I dont know if anyone watched the movie "The Island" but its great and its about cloning. Its about how people (usually rich folks) used clones as their "insurance policies". That is, if a "real" person gets sick or has an accident, then the clone is used as a replacement. So, the clone ends dead, and "customer" ends happy. The problem is that clones didnt knew what was going on. They were told that there is contamination out there and that there is only one island that is not contaminanted. And that "underground" clone society had a lottery program where they choose "a random" member (clone) to get transfered to the island.Great movie, and those things you mentioned are predicted quite well, although, a bit on a dark side. Cloning whole person is bad, in my opinion (I would be jelaous of my clone), but "organ replication" sounds as a much better solution to a lot of prolems for which people would generaly use cloning. If it only existed...

Do You Know Html? Just Wondering, most of you would know.
Unregistered 015 replied to scab_dog's topic in Programming
I know HTML and basics of CSS, PHP and MySQL. Right now I'm into this "AJAX" thing (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML). I think there lies the near future of web and Internet. I might turn to this as soon as I finish translating W3C Recommendations of HTML and CSS into Bosnian. -
Which Cms Content Managment
Unregistered 015 replied to furkan16's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I've been using PHPNuke and Mambo and choose Mambo between those two. I don't know why, tough. May be because of easiness of creating templates for it, and a lot of translations, modules, and alike stuff out there. -
Hypnosis really fascinates me. It works something like this: your brain accepts verbal comands and alters the state of body muscles wheater you want it to or not!Try this: - hold your hands (palms) close enough, but don't let them touch each other- relax and dont act on your muscles with your conciousnes (this is important)- repeat to yourself: my hands are touching (or something like that, I'm not english so I cant tell you the exact phrase, but say what sounds the best).- after 1 minute or less your palms should touchYou should keep your eyes closed during this. Experiment 2:- hold your arms in a horizontal position (raised i paralel to your shoulders)- make sure your arms are streight an form a straight line together then,- close your eyes- imagine a brick tied for your left arm- imagine a helium baloon (really big one) attached to your right arm- now repeat to your self: - brick is taking my left arm down and baloon is lifting my right arm- after repeating the above to yourself for one minute open your eyesYour left arm should be a little lower and your right arm a little above the starting position! That's hypnosis. Ofcourse there are much more complex forms and expiriences (as the topic opener had), but they all basically work the same.

I've never said anything like "files and folders". I've never said anything about saying "computer open search corridor". I think you get different picture from what I was saying. It would be nice if you came to "site" and say "hi" for example, and AI greets you "welcome sir, we have recommendations for you. Would you like to see them?",You: "no, I am just looking for a bla bla...something..." AI: "Ok, sir. Here it is. You can search through it. You may view TOC, index, and a sample page. What would it be?" It's something like that. You talk like you would with a normal person. There are no "directories". That's system's concer. You get the service. And the service every (excuse bad word) dumb can use and is familiar with. Isn't that an advantage? What do you do faster: typing or talking I can type fast but not as nearly as I can talk I have to agree with this one. (Although people don't have privacy when they go to the mall too). There might be "text mode" for those who want privacy You could just say: "Let's switch to typing." AI:"OK". Right now I'm at the point when I like to watch a lot of videos. If there is a video of something I rather go watch it then read about it! People need information fast these days, and reading is slow. It's much better way to learn when someone or something presents information via live presentation or movie. One can present a 1500 page book in 1-2 hrs of movie, and reading a book takes at least 20 days (if you are real maniac). What is better?

I know very well how Amazon works, and I consider it to have a bit of intelligence in it. If it wouldn't then people wouldn't be saying things like "How does this site KNOWS what I want?". If something or someone KNOWS something about something then it might be considered INTELLIGENT. (at least "logically" intelligent, since decisions are made by logic rules in this case) Acording to "Touring's test" artificial being might be considered intelligent when humans cant distinguish bethween it and a real human. This is hard to achieve since that artificial being should be humanoid (walk, talk and behave as a real human) but there's been some progress (like A.L.I.C.E. chat robot, but without the body ). I don't see the point here. I think it might acctually make the process more real and quicker (no typing, but talking, no clicking but asking questions, etc.) And what if it was programmed to program itself? Aren't we humans too? I guess by pre-defined one might consider "learned".

