Exact Number Of Credits Needed... To Keep Accounts Set As Active
tigen28 replied to Cain's topic in Web Hosting Support
I remember when I login one day and found out that I had less than 1 point left. At that time my site was still up and running fine, but I guess I was one of the luckier one. However, I don't recommend you taking the chances though. yeah, as the moderator says, keep it some distance away from 4. I think my goal now, after i get upgrade at the cost of like 30 hosting credits, I will try to remain my hosting credits at around 10. -
Well, if you plan on having a few people only to have access to a certain directory, like maybe just a friend or two.An easy way is to go to C-panel and use "Web Protect"All you have to do is to select the folder to want to be restricted to the public, add a user for you, then add 1 for each of your friends.yeah, it would not be efficient to do this if you planning to have like 10 people to have access, but 1, 2 or 3, I would choose this way.

Save Database To Harddrive Save database to harddrive
tigen28 replied to sader's topic in Web Hosting Support
Yeah, to export your mysql database, select the name of your database and wait for the options to load. Then, select the export tab. If i remember correctly, all the default selection are alright to use; so all you have to do is type a name for the saved file to be and click "SAVE"It should be in .sql file type. Take note of where the file is saved to and download it to your computer using an ftp program. You can also saved it through your browser it think, but i'm not sure how you can save it as .sql file extension.Well, at least I'm pretty sure the ftp program will download it for me. -
What! How come you all still use Opera. Caches helps and there are browsers that let you cache but still check for updates each time the page loads. My example is Mozilla Firefox. I love that browser.Does Opera has some features you all just will not let go? It can't be good enough to disable caches. On the other hand, maybe speed isn't your concern. For example, maybe you all have cable or dsl services. In that case, i understand.

15 Disney Roller Coaster Riders Treated For Injuri
tigen28 replied to Mysterio's topic in General Discussion
I'm not a fan of rides, rollercoasters, myself; and events like these futher secure my decision not to be a fan of these rides.I still feel sorry for the less fortunates who face injuries tough. My best wishes go to them. Of course, Disney needs to take precautions. If you are going to provide services, you have to be responsible. -
Tutankhamun Facial Reconstruction Tutankhamoun CT Scan

Nice. Although any mention of America and another countries or country using different ways to do the same thing promt my thinking of the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union.Don't mind me, maybe because i don't know much about history, and the Space RAce is one of the few history events that i can recall from memory. -
Yeah, the title of the topic may my thinking of a queen, not the mummy itself (with all the design, etc.). And, what is meant by two FALSE DOORS? Are they like trap doors to prevent bycomers from finding the mummy? If so, that is weird. I mean, I thought the purpose of making the mummy was for people in the future to remember him/her and be awed with the pretty design and jewelries, and stuff.

What! Cable, humm, are they telephone cables or something. If so, shouldn't it be underground. I know the sea is unpredictable and the water moves things around, but the cables should be secured to the ground one way or another.
-
Same here, I hope the best for him.I wonder if he will climb the mountain again in the future. I would not be. As a matter of fact, I wonder what prompt him to climb the mountain in the first place. The risk is unpredictable, so he must have had an important reason to do so; or maybe his passion for climbing was so great.Any comment or suggestion about why he climb the mountain in the first place?

Discovery Touches Down Safely... Congratulations to Nasa and humunity
tigen28 replied to kasm's topic in General Discussion
Yay, a success should always be celebrated. It scared me a bit though. I don't watch the news much, but i remember some days or weeks ago i happened to hear something about how the space shuttle is acting up and was showing signs of failure.Oh well, i could be mistaken. All in all, I'm glad it is alright. -
What Am I Going To Do Today? new discovery..
tigen28 replied to heavensounds's topic in Science and Technology
No way, I wouldn't want that. However, if I was asked to have my ideas and beliefs recorded, I might offer a "yes."If more people have the same way of thinking as I, I think there will be less depressed people. I would think so since I don't get depressed much. You can never assumed anything though. -
I prefer Intel. I dont' know if I have my facts straight, but I think Intel is more stable and gives off less heat.Well, maybe if I'm brave enought to mess with overclocking, maybe one day, i'll try AMD and save a buck or two.One more plus for intel. I always seem to connect intel with microsoft, Are they same branches of a company or working together or something, anyone knows?

