  1. Very nice post for a first tutorial, though I question your word choice of "hack". Hacking refers a side-effect, or loophole, in the code in which the user may benefit from it in some way. What you've described I don't think is hacking since there are built-in functions to do them.

However, these tips and tricks are very nice. Keep up the good work.

No, you are wrong, HACK is definitely the right word and so is Tweaks, Tips and tricks. As by the Dictionary.com -

    Hack verb (used with object)

Computers. to devise or modify (a computer program), usually skillfully.

And this is EXACTLY what this is doing, modifying the computer and doing it skillfully. It's just that normal people have a mis consumption of hacking as movies like War Games and other generally computer movies where they hack banks and hack the government. Also, I'm a Semi-Pro WordPress Developer and when you modify some html, and do something backend, its called a 'Hack'. Anyways , now you know. :P BTW I said called it whatever you want in the beginning because I knew it will come down to this. :P And I also know there are built-in functions, mostly for this one but the Part 2 will have extreme hacking for techies.

Thanks, on the comment though. ;)

  2. Nice one, Omega. I do photoshopppin' like you do too (freestyling, nice word lol). I can only see the first one that says 'GamerZ Law' and can't see the other ones, maybe you can upload them to tinypic.com and share it with us. @GamerZ Law - First of all, I like the render and it looks like a fps game most probably counterstrike . The hue levels can be adjusted in my opinion. The red color part below the gun is too brighter, you can edit it out with an airbrush or set the color balance to make it to a golden glow to adjust with the sig

  3. Thanks. I'm going to add the removal of shortcut arrow and the registry edits too! And How to hack the Peek button and Hack Aero Theme also. And about the 'annoying UAC' I explained about the Malware stuff , i don't think you saw though ;)

User Access Control or simply UAC is a new feature in Windows Vista and now in Windows 7. It prompts up a fadeout screen every time the computer needs your permission to preform a access. It is supposed to guard you against Malware, Spyware and Virus problems, annoying you the whole way. It pops up everytime you open a program or open up a game. Tired of it? Well, now you can do this to stop it.

  4. I have a iPhone 3GS and yes it is very much expensive but it has good quality which makes up for that. You can get a iPhone and you can unlock if you want, nobody is going to say anything. Except, your warranty is not guaranteed. Also, I think you guys AND GUYS (and gals ;)) get the idea that your iPhone gets 'Bricked', im an iPhone Expert and i can tell you thats just a myth, if you encounter any problems due to jailbreaking it, there is always a way. I once had a black screen on my iPhone for about 3 months and I had to use my old phone :P and then someone on AIM told me to my iPhone and put in rice for a while, and I thought he was crazy and wanted to ruin my iPhone, but anyways I thought 'Its not working anyway, wants going to happen if i do put it?'.

I took little box (shoebox should work) and filled it with unboiled rice and laid my iPhone in there and covered it with rice, and the next week (yes, the NEXT WEEK, this process takes long), I took it out and TADA it started working again! Any hardware problem can be fixed by taking it to the Apple Service Store or by putting in Rice for a week or so (use this only for spills and such).

I have jailbreaken my iPhone 3g and also my iPod 2Generation and both of them got jailbroken without a problem. Go to blackra1n.com and connect your iPod/iPhone and click 'Make it Ra1n' and it should be jailbroken in about 2mins. It is very fool proof and works 100% for all versions of the iPhone and iPod.

You are saying that most of the Apps on the Android Marketplace is FREE, guess what? Most of the Apps on the Application Store are also free, they may not have the same quality as the paid apps but still they are good like the BING , OPERA MINI and FACEBOOK APPS. Also, if you Jailbreak your iPhone you can go to Cydia Store and get a APP called 'Installous' (google it) and you can get PAID APPLICATIONS FOR FREE (everything on the App Store for free). But using INSTALLOUS IS ONLY FOR TESTING PURPOSES AND TO FIND A APPLICATION YOU WANT AND PLEASE DELETE AND BUY IT YOURSELF AFTER YOU TEST IT! SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS.

The iPhone also has a Sleek look and the awesome APPLE logo on the back (it does matter :P). I have also found the iPhone OPERA MINI browser to be the fastest mobile browser. Also, the iPhone is constantly updated and it keeps getting better and better. Oh, and I'm a Apple Fanboy but not that much biased opinions. If you decide on getting a iPhone, PM and I will give you more information.

  5. Note: Before I start this tutorial want to tell you guys that I take absolutely no responsibility if you go beyond the limit (which you won't if you use your brains) and do something that screws up your computer. None of the tips and tips and tweaks or whateveryouwantocallthem are illegal or require any downloading. Some basic stuff in this tutorial. Everything will be in the Windows 7 Operating System itself. Nothing for you techies here, go way :P

    Why this tutorial?

Did you just but the new Windows 7 OS that everyone is talking about recently? The one that your friends and family have been gloating about? Opened the package and installed with the CD to find out that you want MORE? Then, this is the tutorial for you, because thats exactly what I felt after I installed.

