Hey homeschooler! You are right on. It seems this has quite the conflict going. I would like to say that Jesus never sinned, as some of you pointed out. People get confused. I think this is what happened here. I don't know where you got your info from, I would love to know. Only certain people realize that Jesus is the ONLY mediator between man and God. I don't mean to offend you roman catholics, but a priest is not needed. It says in the bible: This means you only have to pray. Also, I believe there is no eternal hell. If God was just, He could not have an eternal hell. That would be too horrific for people to burn for eternity. So there is one thing I disagree with. However, it is important to remember that you realize that with God, He is forced to be just. If He lets sinners go unpunished, what justness is there? We are all sinners. No one can deny that there is a God if they are a Christian. What if there really was a God for an atheist? Wouldn't it be scary. What have you to lose? Nothing I say! I urge anyone that doesn't believe in God just to find a bible and read through John. Just test the waters. You may find something spectactular!

Hey Joshua,I sure am glad to have you on the forums. You seem pretty religious like me.On evolution, I have had several debates, and let me tell you. I have never seen anything so ridiculous in my life. It is pitiful the way evolution is "patched" up to try to make it hold a little water better. Scientists constantly look for a missing link between animals and humans. For instance, they look for a link between humans and monkeys, and between dinosours and birds that evolved from them. They also look for the missing link between water and land mammals and animals. With all these missing links to all these different "evolving" animals, you think they would have found it by now, huh?To answer your question revolutionary, there i much evidence out there. Let me start with this. There is a expert on theism, he said that in order to have evoltion happen from the big bang, you have to have just the right ammount of proteins. It is a very complex, a single protein that is. The number was astronomical about the chances he gave. He said it would have been very hard for it to happen. There have been tests to see if complex proteins and bacteria can devolope. Such as the sealed glass beaker test that showed that complex things could form after water had been heated and sealed. But scientists have now found out that it was not plausible due to the fact that organisms can survive heat tmps of large degrees. Also, the gases that the person doing the test thought might be in the atmosphere at the time, couldn't have been in the amounts given during the test. He sealed in the wrong amount of gases, which could have also altered the outcome of the test.It is nearly impossible to prove such a thing as evolution. It can't hold water, and doesn't have evidence to back it up. It is a empty belief that isn't plausible. Think about this. A loving God that decided to create the world through His magnifisent powers. It is so much simpler. I think I have teared down evoltion enough.-Cheers!

Halloween And Christians Its origin and, should we celebrate it?
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Okay, lets get some thoings straight here. I would first ask that all of you settle down. I am not saying to get rid of the holiday, if non-Christians choose to participate, that is their choice. They can. This post if for Christians. Maybe you should have read the title better. I just think it is wrong for a professing Christian to celebrate such a holiday. The origin of things are very important. You must understand this! If I cannot so you the origin, how then, can I prove to you that what I say is true? Let me also say that if you are in fact a Christian, you should ALWAYS take the bible seriously, as some people pointed out.Cerb:I have given my reason for why I use origins. It doesn't make the church evil because they forced people to convert, but it does make them wrong. Also, they were not spiritualistic then. They just shoved their religion down people's throats. What we are dealing with now is spiritualistic things. I am not getting pathetic, but I am trying to prove that the world is a lot more evil then you think and that you must be more aware. Halloween, is something that originated from the worship and honor of the dead. It still holds that attribute or we wouldn't dress up in scary costumes like witches and ghosts. -
I find no other topic better to discuss than this. I tried to post it in religious, but alas, you guys don't have a religious section. *Hint* I decided to just post it here. Feel free to move it. So anyway, I will discuss with you what I learned. It's origins: Halloween originated from Ireland and Scotland. It was celebrated by the celts for the end of summer. Suring this time, it seems a lot of "darkness" was incorporated into this day. The people believed that the dead were wandering around as spirits looking to whom they could possess. The people would dress up in costumes to scare away the spirits. Pretty dumb. When the Catholic church came into play, they turned Halloween into honoring the saints of the church, called "All Saints Day". I personally consider this somewhat of worshiping the dead, just beacuse the bible says that the dead can't know anything, so why honor them? Back to the point, two days afterward, people would go out into the street and go from door to door, getting little cakes and in return, would pray for a dead person of the family's choice. Why? Because back then, people thought that the dead weren't either saved or unsaved basically, and that preayers would alter the ultimate destiny of that person. Of course, we know that when the dead die, their fate is sealed, and that they stay in the ground until Jesus comes again. This is most likely where trick or treat came from. Now on to the next part. Should we, as Christians, take part in this day?: The answer is quite simple. It consists of two words and sounds something like this: NO. No? That is right. Here is what the bible says: There you have it, Halloween is a day that had spiritualism ground into it. I believe we are not to take part in this. After all, it says it is: I would also like to say that pumpkin carving came from people, carving faces into turnips ans making them glow with a candle in order to welcome in their deceased loved ones. It also served to scare away the evil spirits. But to a Christian, this is actually welcoming them! I would like your opinions on this matter. Halloween is, by the bible's teachings, a "detestable" practice. Why do it? Can anyone reasonably back a claim that says we are to do this as Christians? I would like to hear from you. I look forward to your replies. God bless you all, -Wild20