Firefox Or Internet Explorer that is the question...
tigen28 replied to Judman's topic in The Internet
Firefox all the way for me. These days, FireFox is like the only browser I can stand.I like the tabs, flashblocker, popups blocker, and its sleek and compact design. It is much smaller than internet explorer and more stable too.Honestly, I don't know why people can stand internet explorer. Oh yeah, i know one reason why. They haven't try FireFox yet.I mean, just think about this for a moment. If Firefox comes with windows sofware, How many people will actually go to a search engine and look up for different browsers, like internet explorer? Very few, very few i believe -
Sounds hot. I currently used windows xp myself and love its stability. So Windows Vista is even Better, wow. However, I hate the "Activation " process though.I mean, i think when you buy a sofware you can install a copy on one computer, but you can also have the mobility to decide to install it on another computer and delete the software from the old computer.I mean, that would still only be using the software on one computer; and the rules is Terms is not break. Right?

A New Step For Mankind? can the Impossible....be possible?
tigen28 replied to Ryoma Taka's topic in Science and Technology
yeah, I think some people has already started messing with DNA.Gundam Seed, I missed those days. I watched like most of the begining and middle episodes, but i missed the ending. If Cartoon Network had shown the ending, that is. -
I'm going to college, so my sister is giving me her older Sprint Phone. She is going to keep the new Sprint phone model.Hey, it's not going to bother me. I'm not a phone person; I just own one to have one as a means of required communication.Talking about new models, I would even settle for an older model if it used less power if I can decide. I hate how cell phones needs to be recharge so often, what a waste of resources!

Computer memory is RAM right? If so I personally use ram sofware on any computer that I used. On my desktop, I used RAMBooster v1.6 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and on my sister laptop, which I am using now, I used FreeRAM XP Pro v1.40 http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Both of them are pretty good, but I think Rambooster v1.6 is is a little more compact and sleek.

Wow, so many people are into treasure hunting. If you ask me for advise, I think you all should check out a show on Cartoon Network called "One Piece." It is shown on Saturday, two episodes in a row. It's about this dude with rubber abilities to stretch but not swim and he and his crew are on a hunt for a big treasure called "One Piece." I watch the show myself. As with the treasure story found on the first post, i'm not into it much. I don't think any treasure is worth six deaths, especially pursuing blindly. To me, it's probably just some gold or some antiques. Seeing people pursuing such treasures remind me of coin collectors.Yeah, I no pirate; there is no need for treasures for me.

Few Tips From Hiding That You Love A Girl
tigen28 replied to Artanis's topic in Dating And Relationships
It's surprising to see that so many people seem to suggest showing your feelings when you think a girl is attractive.Me, personally, I think that there are many pretty girls, just that I never say anything. As a matter of fact, i'm antisocial. They reason behind my hiding my feelings is that I am like completely sure that i'm not going to marry anyone just yet. I am just about to enter college, and having a girlfriend is not going to make the workload any easier. Therefore, i'm just quiet most of the time around my fellow students and prevent anyone from getting heart-broken.I think that people should be careful with showing their feelings around other people. For me, as a serious person, I don't think anyone should show their feelings until they are prepared to marry someone and settle down for a family, like after they have a career, etc. -
The Perfect Girl/boy? Does it really exist?
tigen28 replied to sonorama's topic in Dating And Relationships
Of course, no one's perfect. Before you feel disappointed though, you should ask yourself if you really need someone perfect to be your partner for the rest of your life. I think many, like me, would say no.If you think that the intial reaction to a perfect boy/girl is an attraction, I would strongly disagree with you. I do not think that attraction or even love is the intial steps to a relationship. To me, RESPECT is the key to a relationship. I think even think that love is even an easier feeling to developed than respect.Well, before anyone jump on me for saying that; ok, maybe LOVE can be a much powerful feeling, but these days so many people abuse the the word LOVE, that's my reasoning for saying the above. -
Gift For Brokenfaith [from Blaque]