I've just read an interesting article about the mentioned topic, and I had to ask Xisto forum users of their opinion and perspective on this. As web is becoming more and more a medium for communication with visitors and less and less "a static page" it also gains a bit of "intelligence". Users now visit web sites and get a bunch of "recommendations", and alike stuff, based on their profile. That is sort of intelligence, namely artificial intelligence. At some point, when computers evolve and start using retinal scans, there should be no "login pages", and a visitor might be recognized trough his or her eyes. Then artificial intelligence (AI) might "decide" what information to show on page based on that user's profile (pretty much the same way as amazon works today). But in this case, AI is more "intelligent" and you can comunicate with it using your voice instead of mouse (voice recognition). It also could be some animated figure (3D humanoid) that talks to you as you are visiting "the site". The "site" then turns to "shop" or "store" like the one in reality. You might also use 3D hallways and "mall models" through which you could move (like in todays 3D games). The only thing people will have to do then would be to deliver purchased stuff to the customers. So, what do YOU think would the e-commerce future look like?

What Is Your Iq? Lets see how smart you are

If it is not "logic" as you say it, what determines how smart (or intelligent) a person is, what is it then? -
Right, easy and quick way to get the job done. But I prefer to hand-code my sites, since I'm a proffesional Just kidding! It's ok to use CMS, but only after you know every detail of it and know how to use it properly. If you can create your own templates, that's a big plus too. I've used mambo open source, and was pleased with it until I wanted to create valid code (HTML). This was not possilble using CMS like Mambo without some serious coding (and I didn't need all of the features of it), so I decided to do it by hand. But, in my opinion CMS' have bright future, since people want results fast those days. They want their site up and running with all those fancy features in no time. That's where CMS can really be of assistance. However, proffesionals either create their own CMS' or buy it from someone.

I'm 100% percent sure that we won't be there to see it (I mean people in general). Space is, as you probably heard, very BIG. And humans will live somewhere else before Sun runs out. But where, we don't know yet, and we dont bother too much, since there is still a lot of time before that happens. If I could get frezed right now, and melted 5 billion years latter, I would do that.Unfortunately, I can't

Firefox Or Internet Explorer that is the question...
Unregistered 015 replied to Judman's topic in The Internet
I am a Firefox fan and hater of IE. B)I create web sites and I want my sites to be standard-compatibile (that is valid). Whenever I write new piece of code (HTML, XTHML, or whatever) IE gives me more trouble then anything else. While Firefox, on the other hand, is compatibile with every (90% of time) mark-up I enter. So, I'd go with Firefox. -
Splinter Cell was made for PC frist time (I'm guessing you play them both on PC), while MGS was created for PSOne. Later MGS was "transfered" to PC, and it was BAD. It was bad transition and comercial move that ruined gameplay and fun. The MGS itself is not a bad game, but in my opinion Splinter Cell is even better. I haven't played MGS 4, so I can't tell about that, but I have played all of SC series.

How To Tell A Person Likes You
Unregistered 015 replied to nathankang0's topic in Dating And Relationships
What about asking her?Just come over and say: "Hey, I know I'm pretty, but could you be more subtle next time, ok. <pause> Must not whole world know about it!"Of course in fun way...And then you could ask:"what do you think about me?" -
I must add that one can use PHP to create programs just as he would use any other programing language. There is an extension for PHP that allows you to do this. But PHP was created primarly for web development and (as you said) creation of HTML, on server side, and giving output to client (web agent/browser) as formatted HTML.

Rate My Site its not finished yet
Unregistered 015 replied to Unregistered 015's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Yea, I know that the language should be english. But this is not my "official" Xisto site. It's located at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ (notice /avijacija) and it was made for purpose of testing W3C validation service and for fun. My official site at http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ will be in english and those other sites (avijacija and http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) will have another (paid) hosting. Anyway, sorry for violating the TOS. -
There are still links missing (and about page) but other content is present, so tell me what do you think? Here it is: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

I've registered this domain: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and set up Xisto dns' for it. Now I have directory SDA in http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and I want this domain (http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) to point to this directory BUT I want to have http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ in the address bar ALL THE TIME, not just when I type it. I've set up add-on domain and redirection but once I type http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ in browser it goes to ciroxyz.trap17.com/SDA I want it to display http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ all the time, and I don't want to put my web site in a root directory (don't want to use parked domain). How do I do that? Can anybody help? Notice from mayank: Merged two posts.."Can anybody help ?" was the second post..with only these four words.
