  1. (long story short):One day we thought our bathroom plug was bad. We replaced it. The new plug was bad (I think it bay hav been the wrong type of GFCI). One of my relatives is an electrician, he said it was bad. Old plug went back in, new plug went to my room.Is it possible to use a battery with the GFCI with it working 100%?Its a 20A, 2 pole.
  2. The first part of what ^ she said. And I want that cake for my birthday, but I can't 'cause someone else used it. *is sad [is jk'ing]*

Just found one Pokemon game. That also means one is still missing and my other GBA is missing.

  4. I download a lot of music, and as soon as a music file is done downloading, ITUNES pops up and adds the file to the library automatically. Here's the thing. The PC is running Vista, so it's already slow enough without ITUNES starting every time I do something. How do I stop it from doing that? I would love it if when a song is finished downloading, I wouldn't have to wait forever before I can do anything else.

  6. I'd say that I broke a random body part, but I'd be lying, and lying is a sin.........*quickly says* I like tuttles....*fkees*

  7. But, a relay is spring and electromagnetism too. I have in front of me, a relay. It's max coil rating is 24V AC. I can put 6V DC/AC across it to get it to kick. 6V AC can't keep it on the on position, but 6V DC can. And I think a breaker is basically a relay that can only kick off (you manually kick on). Yes, 50mA is unrealistic, but 350mA, I feel is closer to realistic. And I know what you're saying about gravity causing it to kick accidentally. And to solve it, make it so that the breaker can kick at twice the torque that gravity is causing. Put enough turns into the coil to cause the required torque. As for 1A not being able to do too much damage to people, I'm not protecting people, I'm protecting wires and electronic components; E.G.: LEDs, ICs, resistors, diodes, etc.
  8. One or two years ago, my older sister (who's not very bright) decided to replace the lights in her room with a ceiling fan. At least she was smart enough to flip the breaker to her room first. After she (incorrectly) got it wired up, she went back to the breaker box, and turned it back on. She went to her room, turned the light switch on, and practically fried the breaker. We had to replace the breaker. Since the un-fried half still worked, and I play with electronical stuff, my dad gave me the old breaker. We also found out that day, the electrician who wired our house didn't do too good of a job in the breaker box, and the inspector didn't either. Our trailer could've burnt down.A few days ago, I could've told you exactly where my GBA was. I needed it a couple of days ago, and still do, to trade Pokemon with myself. I still have no idea where it is. But yesterday, I looked in a box in my closet hoping that I had put the GBA in there. I came across the breaker from my previous story. Then I had an idea. I had this idea before, but never gave much thought into it until yesterday. Why don't they make breakers with smaller kick ratings? I'm sayin' like 1A and less. Like maybe, 50mA could be the smallest. They could also be used as switches, not just fuses. If a fuse blows, you have to buy gas to go to an electronics store, then find the fuse with the same ratings as the old one, then buy it, then but gas to go back home. Then you have to physically replace the old fuse with the new one. Whereas a circuit breaker, you just simply have to flip the switch. So, why not make breakers with smaller ratings?
  9. I thought that when I installed an 8MB video card on my PC, it was a down-grade, but made the video run better. I just found out that the old card is a 2MB. It's like "*BLEEP*, no wonder the setup costed 75 bucks," LOL!

  10. I finally get the resistor color code system. The only thing left is to remember the actual colors and corresponding numbers.

  11. Now that I customized a desktop, I need $3619 then s/h money.

were you just playing around with it or are you really going to buy this system. don't get me wrong. nothing wrong with dreaming but that is like 2 months work wage for some people. after taxes and shipping and handling. that might be up to 4 grand. what do you have now?

I was just playing with it, but if I could, I'd actually but it. The one in my room has a 512MHz processor, 200 megs of ram. A 14 gig HDD and a 750(?) gig HDD. An 8 meg video card (runs better than the 16 meg). Bought the original for $75.00. I added the 750 gig HDD and the 8 meg video card. Replaced the CD burner with a lite-on CD burner. Added a DVD burner which sucks (maybe a dirty lens).

