  1. I use Audacity if I need to record music fast and quickly. For real recordings, I will use Adobe Audition to record instruments since Audacity only exports at a 128 kbps maximum. I use Sony ACID with my VSTi plugins because I just find it easier to use. After I finish tinkering around in Sony ACID, I import the file into Adobe Audition and mix/master all of my music.I heard that Cubase or Apple Logic (mac) are really good for editing audio as well.
  2. I get the feeling of Deja Vu all the time. I get it frequently in school when I am tired walking into a classroom. I am not sure why I get it but it feels sooo weird when it feels as if you have already had the experience before.
  3. I liked reading this list. As I read the list, I went to go get some food to put in my mouth to see if I really chew on the right side. At first, I tried picturing myself chewing food but it would not work unless I actually tried it with real food. Also, I just learned that the cracking of the knuckles is the sound of nitrogen bubbles popping a few days ago in Chemistry.
  4. I don't even remember what the old comments used to look like. I have learned to get adjusted to whatever YouTube throws out at me. It was such an abrupt change. When YouTube changes something on their site, they do not even make update pages to tell anyone about it. You just go on YouTube and all of the sudden see a weird change. I do miss the old YouTube layout as well. YouTube should make an option where you can denote which website layout you wish to see. I would like to feel the old layout. What I can't stand is how small the graph is for the thumbs up and thumbs down rating system. Its squished on the right side of the thumbs up and thumbs down buttons underneath the video. It bugs me to see them all squished. They should just remove the graph if they plan on keeping the graph looking like that. It looks ugly and it has grown to be one of my pet peeves.
  5. I really like Fridays because everyone is in a good mood for the weekend and it is the day where I usually hang out with my friends after school. I can always find myself busy on a friday night. I do not hate any days but I occasionally feel like Sunday moves too fast and I start feeling stressed out for school on Monday for no reason. On Saturdays, these days are usually boring because its hard to find things to do and my parents just make me do choirs all day.
  6. I do not hate having to read books for a school subject. I actually enjoy most of the books we have to read for school (Romeo and Juliet, Othello, Iliad, etc.). The only thing that I do not like about reading the books is that there is always a ton of work associated with the book. There are some books that I cannot stand. For example, Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll was a terrible book in my opinion. I couldn't understand a thing that happened in the book while I was reading it. Also Great Expectations by Charles Dickens was a pain to read as well. The book was really long and pointless. The characterization of the protagonist made me want to kill myself. Pip is was so ignorant and dedicated to a girl that didn't even show feelings for him. Anyways, I despise those two books. However, I know that MANY people will have to disagree with me on that. My friends love those books and we had arguments all the time with those books.
  7. My favorite happens to be bubble sorting as well. When I first started C++ programming, I learned this technique which absolutely wowed me. I thought it was pretty genius at the time (I was around 12/13 years old). If you look at the wikipedia page for bubble sorting, you find some cool visual representation demonstrating how bubble sorting works.
  8. I like Final Fantasy VII. The original soundtracks included in the game were just amazing. Along with the storyline, it made the game allow the player to really relate. I first played it on my Playstation 1. I also liked how Kingdom Hearts put a lot of Final Fantasy characters into the game.
  9. This is amazing. More teens need to see this. Teenagers are getting more lazier and lazier each generation due to the spike in technology. Two years ago, I started working out and I could barely do 5 pushups, 15 crunches, with fail stamina. Now, I can max out around 55 pushups, 70 crunches, and can run a mile in 7 minutes. You will see definition after around two months. Pushups are kind of like benching. You bench almost your entire body weight. If you want to add more weight, you can wear a weighted vest or a backback. I varied between diamond pushups, pushups, wide pushups, and pressups to work different parts of my pectorals. Cardio is very important to burn fat and to maintain a good heart. I cardio every other day for 45 minutes running pacers back and forth. It is the most efficient way to burn off calories. Crunches and Situps won't cut it. They do not alone burn fat. I was told that they were called burpees. I find these really fun to do with a partner. I compete with my friends all the time with burpees/suicides. ***NOTE*** I recommend this to all teenagers (or anyone) who need motivation to work out. Play video games and every time you die, or lose, make yourself to like 10 pushups and 10 crunches. It doesn't seem like much but it really adds up. And you need to make sure that you actually do it.
  10. I think it is great that there is competition between companies because that means better products will come out leading to technology advances. I really like Silverlight. If you find a website (for example: http://www.shinedraw.com/flash-vs-silverlight-gallery/ ) that compares both Silverlight and Flash, I really prefer Silverlight more. It just looks amazing. You can also compare another one of Adobe's products, Adobe Flex with Silverlight.
  11. I think it is a neat addition to GMail. It appends all of my subscriptions of Xisto and Xisto to the end but it does put all my important email to the front. I do not receive much email so I guess the priority inbox feature doesn't help me as much. I probably get around 7-8 emails a day and I check my email daily.
  12. I am taking Spanish I at the moment and I think that it is pretty useful since I live somewhere where lots of people are Hispanic. I can understand more of what my friends and my community are saying. The culture is also pretty interesting to learn about as well. About a week ago, my teacher brought in some Spanish artwork (masks and pottery) and it was absolutely amazing! She explained the process of how they were made and it was really interesting especially the parts with the golden leaves.
  13. I got my flashcards to study for an English test, my wallet, my comb, my keys, my iPod Touch, my rubber bands for my braces, my school ID, and my phone. I always carry these items in my pockets everyday wherever I go (except for the flashcards). I admit that it gets a bit hard to get things out of my pocket with everything in it.
