent the time going after linux users there because of the major use of open source there. It will be a matter of time before they start turning their eyes on linux, but of course for that to happen microsoft would have to go out of business in order to do that.

Well in that case if you were smart I would keep it friendly oversea's relationships are very hard to figure out and always lead into some trouble. I would stay local as online relationships never are what they seem and its obvious that the emails your getting that these woman are desperate or something else or the frequency of these messages would be lower. Also bots do send you email as a computer guy you should know that, they even send IM's and junk as well , of course you can tell if the messages are fake or not if all they talk about is sex, sex, and sex.So keep it friendly and try not to make it more then what the other side is looking for.

Cannot Ftp Anymore All of a sudden, FTP went.
Saint_Michael replied to mrdee's topic in Computer Networks
I would suggest doing a system restore to the last good setting your ftp was able to work, since nothing else comes to mind why your ftop software has been locked out. Of course you should check to make sure your ftp settings are correct for your account as that could be the other problem. Worse case scenario would be to uninstall the software and then reinstall it again and see what happens, but do hte system restore first and see if that helps out. -
You ,ay need to update the drivers so its compatible with the vista OS, I would suggest trying the CD ROM on another computer that can fit it and see if you get any problems with it. Of course usually it is a bad CD ROM drive as I have gone through two of them myself on my XP already. So what I suggest is to update drivers, try it out on another computer, if you can, and if it still don't work replace it. UPDATE: I came across this website, and I would suggest reading maineman, Jimbo, and signals posts about how to fix it, or rather where to look into since the CD ROM is different from yours. Of course it doesn't hurt to call compaq support about this error since they would have more information about this then anyone else does at the moment.

Odo that is called Myspace spam, I wouldn't doubt that those woman are myspace sexbots trying to get you click on there links, I get them all the time and all I do is click delete and what not to move. Best way to find out is send them a message through the email system and see if you get a response, if not its a bot and what not. Plus I wouldn't worry about trying to hook up through myspace because who knows what kind of whacko you could get yourself in those.

Here are some tips on how to pack your laptop safely and not having to worry about it getting damage while flying in a airplane if you do not have it as a carry-on and don't want it to get crushed under hundreds of other bags. There is a part 2 to this article I will have to wait till it comes out to add it to this topic. The next set of tips has to with keeping your computer safe when at an office or when your physically not attach to it. From what I scanned through the article itssome pretty basic stuff but we all know how arrogant we become when we think its not going to happen to me if I just leave for 5 minutes or leave it in my car for 10. Most of us know or read articles about government laptops getting stolen especially the ones with sensitive data so hopefully this small little reminder will get you thinking about making sure that laptop of yours is secured. It sounds like a memory issue with windows explorer somewhere, what I suggest is open up the task manager window and watch how your systems resources are being used with it crashes and see if you notice any surge of memory somewhere. You may have to defrag your computer, delete old files, and uninstall old programs and see if that helps. Also when did this start happen because you might be able to do a system restore to the last your computer ran smoothly if it happen just recently then you could fix it that way. If nothing else happens you might have to reinstall the operating system to fix the issue.

I will admit when I saw this article I was completely shocked that this happen. Not so much that it does happen but this kind of genetic defection could happen and be survivable like that. The human body, DNA, genetics are the most unknown topics in this world because of the enigma's that it produces.

Well it is statistically true woman are more prone to depression but what throws a ball curve to make men more depressed then women is PTSD especially after coming back from a war zone. Right now almost every solider thats been to Iraq or Afghanistan have been diagnosed with PSTD, especially soldiers on the front lines like infantry and tankers. It all depends on the situation that a person is placed in and so in some situations women will be in the dominate group or men would be in a dominate group of having a bad case of depression.

Was your lawyer scary looking I might need him , but yeah that is kind of messed up that they thought you were bsing them about that. Heck I would change to another ISP and give them a bad review here to really show them how bad they are, oh wait you just did ;)/

Well what can you do, people don't like human and alien women embracing each other with hot action like that . Plus I doubt Microsoft would care all that much that one country ban this game, because of something like that, however, I am a bit shocked the U.S hasn't banned that game for its um scene .