  12. Most of those questions are statements put into question form. The thing about viruses/trojan/malware etc., is that you have to program them for a specific OS and to do a specific task. What I'm saying is that you go into the PC and do all the hacking yourself. You know what to do if you can't find the file; keep looking, whereas a virus will give up.
  13. I'll give you a hint. He (OpaQue) basically told the joke. It's almost impossible to miss.
  14. I was thinking last night while trying to go to sleep. A computer and any antivirus looks at hundreds of files and watches what they do. They also do the same with programs. You are constantly getting files from the internet too (how do you think the PC is able to show the things you see now?).I thought that if you somehow got someones IP address or know where they are on a network if applicable, could you hack a PC to retrieve files without the owner knowing? Could you disguise yourself as a harmless file? Force the OS into thinking that you (a file) is supposed to do something like disable the firewall. Make the OS to not show any signs of the firewall being disabled. Then go back into the PC disguised as a program. Force the antivirus into thinking the OS is trying to do something, something that's supposed to happen. Go get the files/info you need. Re-enter disguised as the pre-mentioned file. Undo everything you did. Make it seem like you was never there. You could act like a network packet. Shouldn't the OS be the only thing that knows what to do with the packet?
  15. What the f***?!? http://www.gamestop.com/gba/games/pokemon-emerald/37370 For 5 extra dollars, you can get the system you play it on.

exactly. since she didn't read it, she didn't care. if she didn't care, she spammed your status message for no good reason :)

It says on the website: Pokemon Emerald by Nintendo of America

      BUY PRE-OWNED $39.99

It is a mystery where the option to get a system for 5 extra dollar is mentioned on the website.

The question is where the deal to get a system for $ 5 can be ordered. This means like a link or an explanation about the way this site works. When a link is given and a question is asked it means the link doesn't provide enough information.

  16. I tried the first method. At first, the DS made the laptop give an IP address conflict error. Then I tried the XBOX. It worked fine, so I retried the DS. It worked then. I just had to play with the routers settings.
  17. I done looked, but I can't understand the answers to the questions.I have a Nintendo DS. It has Wi-Fi capabilities. It can connect to the wireless router in my room. It'll find the router in my living room, but can't connect to it. It doesn't support the security settings. Well, the one in the living room is the only one that has an internet connection. I used my laptop successfully to get Live onto my XBOX again. I had to bridge the wireless and wired connections together, plugging the ethernet cable directly into the XBOX and laptop. If I connect the PC to the other router (in my room) using the one of the 5 ports, can I connect the XBOX into the one of the other ports and still get a connection? And can I use the wireless feature for the DS and it work?--OR--Will I need to physically bring the router from my room into the living room and daisy chain it?If I do either one, will the other router (in my room) adopt the security setting from the router in the living room, making the process a waste of time? I you can't figure out what I just asked, tell me and I'll try to post pic.s.
  18. You can do that.... Or that... Or get a program called "Free Youtube To MP3 Converter" from DVDVideoSoft. Go into the options and tell it to auto-paste from clip board. Then tell the main screen to download to whatever folder and as whatever type. Then you don't have to paste. Just copy the URL. When you're done populating a list, click download. It'll download any music YOU can hear.
  19. I gots me a splitting headache. I's sleepy, tired, sickish. Hopefully, I'll be asleep within 10 minutes.

  20. "Well I don't need, a whole lots a money. I don't need, a big fine car. I got everything that a man could want. I got more, than I can ask for. Well I don't have to run around, I don't have, to stay out all night. 'Cause I got a swwet, a sweet lovin' woman, who just knows just how to treat me right. Now my baby, she's alright, my baby's clean outta sight. Don't you know that she is, she's some kind of wonderful........"

  24. "The best of times are when I'm alone with you Some rain some shine, we'll make this a world for two Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime We'll take the best, forget the rest And someday we'll find these are the best of times These are the best of times" More lyrics: http://www.lyricsfreak.com/s/styx/#share