  14. I love Club Bing. You play little educational games that encourage you to search on the Bing Search Engine. After playing games, you earn points which you can redeem for prizes. My favorite game is Chicktionary which is an anagram game where you arrange 7 letters into different words. What I do is search up a Scrabble Solver on Google and start to input all of the anagrams that the Scrabble Solver spits out. I redeemed a water bottle . I took a few weeks for it to come though.I am pretty sure that the account was botted because it takes a long time to get that many points to redeem a camera. I used to bot the website and the only way to get enough for a camera is to bot 1-2 hours a day, everyday for an entire month (there is a limit to how many points you can earn daily).
  15. I believe lots of schools around the United States require you to take a swine flu vaccine before you are able to be admitted to school. If you do not have the vaccine, I believe they give you a deadline before they expel you.
  16. I was wondering if download accelerators/download managers really help increase the speed of your downloads. For example, I heard that "Download Accelerator Plus (DAP)" by SpeedBit and Gigaget helped increase people's download speeds but how exactly do these programs work and how efficient are they? Do they have a chance of corrupting the file that you are downloading?
  17. I kind of like the new Google Images (if I am not on a dial-up connection). It makes it much easier to search for specific photos that I might need to use. You can specify photo types, colors, resolution, general sizes, etc. For example, if I was looking for a new wallpaper to use for my desktop, I would search a key term and on the filtering panel on the left sidebar, I would specify the filter for the image resolution to 1024 x 768 or whatever resolution my computer is currently set as.
  18. My first MMORPG ended up being my longest MMORPG experience. Back in 2004/2005, one of my friends introduced me into a game called MapleStory which had me hooked on forever. Actually, it was more like 4 years but I really liked the game. The game kind of died socially after around v.75 but I really enjoyed the experience. I still communicate with some friends that I made on Maplestory on facebook. Its been around 2 years since I quit and I still keep in contact with my friends that I have made on Maplestory.
  19. My favorite final fantasy games have to be Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 10. A big part of why these are my absolute favorite games is the OSTs found in the games. It makes the game for emotional and I just love the games. They dragged me into the game a lot like how Kingdom Hearts I and II dragged me in. There was an amazing story line allowing you to relate with the characters along with amazing OST.
  20. I have this game on my iPod Touch. I love this game. I only play the games on my iPod Touch when I get extremely bored because I do not want to get tired of games on my iPod. Castle Defending games are my favorite. Its a great time killer and I recommend it to anyone. I believe that it is one of the top applications for game app purchases.
  21. I really love the Sims 3 but it is too repetitive in my opinion. It's an enhancement to the Sims 2 with a ton of more features but it really does get boring after a while. The graphics for the game are amazing. I would rather play the game on a console (PS3) rather that on the computer because I think it is much easier to control and the computer makes it hard to play on if you have a crappy computer like I do. I play with 1 GB of RAM causing the frame rate to decrease dramatically making it hard and a pain to play.
  22. My favorite games include all classic games from the SNES. I have played a whole big chunk of the games available for the SNES. My favorites include Tetris (all of them), Super Mario Bros., Super Bomberman and Sonic the Hedgehog (I really HATE the game on the iPod Touch though, the gameplay is ridiculous, it stinks in my opinion). OH MY GOD! That was my favorite map on Super Bomberman as well. That picture reminds me of the good old days when I didn't have all this stress. The Super Bomberman OST is still playing in my head today. I love this game. They need to release these exact PS3/XBox/PC. Soon, the original games will be ancient and no one will be able to play them. When I have kids, I want them to play all of these games that I loved on the old Nintendo consoles. My favorite games developed in the past five years (modern times ) include Modern Warfare 2 (thank goodness I am not a crazy addict like my friends are), Kingdom Hearts I and II (haven't played Birth by Sleep yet, dang it PSP), and Minecraft (a fairly recent game).
  23. I saw the trailer. I predict that people will go around grappling everyone just the same way people go running around with a tact knife with commando knifing everyone they see. I do agree that the gameplay will be much better though. I bet that lots of gamers will be crazy over that game as well seeing how successful Modern Warfare 2 was on November 10, 2009 when it came out at midnight. A lot of my classmates went an all-nighter just to purchase the game at 70 dollars USD. I found it ridiculous. One person even ditched his house in the middle of the night without the parents knowing just to get this game with his friends.
  24. I always complete at least an hour or more researching a get-paid-to site before actually joining it. When I research get-paid-to sites, I look for how the website works, I look for payment proofs, I look for testimonials of the get-paid-to site, and I look for success stories so I can get motivated. Also, there are sites like money-cyclers that kind of act like ponzi scams. I am not sure if they are considered ponzi scams but they promise 200% investment return. They get the money from new members investing and feed it to the top of the matrix. I am pretty sure it is illegal but it does work sometimes. These get-paid-to sites never last a long time since the matrix gets rather large after a while and the program will start to decline. Also, there are a lot of HYIP sites that claim to be HYIP sites which really turn out to be ponzi scams. The real HYIP sites are those that pay like 140% over the course of 3 months (compared to 140% over the course of seven to twenty days).
  25. I am pretty sure that all of you have heard of autotune. The purpose of autotune is to correct and disguise pitch problems in musical recordings (vocals, stringed instruments, etc.). Although the program corrects the pitch of your recordings, it often distorts the sound of the recording making it sound a bit like a robot. Artists like T-Pain, Cher, and Kanye West use autotune to the point where it is noticeable to almost everyone who hears the vocals for 5 seconds. The thing about autotune is that many artists are using to to correct pitch problems, in fact, I believe that it is way too overused in pop recordings nowadays. If you listen carefully to Disney recordings, you can hear the autotune pretty clearly. I am fine with autotune being used occasionally here and there but it is used in almost every single pop recording around this time. A YouTuber named David Choi says something about AutoTune in the video description of his "I gotta feeling" cover. He compared AutoTune for McDonalds: What do you guys think about Autotune and its usage in the music industry?