Yeah, the picture is cool. It's bold, not soft or girly.I think it will be appropriate to used on a webpage with content relating to an adventure game or the like. What are you going to use the picture for? -
It's always nice to see someone with motivation than one with depression.I agree there is always a point in living, but my reason is that the world needs all the help it gets.People just need to realize that life's not all about depression-free, pressure-free, etc.-free. They have to accept that life's not perfect and that they will continue on.Every human beings has the same basic needs: food and water, along with oxygen. However, there are a surplus of people who expects more. They want friends, support, the love of their dreams. People need to get over this fantasy and use what resources they have to share with the less-fortunate.Sorry if i sound kind of bossy.

my playing games history can be summed up with two games: tibia and runescapeRunescape: I start to play runescape before i found out about tibia. When i first played, i got into smithing and mining, not fighting, and i got tired soon.tibia: I played tibia afterwards. I like tibia because it was mostly fighting, unless you are a lazy sorcerer or druid and sat at one place all day and making ultimate healing runes or whatever sorceror make, death something, i believe. Well, I soon fear the 10% skills loss when you die in tibia. I mean, how can anyone lose hours of training time and be motivated to train again is beyond my comprehension.Once I could not stand the 10% skill loss at tibia, I came back to play Runescape. When you die in Runescape, you don't lose any skill experience. This time i got more into fighting. I started researching about pures and making a few pures. While i make a pure mage, if i not mistaking, i got into logging. Yews sell for good prices. Anyways, some time passed, and i got back into my main Runescape account and got my smithing to 68. Yep, i was able to make a full mithril set (not that good though). I think my mining is like 72. Well, if you have been reading this, you might be able to guess what i will say next. Yep, i soon got bored too. The fighting started to get on my nerds. I mean most people fight only a few feet north of varrock and ran to safety as soon as they feel any disadvantages. Also, I'm a solo in runescape most of the times, but that place north of Runescape is a multi-combat area. I got bullied by so many clan members, lol.Summary: I like the no skills lost when die in Runescape, but I like the fighting style in Tibia. If i can find a game with those features, that will be so cool. Also, would anyone recommend ragnorak online?

Is God To Blame? Who is to blame for the pain around us?
tigen28 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Hi moonwitch, first off, I would like to share my joy that you turn out ok. As for your question, i would really be interesting in your explaining it more, like what do you mean when you say "win you for it"I might not be answering anything directly here, but I would like to have a say. Before i read any replies, i already made up my mind that God is not to blame. My reasoning: Everyone has his/her own will, no one is a puppet. However, I do not totally accused all the guilt to the wrongdoers. Sometimes, maybe many times (i'm not sure with the statistics, so..), the environment that the wrongdoers were brought up in do not nuture the children the right way. A child may lack love and grow accustomed to violence, abuse, drugs, etc. and grow up to be bad parents themselves. Therefore i think the wrongdoers are to be blamed themselves or the bad people who intentionally provided a bad environment for a child to grow into wrongdoers. Either way, we can't blame Satan or God because they are internal forces, like our conscience; so if we fail to strengthen our will to do the right think, we ourselves are to blame. -
Well, I'm glad that you are able to get rid of the trash on your computer. However, I recommend that, if you haven't already done so, to have a firewall on at all times. For example, ZoneAlarm is good and is my personal favorite.I remember back a few months ago when I install Windows XP on my computer. I went online for only a few hours without a firewall and I got like a virus, or whatever it was.If it was possible, I think someone then hack into my computer and gave me that trash.AFter i use ZoneAlarm, I seem to have much less problems with hacking though.Wait, I reread your post and it seems you haven't got rid of the bad stuff yet? Well according to my understanding, you can try to uninstall whatever mcafee said had the trojan, then reinstall Mcafee. Also, it would be best if you close down all other applications when you install Mcafee.Hope that helps.
