Watching Sex Scenes In Movies With Parents... How do you usually feel?

I feel definatley embarrassed, but most the time its with my brother, I just grab the remote and flick through some other decent channels

man it's weird. kissing isn't too bad but sex scenes are just uncomfortable. i don't know wether to look away or watch the tv like nothings going on. thats why i try to stay clear of those movies, the other day they wanted to watch jar head, and i'm like oooo that was a bad movie just cuz of the sex scene.

I still can't do it, I get too embarrased. I used to cringe at the thought of sex scene appearing in a movie, so much so, that if I new it was coming, I would get up and go make a snack to avoid being in the room when it came on

Me and some friends were watching a horror movie & ends up there was a bit of bumping & grinding involved plus loud screaming during those scenes. Well my mom was also watching and it was soo embarassing, because she kept asking me whether this was porn! LOL!

That made me laugh so hard.

I also hated watching movies with my parents when I was younger, now it doesn't really matter.

I wonder who was more embarassed you or your mom?

its really embarassing to watch such scenes with your parents,i usually change the channel myself to avoid such embarassing time and if its short scene i wouls simply ignore that stuff, i simply don't understand yet why these scenes are such a shocking thing for parents,isn't these alll thing suppose to be naturaL,but yet even i dont know that someday what i will feel when i will become a parent ,hoo, these times are really so ackward ,u don't know what to say and don't actually know how to keep your facial expression at one time i simply started to laugh,seeing my parents seeing me ,o mine i was such a heck hehe

Well the other day I was watching a trailer for a film I am going to see tommorow. And guess what, my mum walked it. She said, are you going to see that? Well at the time it was a scene of women (good looking ) in a changing room, getting well changed. I was like oops, I have to pause that and go onto a different tab in Firefox.She wasn't that too bothered, I keep myself to myself.

Hey,I used to feel a bit awkward when I would something sex when my parents are around but now its ok and I watched all the American Pie series with my mom and dad at home and it was funny for I didnt feel weird but I guess my dad felt weird coz we hardly talk about anything related to sex in front of him.My mom's cool, She was a bit shocked herself when we saw American pie one where nadia is at jim's place. When I was a kid, I could never have imagined myself watching sex scenes on the TV with my parents. Just too darn embarrassing - especially for me since I was still learning new things during the pre-teen/teen years. Can't really say what would happen now. Perhaps we all might turn a blind eye to it.

Sometimes it's kinda freaky to see how people bump and grind in horror/sex movies and on MTV even... you gotta wonder what are they doing??? but my parents are fine when I sit with them and just watch good movies although they have sex scenes which I don't particularly like to watch, but it's ok for my parents and me to watch it. But I'd rather not. Kind of awkward.

I'm going to have to go along with those who say that it's embarrassing, but it's not so much embarassment as it is awkwardness. Watching it, especially with both parents with you cuddling or whatever, can end up causing awkward tension between you all. Unless you all joke around and then it's okay.

I guess too it depends on what country your in too, Here in the US there is not much if any nudity, Buttocks only on the network TV but cable anything almost goes. Yes I agree with most it would be embarrassing for some preteen or even a teen to watch this with his or her mom and dad. But why would a mother or father let there young kid see that in the 1st place?

i think that is just embarrassing, even if its something as small as kissing, i tend to act normal, like its nothing, or pretend like im not paying attention, hahaha, because theres always the fear that they will pop theare you sexually active question? or the sex talk ahahhaetc

Watching sex scenes in movies with parents has got to be one of the most painful and awkward moments ever. I usually either stare at the screen and refuse to look at my parents or pretend to be preoccupied with something else (like fiddling with my mobile or suddenly becoming very interested in the popcorn) haha. I think the first time that happened was when I watched Titanic with my parents.If its a movie that's showing on TV and my parents are there I usually flick the channel to something else very quickly. My parents don't comment on it or say anything to make me feel awkward but its just the idea of your parents watching sex scenes in movies WITH you that's really uncomfortable, especially since I don't talk to my parents about those kinda things usually...

It's very embarrasing, I usually change the chanel or I'm like hey let's what other movies are on right now... Kissing scenes are pretty much ok but sex scenes not. Every good movie has sex scenes in it, what can I do, sex sells. I watch movies like that in when my family isn't at home.Once I was watching this comedy movie with my girlfriend and then comes the sex scene, just imagine my situation! I think parents must feel as much uncomfortable as us? They wouldn't like us to watch that kind of thing but they know it's "ok" by the moral nowadays.