    What you've learn :

    God Mode

    Hack Your Wallpaper

    Hack Annoying UAC

Modify the Start Menu (three of 'em)

    Lets Get it Started :

    God Mode -

I bet when you saw God Mode, you immediately thought the Video Games God Mode where you never die or have unlimited HP nor does it give infinite battery power life or lets you hack into your neighbor's WIFI. It basically displays every option in the Control Panel in a nice and organized way. You might want to do this if you change your settings alot or don't like go to the control panel.

    1. Right Click on the desktop

    2. Create a new folder with the name {ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

    3. You'll find a folder with the name 'God-Mode' in the desktop with a monitor icon.

    4. Open the folder and find every option you can imagine.

    Hack Your Wallpaper -

When install Windows 7 , you are firstly prompted with some settings such as Language and Time. These settings affect the kind of wallpapers that you find in your computer (believe it or not). So, can you find the theme packs for United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, India, Australia in your computer? I know I can, because i did this simple trick.

    1. Open up the Start Menu

    2. Enter ' C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT '

    3. You will see a window with some theme packs with names like MCT-AU, MCT-CA, MCT-GB, MCT-US, and MCT-ZA. Each subfolder has wallpapers for a specific country: AU for Australia, CA for Canada, GB for Great Britain, US for the United States, ZA for South Africa and so on.

    4. Select the countries that you want and open them.

    5. Exit all the windows

    6. Go to Desktop > Right Click > Personalize > Select the theme pack

    Hack the Annoying UAC

User Access Control or simply UAC is a new feature in Windows Vista and now in Windows 7. It prompts up a fadeout screen every time the computer needs your permission to preform a access. It is supposed to guard you against Malware, Spyware and Virus problems, annoying you the whole way. It pops up everytime you open a program or open up a game. Tired of it? Well, now you can do this to stop it.

    1. Start Menu > Control Panel > User Accounts and Family Safety

    2. Choose User Accounts > UAC Settings

    3. A bar-like level thing should be found on the screen.

    4. This is the tricky part, each level does a different action. Choose the one that most suits you.

    Always Notify me

This is the UAC that is in Windows Vista. When you make changes to your system, when software is installed or when a program tries to make a change to your system, a popup notifies you.

Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer

This is the default option, found when you first install it. When a program makes a change, a prompt appears and your desktop goes dark, just like it does in Vista.

Notify me only when programs try to make changes to my computer (do not dim my desktop)

This is the same on as above without dimming the screen, on a pop-up.

    Never notify me

It never popups or annoyings, but comes with a risk, you are prone to many types of Virus and Malware. Highly unrecommended by Microsoft. Highy recommended by ME.

    5. Choose the option you want.

    6. Save it and reboot.

    Modify the Start Menu

Search the Internet from the Start Menu -

This option allows you to browse through search results in the start menu. Its very convenient and you don't have to open up a browser to search something fast.

    1. Open up Start Menu

    3. Enter ' GPEDIT.MSC '

    3. Go to User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar

    4. Add Search Internet link to Start Menu

    5. You should see 'Search the internet' in the start menu search bar now

Change the Shut down button -

The default action of the Start Menu's Shut down button is to turn off your PC. If you want to make the button do somethign else like restarting your PC, you click the arrow to the right of the Shut down button and select an action from the drop-down menu.

What if you never shutdown your computer but always make it to go to sleep mode? You can change the Shut down button's default action to be Sleep -- or Switch user, Log off, Lock, Sleep or Hibernate.

To change this option, right-click the Start button and select Properties. Inside the Start Menu tab, go to Power Button Actoin and select the ' Sleep ' option to be the default. Click OK and again click OK.

Add Video Library to Start Menu -

When you open your start menu you see the Pictures, music and documents option but not the Video option. This may come up handy if you have alot of movies in your computer and want to access them fast.

    1. Right-click the Start button and select Properties.

    2. On the screen that appears, go to the Start Menu tab and click Customize.

    3. In the small window that appears, go to the button and find 'Video' now set the option to ' Display as a link ' .

    4. Restart your computer.

I hope you like this tutorial. Its my first attempt at a tutorial :P. Don't flame please. If I get postive response I might consider making more. ;)

  6. This episode was really good in the beginning while Stan was trying not to use facebook and getting blamed from Wendy for not added the relationship and friends (especially Randy's part was really funny) and I think the people who made South Park (writers, directors (does it have directors?) ,etc. ) should have made effort to keep up the second half of the Episode to make it more funny. The whole episode was ruined for me by the webcam taking him into Facebook and the lack of music (did you notice that? I did). But the lonely Sid guy was a good addition, and especially the ending was really good. I hope they will start making CLASSIC South Park from the late 90's and really 2000's again. ;)

  7. i want to say the same as you said about internet explorer 6 and the hell thing, but i will be more nice and say, go to heaven, and stay in peace internet explorer 6. as long as you will stay far away from us.

god, internet explorer 6 is a pain for every web designer, every simple change in layout looks well in all browsers except internet explorer 6. i wonder why? can't microsoft do something to make it reasonable like other browsers, any way, thank you microsoft to finally makes our life easier.

