it ok, but most people read up on tutorials before trying out a sig, i would say it is just pasting of an image i a background and text thrown on to it. i would consider it a avatar at most but not a sig.but like i say to all people that i start and what you will here on this topic read up on tutorials try them out and then start mixing those tutorials together and soon you will have somehting like i do.

that could be the problem try that out making sure the db is hte same and the xml file is the same, if that still not works, ask a MySQL genius then.

nope not a single filter is used in this, im not that cood at using filters so i just stick with brushing.

ok i figured it out in phpadmin export it as a xml file then reload it up in xml format your shouldn't have any problems with that.

yeah ask people that she knows to find out what she is all about get the 411 on what she likes dislikes her good qualities and her bad ones. then once you know enough about her, then start talking to her make it simple just don't blurt out "WOULD YOU LIKE TO GO OUT WITH ME" in front a lot of people cuz once you get the no its down hill from there.

yeab true gimp is second best to use after adobe, but you only can do some much, and from what i have seen, not to many brushes are made for it, and you have to know filters bretty well to use it.but yeah if you can perfect your gimp skills then when it comes to adobe you won't have any problems with it.

the .sql is only for uploading it through the acp you have to install the db first then upload that file then it should work.

all you have to do is make a exact copy of your forums in xml format so when you load it up in your acp you should have all your info in it as well., do the same for your MySQL dbs and then copy your forum folder then you don't have to install all the mods again by scratch.just make sure not to get any errors.

well as long as it is your website then you fine, but if its referrel website then you can't.

yeah i would stick with it, and guess what the members here on the forum hae about few hundred years worth of experiance in web design that would make most highschools. colleges look like they are still trying to catch up to the times, it true some aspects of designing take time to learn, but the best way to learn is look at other peoples work ask questions how they do it and who knows, you could have something the "students" don't know about.so go with it and tell the teacher to shove it up your know what, and punk those brats by telling their web design skills are noobish at best. .

yeah get ahold of the admin and let them know, they might have to reset the whole account just to fix the error but most likly its something simple that you did to cause the error.

i thought the game itself was to have many different paths you the character can take through out the game making it different every time you play, i guess what was changed. but yeah the graphics looked good.

i must be crazy and i am none of the posts up their mad eany sense to me, so i will put my 50 cents in :Plet start with the images, i would have been selective on the color of them some red some original colors. the red that you have is a little to bright and should be toned down just a bit.now with the text i would have used TB colors for the text, bronze i think, then just used a drop shadow and a stroke around hte text and it would be finished.but good try anyways SM (i should trademark those initials ).

well with the second one if you use rusty type colors in the second one with mixes of light and dark brown, it would actually look better try that out and see what happens. Make sure to get grunge type brushes to do it with though and it should look better.

that is some sarcasm you have going their sarcasm , i don't think using one brush is going to make a sig stand out, its going to be repetitive, i have a feeling you seen so many sigs that it just bores you to see people post them. IMO.

yeah aol blows and it is not cheap at all especially dial up users i cranked up a $1400 with aol/another isp, lets just say no one was please to see that phone bill, and all that junk mail you get as well thats just stupid, i say stay with high speed internet its cheaper then dial up do to the fact that oyur not connected to a phone line.thus AOL BLOWS AND YOU KNOW IT

i slapped a glow on it that's why, but i did put tech brushes in it to give the background more detail, but i was messing around with filters and decided that the cross hatch (i think) looked pretty good with it.with the text i was continplating keeping it solid or blending it into the background.like i said i was off a bit.I used ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS2.