Website Review Requested Please review my site
Saint_Michael replied to Above The Rest's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well since it is the default skin for the MyTopix forum software I would have to say its a descent skin colors work well. Now for "your site" you need more and I mean a lot more, yeah your starting out which is fine and dandy but personally there is not much to review on your site since all you did was install a forum. So add more content and stuff like that and have your site re-reviewed again for a more better opinion on what your site is about. -
interesting that a CD rom would fail the BIOS like that unless of course the BIOS didn't recognize the CD ROM drive and this case you have to do several things.First Remove the CD ROM drive and install it on a new computer, making sure that your connections are secured. Then run that computer and see if you get the same error, if so enter BIOS and see if it even recognizes the CD ROM drive. If not check your connections again and if you have to manually enter the CD ROM in depending on the motherboard and what. Then during that test put your old CD ROM drive back and run the computer to see if you get that error, if not then the problem lies in with the new CD ROM drive and its connection to the motherboard. So now if you don't get any problems with the first test then reinstall the CD ROM and make sure it is receiving power from the power supply and is connect to the motherboard and run it again. Usually motherboard will recognize the CD-ROM right away, of course it is helpful to make sure your motherboard drivers are updated as well, and so you want to FLASH your BIOS and that could correct the CD ROM drive from not installing. No you don't need a new hard drive as that is the ridiculous answer for a problem that is caused by the CD ROM drive. Remember CMOS has all the hardware information store on that chip and the only reason you would replace your hard drive would be if something is wrong with it.To sum up, check all your connections to make sure your CD ROM is connected properly, test the CD ROM drive on another computer to make sure its not your computer, and run your computer without that CD ROM drive to make sure no errors pop up.

Does Data Take Up Actual Physical Space?
Saint_Michael replied to KansukeKojima's topic in Science and Technology
Well in a way data does in a form of the hard drive, since once you max it out you either delete data or add on a new hard drive to add more data and what not. On the other hand if you referring to actual disk space on a hard drive then it the answer would no, because of the fact that companies are producing the same size hard drives that are packing 500GB-1000GB of space on them. Now look at the last 10-15 years of hard drive technology most hard drives could only hold 500-1000MB of disk space, and so you can see it could be possible that in the next 10-15 years hard drives will be in the 10+TB range and will only cost $200-$300 once they have been well established. -
Well I will give everyone a realistic perspective on who will be the next U.S president and try to fix all of Bush's mistakes since he first came into office. Although Clinton and Obama are very popular right now and in a perfect world they would win no problem, but in a country with so much political back stabbing, corruption, racism, sexism. They won't win, especially since right now the parties haven't nominated the primary candidates yet, and if those two get past that stage for this election expect a lot of political dirt to be thrown in there directions. I would say with it comes down to it either Romney or Edwards will be the front runners; however, regardless who wins the next president is going to have the most difficult presidency since Lincoln and Roosevelt were presidents. As they will have much repairing to do that I don't think the damage that moron has done will ever be repair in the next 3 or 4 presidents, and of course will they have to decide to end these asinine wars or be like bush and continue them. It is a fact that the generation X kids will suffer big time, but the 21st century generation will suffer the most since political corruption and backstabbing will continue to grow especially on the big issues of global warming, rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer gap increases, and of course oil. Although we cannot predict the future and what could happen we all know it is very bleak for us as humans regardless what these people who are paid to lie about problems that are obvious to everyone else. it will be a matter of time till someone does launch a nuke on someone, and it makes me wonder if the terrorists have won in the destruction of the United States. Are economy is so ruined because of oil that it don't take much to say terrorist attack and gas prices rise and stock market falls. Next year will definitely determine how economy will be like as gas prices will be in the $4-$5 range and there is no escaping it because politicians don't want other sources of energy to be unless it makes them millions of dollars. I wouldn't doubt that the rich and poor gap will grow as more average families start becoming poorer, and I can see that right now with my own family as we are barely getting by with what we make. 10-15 years ago we were doing fine as we had nothing to worry about and would spend like it was nothing and not worry about it, but now due to all the problems this country is having I wouldn't be surprise if the next president doesn't put a bullet in their own head. We all know Bush doesn't care and I wouldn't doubt that he has a plan for when he leaves because he is hte most hated man on this planet and he most likely go into hiding until he gets planted into the ground. That is just the few reasons I will never vote because of lies and crap that come out of these so called leaders, and if it does come down to Clinton or Obama winning, I rather have Obama win it because Clinton is so full of you know what that she will finish what bush is doing and completely ruin this country. I don't care that she would be the first woman president she is more crooked then Condoleezza Rice, and I would think Obama has the right state of mind and really stick it to the real crooks in DC.Aah feel better now after typing that out.

