What's Your Favorite Animal!

Recommended Posts

I just love cats. I even have a cat; he's fat, he's lazy and he purs like a tractor everytime he sees me.I'm not a big fan of dogs (yes, I realize some people may disagree with me on this). I think that a dog is a more of a slave rather than a man's best friend.Don't get me wrong: I still love dogs, I all love all animals for that matter, but I think that cats are more inteligent, more independent and I like them better.

Hello all!!That's an interesting question... so, let's see.. I would definitively say that my favourite animal would be the one that is in the *person* Sapian category. Yes, I find that the human is the most facinating animal in the whole types that exists! They are so intelligent and so mysterious that we are still so far to discover all the beautiful mysteries if this animal that are us! (my curiosity about humans and human body is probably why I choosed to study in the medical department. There are no other animals in this world that are so complex as us.Well, if you would exclude humans, I would probably stay conservative like others and choose the tiger or lion. But as domestic animals, there is nothing better than dogs; they are always so happy when you cone back home! (I like cats too hahaha, I've got both at home; a dog and a cat : D .Tim.

There's no doubt about it, I love dogs most of all. They intrigue me and they're all so different. I like cats too, but they're kind of boring, and in the case of my cat, quite aggressive. It's cute when they sleep though, it should be, that's about all they do. My cat sleeps for like 20 hours a day, naturally the hours she doesn't sleep are when I'm sleeping. She'll jump around and knock things over, really annoys me.In response to "dogs are more like slaves" - well they sure are slaves to food. You could almost make a dog jump off a cliff for a piece of steak. I don't think they're slaves to people, if anything, Humans are slaves to dogs. We prepare their food, walk them, escort them places, pick up their poo, clean up after they mess up the house, we groom them, we play with them when they're bored, provide them with everything they need. Yep, I think we're the slaves

I will say my favourite pets, but not animals, as I really like most of animals which looks nice! Especially I like to watch some documentaries where they are shown, but anyways, about pets. I used to like cats, but since I got my dog, I don't like cats, I prefer dogs. Also, I used to have a chinchilla, and they are quite cute, lab rats are also fun, but it's a pity they live only 2-3 years.. :(

My Favorite AnimalWhat's Your Favorite Animal!

I love animals so much...I've always loved dogs and horses, but my favorite wild animals are:

1. Rhinos (particularly the Sumatran Rhino)---These are my favorite wild animals because they are primitive, cool, and very interesting to learn about. The Sumatran Rhino, personally my favorite, is the only rhino specie that has reddish/brown hair coving their body. They live in the tropical rainforests of Malaysia and Indonesia, and are excellent swimmers. Sadly, these amazing, unique mammals are on the brink of extinction: only 250-300 left in the world today. Their populations were very healthy 300 years ago and were doing just fine-but habitat loss, logging, and poaching drove this animal to becoming extremely rare. These animals have no natural predators, but man is their greatest fear. Their horns are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and are thought to cure diseases, but this hasn't been proved to be true. Their horns are also used as dagger handles in the Middle East. Habitat loss had had a great effect on Sumatran Rhino populations. People are cutting down trees, destroying their forests and replacing their habitat with buildings and homes. This makes the rhinos die out of starvation. This needs to be stopped-we need to act now and do everything we must do to save these magnificent beasts. Fortunately, there are reserved in Asia that are preserving these animals and are planning on making new homes for them in the future. This animal cant leave the world and be history----we need to fight to save Sumatran Rhinos :)

2. Koalas---They are so cute! I love how they curl up in a fat furry ball and sleep lazily in trees! So cute and cuddly, too :)

3. Giant Pandas---I love pandas-especially their awesome black patches on their eyes and body. Black and white bears are awesome! We need to do everything we can to save these marvelous animals!

4. Red Pandas---omg-the cutest little things ever! I love their beautiful ringed tail and their bright orange/red colors on their body. They sure are cool!

5. Cheetahs---I loved cheetahs for a long time. They are the fastest land mammal on Earth and have trained to hunt by man. I also like their pattern and the marks under their eyes ;)

6. Dolphins/Orcas/Whales---Dolphins are amazing-smart, playful, and very protective and friendly towards humans. They always seem to smile, and are one of Nature's most beautiful sights of pods jumping out of the water. Same with orcas and whales, they are magnificent animals and an example of God's beauty.

7. Tapirs---They are very interesting, primitive creatures. They have long noses and uses it to grasp leaved off trees and uses it as a snorkel while swimming in water. They are related to rhinoceroses and horses, too. Unfortunately these unique, fascinating animals are close to extinction---we need to help and protect them!

8. Tigers/White Tigers--One of the most beautiful animals in the world. Tigers are a symbol of power, strength, and beauty. They are amazing predators, and we need to stop the trade in their fur and bones immediately!

9. Lions/White Lions---I've always loved lions, ever since I was in third grade. They are very beautiful, especially when their awesome mane is blowing in the wind. White lions are so pretty-their pure white color and rarity give it an awesome attribute :D

10. Snow Leopards---They are beautiful animals that roam the mountains of Asia. Just seeing a snow leopard walk past a mountain makes you awe! I also love their pretty green eyes and big fluffy long tail <3
