I only use one, at least for free website submission services, of course i use programs for that purpose, for instance:

web ceo (free and the best i know)
web position pro 4 (not free)

but if you don't want to use programs, this is the best free web submission service there exists on the internet:

I think there is a function in our cpanel that enables us to summit our site to various search engines. I would choose to use that one instead of others. Anyway, I am only building a personal site. My experience of running a personal site for 3 years has conviced me that not all sites needs crawlers on them. The search engines often bring bad visitors, those who are only interested in sex and warez. I put up a robots.txt to stop these engines from crawling my site then. It saves me a lot of bandwidth too.

Thelaw, you still need to pay very atention, and also use this things on your website (and in all pages):Title tagkeywords (meta tags)description(meta tags)keyword popularitykeyword densityhigh quality informationand/orhigh quality products (programs,tools,services,etc...)well, everything that needs to be done for search engine optimization of your website, for all the pages of your website, even if the pages are all connected directly to the same website subject or theme.

well, do you mind in sharing the URL of WEB CEO & web position pro!

anyway, I think the addme.com site is not the good one! As it is asking for the address information & all..I think they'll just sell that information (plz note this is my thinking..may be I am wrong)

If you'd spent the time it took you to write that and instead input the terms into Google, you'd already have the links.
Yeah, if you use Web CEO you can submit your site to hundreds of SEs from around the world for free.

i don't recomend ANY free submission services on the net. they can cause more harm to your site than they do good. this includes the submission service within your cpanel here. also, it might take your site 2-3 months just to get listed this way and your scratching your head "why isn't my site listed". also, because people don't see their site listed right away, they will tend to resubmit once a week and boy can that get you in trouble if you do it too often as that would be considered spamming.

my advice is to post a link to your site on Xisto or another forum that gets searched by the engines regularly. they will find your link and crawl it within a week. BAM! you're listed faster and it's a safer way.

also, there are high paying programs that you can buy that can list your site. this is SAFER than any free service, but i don't recomend paying for software to do this. this same software helps you optimise your website pages for higher search engine rankings. i DO recomend the software for that and the other features, but not to submit.

now just because you get your site listed in the search engines doesn't mean that will attract visitors. it wont. you need a high ranking. a ranking in the top 10-20(first two pages) for any of your keywords if you want the search engines to help attract visitors

Here you have the links, visit this sites and download the software, but you don't need the two ones, you can only use web ceo software, it's free and much better then web position pro 4:

Web CEO (FREE and the best of them all)
https://www.webceo.com/

Web Position Pro (Very good, but not free)

Hey thanks guys. These are really great. It is so hard to get your info into a search engine. And if it gets in, it is even harder to get it to the point where you can search for a topic related to your website, and yours is within the top 10. Thanks for sharing. I actually used another search engine submitter back a while ago, and it submitted me to several search engines. But you are kind of treated you know, like an average site, and even now, six months after I submitted, I am still only on about 30 of the 100 I submitted too. Maybe this search engine submitter is different. Who knows. Thanks again!

I wouldn't reccommend using a submit service to the main search engiens (maybe the 1000 or so smaller ones out there, yes) as google and msn etc will penilize your submited url I'm told.