Drums, Religion, And Demons? How it will effect us.
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
But again Wakelim, let me remind you that the drums of the bible, were differentthen the drums of today. I may be assuming, but the person who wrote the book is not. Maybe you should at least read it once, just see what you think, it is called Drums, Rock, and Worship: Modern music in todays church. I think you will find it fascinating. -
Pet/animal Care Forum Online veterinary advise

Hey listen, thanks for your help. I actually have checked the foot and continue the daily changing of wrapings. I don't use hydrogen peroxide a lot, just once a day during changes so as to clean the foot. I also use rubbing alcohol once a day, as was suggested by a bird expert in the poultry site forums. I then, as usual, put the neo on, then wrap the foot back up. Its lokking good. I may not need the antibiotics. I heard that early treatment like this can stop the infection. Thanks again,-Wild20 -
Hi. It seems fine to me. I did notice a few mistakes, but it seems great to me. I have some tips. When writing, try to group your ideas. Don't jump around a lot. It makes it seem hurried and that you were not concentrating very well. If you write a draft first, you can look over your paper and see what needs to be changed.Proper marks is the key. Remember to use a comma in the proper place and put the correct mark at the end of a sentence. Use quotes whenever writing about a book title or publication. It is very important to also remember your possessive words. Like this: Jim's food, Wendy's ball, Stevens' castle. Did you see that I did not do a "s" after the mark there, that is because it ended with a s. You probably know all this stuff. But I am just jogging your memory.Hey, tell us when you improve so we can express our congrats to you! Have a great day!

I have a question. Do you need a prescription for the antibiotic, Streptomycin? I have a chicken that is fighting bumblefoot. I changed perches and every day, I have been putting on new wrappings after cleaning the foot with Hydrogen Peroxide, than putting neosporen on under neath. There is no more puss and the foot has not swelled anymore. It seems to be healing well. Can you help me? -
Drums, Religion, And Demons? How it will effect us.
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Okay. Let me make myself more clear. The drums are NOT possessed, so please remove that idea from your head. Let me go over this again. The drums were originated in west africa, were used to call up some sort of spirits, which has to be the devil, and are not the same as used in a bible. The drum set of today has a special bat, that no drums in the bible times could play. That is what is different. -

What Would You Do If You Met God,..right Now. Well?
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Danieluchis:You have a good point on whether why hell exists. But the ansewr is simple. As a just God, God cannot allow the people without Him, who are lost and are sinners, to go without punishment. How just would He be then?Hell exists because God has to be just and fair and bring punishment to sinners. But we have Jesus who paid for our sins, and although we are still sinners, we have the assurance of eternal life. Hell actually HAS to exist. -
Same here. I use Gmail only for perspnal use. I use yahoo which has plenty of storage for newsletters if you delete them every once in a while. Gmail is great for letters that are small. Like family. But I would not suggest anyone use it for longer messages. You can also get a program for you computer that makes it a web hard drive stored in email format.

I like geocities for file storage. For instance. If I ran out of space, I could set up my navigation links to geocities, and routing them to other sites as well, making my site a multi hosted domain. I could use geocities to store images, files, scripts, and link to it whenever I need them. Now, that doesn't mean I will degrade to that low status, but I will use it for storage if needed. So, although I don't like it, I can still use it for some things.

