I'm using GMail extensively for all my Personal Mails. I also have my professional mail setup on Google Apps. Other than GMail I use Live Mail occasionally and Yahoo! Mail very rarely ^_^

Gmail all the way, ill give you the reasons why a gmail account is better (IMHO) than windows live mail/hotmail/whatever those crazy lads at microsoft are calling it now.Gmail has free pop retrieval (no need to upgrade and PAY for this) Free spam detection, not to mention all the things you can get, orkut, blogspot, google docs, the list goes on. Not to menion the fact lots of people use it as an FTP server (as in upload to gmail and access it from another computer)Google basically has the monopoly on the internet. When something's name becomes a verb you know its big "google it" i think that for personal use (other than porn) Myspace, facebook, google and wikipedia are probably the most well known and most visited sites.

I am using gmail (2 accounts), hotmail (2 accounts) and yahoo (2 accounts) total 6 mail accounts. I'm using all of them but usually checking mails in gmail because using Outlook Express with gmail is faster then the other with browsers. :D

And also I have forwarded my emails which come to my domain to my gmail account.

I personally use Gmail, and hotmail. The reason is quite simple. Sometimes my emails sent from gmail end up in junk mail folders, so hotmail is the backup for it.Gmail is my favorite because of how many options it has. The online document viewer is just great, when you're not at home or someone doesn't have OpenOffice/Word and wants to view your text or excel document.Along with this, Gmail auto updates the emails as you are sitting there, so you can minimize the screen and tell when you have emails.Plus the awesome feature of showing ONLY the latest part of the emails rather than the entire thing solves on a lot of headache. Being able to see each message as if it were it's own email is a feature I feel all email providers should have.In terms of speed, I'm really not sure which is the fastest but generally I get my email faster in gmail than in hotmail. Not to mention uploading files is much faster/easier as you can upload it while you are writing the email. The email saving feature is pretty cool as well. I love when my browser crashes and I can just go back to gmail and continue from where I left off(or not far before)Overall, I must say that gmail is by far the best email system I have ever used, and will continue using it.(Forgot to add that I get 0 junk mails a day because of the filter - hotmail gives me about 15 a day getting through the filter)

I have a Yahoo! email acct., a Hotmail acct, a Gmail acct., an old Excite email acct, as well as a cox.net acct. and Comcast acct. :D The Cox acct. is in AZ. When I got divorced, I moved back to California, but I still have the Cox acct. since my ex-wife is still there. I can't use it to send though, so I have a Comcast acct now. I only use my Comcast acct. for serious stuff, never give it out on the internet. I don't want any spam to it. :D

Well I use Yahoo!, Hotmail, and Gmail.G-Mail is the best one because it offers free pop access, Hotmail have a good interface and spam protection, Yahoo? I think it's just average.

I love Gmail. Brought by one of the biggest service provider in the world Google, Gmail is innovative and easy to use.I remember how Gmail changed the world's e-mail business competition by offering 1 Gigabyte space. Yahoo was shocked. Compared to Yahoo 4 Mb space that was a big punch on the face. Gmail, still the best e-mail provider for me even Yahoo offers unlimited space.

I've had experience with only Yahoo and Gmail. My main email service is Gmail because I like the whole design aspect of it more than Yahoo. Also, Google seems to provide better web services than Yahoo so I guess I'll stick with Gmail for a while.

i forward all my mails from gmail to hotmail. I like hotmail more.

Have you ever tried to forward mails from hotmail to gmail or hotmail to any other except live and msn?
Gmail supports forwarding but yahoo and hotmail don't support forwarding.
Gmail also supports POP3 and IMAP. Gmail is my favorite.

gamil's first choice for me! it has many features, supporting pop3 and imap, huge capacity, and so on...second of all, I would choose hotmail, only because of its stability, though it has updated rescently.that's it, two of them, is enough for me, no matter for working or entertainment.