Downgrading A Hosting Package 2
Saint_Michael replied to Hagebyhemdata's topic in Web Hosting Support
Just a few people that I am aware got the domain plan especially some of the veteran members have gotten the credit domain. Of course I wouldn't that some members had bought their domains and then park the domain here on their Xisto hosting plan. 280 (250) credits is not hard to get if you set up a plan, like trying to earn 5-10 credits a day through posts and what not, and so it would only take about a month to get all those credits. Of course you can purchase credits as well if you don't think you can maintain a stable plan of some sorts to post the needed credits. Of course the gold mine posts are tutorials or scripts you have made that go into a lot of detail and in that way you can earn up to 10 credits just like that. Of course getting good discussion/debate posts that you constantly post in due to other members replying to and you replying back to what their post that they made. -
Call Of Duty 4 This is my info about Cod4
Saint_Michael replied to dannym23's topic in Computer Gaming
Yeah I wasn't much of a COD, FPS, PVP fan but this was a great game to play, and I actually enjoyed the online mode put about 8-9 hours into and got a rank of second LT. Need to get a HDTV so I can actually start enjoy the graphical aspect of the PS3 games. Thought the story was great died plenty of times (lol), although the only thing I didn't like was the fact your weapons were already picked out for regardless if you were a SAS or Marine. I especially enjoy mounting the guns in the C140 and the helicopter as I let loose with those. Overall its a good game with great replay value except that I feel the PS3 users get hosed on extra's while the 360 got the goods. I might go back to this game once I finish pro street and see if I can improve my rank a little bit. -
Yeah my years of going to school are going to pay off , anyways. The are several methods to doing a partition going through Disk Management, start up disk, Command Prompt, and using third party software such as partition magic, however since your using vista it could be different from what my book is telling me since it is only covering Windows 9x/Me through XP (Vista hadn't come out when this book was publish). Disk Management Although this is one of the quickest methods to do it it might be impossible depending on what options you get when you right click that partition, since you would be setting up your partitions when you first installed windows. Anyways to get to disk manager you do the following. 1. Click Start 2. Right Click My Computer 3. Select Manage 4. Select Disk Management 5. Right click on the partition you want to delete, and if the delete option is available click delete and it will restore that 80 gigs back to the primary partition. Now if the above method doesn't work the the other methods will. Start Up Disk Method Command Prompt Option Now before you go any further with that option I would suggestion you double check to make sure you selected the right disk in the command prompt once you entered Diskpart that you type in List Disk, as that will list all your partitions on the hard drive you are using. In this cases usually Drive D would be Disk 1 since the primary drive is disk 0, but oduble check so not to wipe out your hard drive. 3rd Party Utilities Now depending on the software it should come with a how to guide and what so check on that, but hte most popular software for partitioning hard drives is partition magic by Symantec (Norton). But before you drop the cash I believe using one of the other methods up top would be more feasible as you get to understand your computer more by doing it the Old School way and not using any 3rd party software. So these guides should help you out, and if you have a problem after you tried one of the methods make sure to post back here.

Well there are several methods to do this type of reflection the quickest method is done in just a few steps, since its simple enough images won't be required but I will provide a few links to several tutorials for how it should look like. 1. Duplicate the text layer 2. Go to edit then transform and then select flipped vertical. 3. Then right click on the copied text layer and select rasterize (it turns text into an image) 4. Now this were the different methods come inti play but I found this one better, you grab your square marquee tool and set the feather at 10px. Then place your square marquee tool over the bottom half and then press delete, and then put the opacity between 20-25% and your done. It is also good to mention that this works best with dark gradient backgrounds and if you going for the glass button look it works well there as well.