Wow, thanks for that information. I would paste everything and anything during my websurfing! It is dangerous. The technology they have these days is just plain scary. Even if it is only a script. I sure hope other people are somewhat aware of this. Probably not though. Thanks again. -

Drums, Religion, And Demons? How it will effect us.
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Why take the chance? It is dumb I think, to play with your spritual life. The board itself may not be possessed, but it was originated for evil purposes. I will not risk it on something so immature. And by the way, what do you think "powers" the coard. Or will you also tell me that it is a natural evolutionary process. -
Have You Ever Been To The Rocky Mountains? Have you?
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Man, thanks guys. I always like to bring a topo. I also have experience in orienteering. If that is how you spell it. Anyway, I actually did think Glacier was cool. I have heard about the ski areas in Colorado. I would love to visit one someday, as I love to ski. I have been though the appalachians too. Stayed in them once on a trip. Thanks for the info guys. -

Yes that is it Biscuit. An Ouija Board. And let me ask you, how does it get off the ground? It is utterly foolish to deny that there is supernatural beings out there. Therefore, there must be a good side and bad. And Cerb, you say that God has to okay possession by a demon. You are right. When you deny God, you are saying, I don't want to be with you. You are either on one side, or the other, not in an in between area. So by denying God, He is forced, to allow you to be taken over. Not that you will, but He cannot protect you any more, unless you still have a hold on Him. He doesn't force you to be with Him, but without Him, you are now playing the other side. And yes, even a pastor is not without risk. He is still human. -
Hi there. Glad to have you onboard. I think you will find trap 17 a great hosting option for your sites. As mike said, get your credits. I would highly recommend the 30 credit one. Because in order to upgrade to the 30 credit you have to have to get 30 more credits. This means that you have to get a total of 40 credits. It is easier to be patient. Well, again welcome aboard.-Wild20

Nuclear War Scenarios ...who will start it?
wild20 replied to brainless's topic in General Discussion
I think it is dumb. No one should have nuclear power. We have enough to destroy the world two times over! Do you see a problem with that?! There are too many people out there that are NOT responsible. Lets say a nuclear war broke out. We would have to destroy everything that5 shot at us. There would be countries destroyed left and right. Food would be scarse, almost nothing would be okay to eat or drink because the aftermath would be the world filled with radiation from the nuclear bombs. If China does destroy tons of cities, I know that we will destroy cities at twice the rate, and we will also be left vonurable if we use too many. Russia, iran, most likely iraq, and china have a good ammount of nuclear power. We underestimate their power. Even if we have more than they, the US can only hold so much nuclear blasts before it is one big whole in the ground. I say, end the nuclear programs. It will ease a lot of strain between countries. That is my two cents worth. I just think its a BAD idea. -
This just popped into my head right now. I searched the forums and could find nothing on rocky mountains. So, here I am asking, have you ever been to the rocky mountains? What was your experience. I love the mountains, and like to hike and mountain bike. If you have not been to the rockies, have you been to any at all? Have you even seen mountains before? I have gone through those mountains, but only when moving. I have stayed in Montana for a while on a trip, but that is about it. They are beautiful! Anyway, tell about your experience, maybe when you went, and for how long, if you stayed at all. I await your reply, thanks.

And may I also add that ALL the things advertised are true, except better. Xisto is the best free hosting I have ever come across. It has cpanel with pre-scripts such as fantastico. It also has shopping cart systems for running a business I guess. You have custom error pages. And you also have site builders such as wordpress and templates like template express. I hope this answers your question. I love showing off Xisto. It is awesome! Have a great day guys.

Drums, Religion, And Demons? How it will effect us.
wild20 replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
Okay, you guys are a little mixed up. Let me rephrase. It is where jazz and rock and roll come from and their original meaning. Thats the problem. And drums mentioned in the bible were a little different. They were nothing like the drums today. And I didn't say all drums, I said the TRAP SET.OCAC: Are you saying than, it is okay to kill to better understand god's creation, or watch porn, to better understand creation? That argument can be applied to many different things.Biscuit: Did I say I was afrain? Maybe scared, but not in a way that is fearful! And I am talking about two spirits. Yes, the spirit of the drum, and the other, a spiritual spirit. The person who said this, actually said, it was a evil angel. There is a board, I can't remember it's name, that you put your hand on it, it rises off the floor and you ask questions and text appears to answer it. This is the devil. Now will you say that it is okay to mess round with it? That the board won't possess you simply by touching it? You are being to skeptical. You can't believe everything you hear, like UFOs, but you must at least research, the ones that could mess with your eternal life.