Yeah, Maybe i should have added the heaven thing. Cause I used to like Internet Explorer 6 too! ;) Too bad you can't edit posts here.

As, I stated to abazi16 early, if you are using a CMS (Mambo, Wordpress , Joomla ,etc. ) there are many great themes and plugins that can help you a great deal for designing web sites for yourself and those of your customers (if you have any).

Well, think of it, Internet Explorer 6 was released back in August 27, 2001 and in those days it was the BEST! There was no Firefox trouble, in fact i don't really think that firefox existed back in 2001. It was also included as the main browser in the Windows XP OS (which is undoubtedly the most used OS of all time) and many people (like abazi's friends) didn't care about which browser they were using as ALL the browsers were pretty much the same plain old thing. All they did was view pages and pages and pages. :P 'NORMAL 2001 People ' didn't really want a cluttered looking browser with plugins and stuff, they wanted it to work great right out of the box, which IE6 definitely did. So, you can't really blame Microsoft for this, as they did what they could do to make the best browser at the time.

This version of Internet Explorer is widely derided for its security issues and lack of support for modern web standards, making frequent appearances in "worst tech products of all time" lists, with some publications labeling it as the "least secure software on the planet."[2] Campaigns have been established to encourage users to upgrade to newer versions of Internet Explorer or switch to different browsers, and some websites have dropped support for IE6 entirely, most notable of which is Google's drop of support.

It was the most widely used web browser during its tenure (surpassing Internet Explorer 5.x), attaining a peak in usage share during 2002 and 2003 in the high 80s, and together with other versions up to 95%. It only slowly declined up to 2007, when it lost about half its market share to Windows Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox between late 2006 to 2008.

IE6 remained more popular than its successor in business use for more than a year after IE7 came out.[18] A DailyTech article noted, "A Survey found 55.2% of companies still use IE 6 as of December 2007", while "IE 7 only has a 23.4 percent adoption rate".[18]

Net Applications estimated IE6 market share at almost 39% for September, 2008.[19] According to the same source, IE7 users migrate faster to IE8 than users of its predecessor IE6 does. This led to IE6 once again becoming the most widely used browser version. During the summer and fall of 2009, 8 years after its introduction, IE6 still held the top spot in terms of browser marketshare.[20]

As of February 2010, estimates of IE6's global market share ranged from 10-20%.[21][22][23] Nonetheless, IE6 continues to maintain a plurality or even majority presence in the browser market of certain countries, notably China[24] and South Korea.[25][26]

As of January 29, 2010, Google announced it will begin phasing out support for Internet Explorer 6 web browser. Beginning March 1, 2010, Google's Web based applications and services will stop working well with Internet Explorer 6.[27][28] YouTube announced that it will no longer support IE6 beginning on March 13, 2010.[29]

  8. Social networks are everywhere today and it's not just the individuals hopping onto every network possible. Every "thing" seems to be having a presence on these networks today-websites, companies and what not- all of them are building up profiles on social networking sites. Their intention is to stay in touch with their visitos/customers, etc. but isn't this a bit too much?! Facebook pages for the silliest things and twitter pages for every other company and website - is this all worth the trouble? Yes a lot of enthusiastic people do follow these pages but does the interest hold after a while? It's become some sort of tradition to have these pages - all this seems really funny. It's true that people like these networks but they don't want to use them in this way, do they? Yes there have been some cases where this has proved useful but they are far and few. I just think it would be best if social networks were limited to real people and not every other "thing" :P

Why Facebook is a waste of time? Well, I really don't follow those, except every once in a while. :( I don't even go in there once a week. :( Its not that addicting as you might think. I have like 50 friends (which i all know in real life) and i still don't think i should go in there, if you have a lot of friends, maybe pay for a better phone service (unlimited) and talk with them all you want or txt them. Or just use Skype. :P When people started using Orkut as a site for social networking, no one ever felt that these sites were really a waste of time. :D It has been many years since Orkut was launched, and the site is still being used effectively by many. As the purpose of those who wanted to develop an online network in society is already solved, sites like facebook might not stand out now as anything new and wonderful. It is really a waste of time for people to spend time on sites like facebook, but many people are eager enough to know about others and befriend as many people as possible. They are delighted to meet friends, and enjoy sharing many things with them. Facebook might not be boring or a waste of time for them. ;)

Probably, these types of sites can be made use of to develop business relationships with the friends, and sometimes get to know each other more closely. Some people disagree that these sites will aid in maintaining business contacts, but it is correct to block online social networking sites like Orkut and facebook in offices while people are at work, as well as in class rooms. It is definitely a waste of time for them to be browsing Facebook instead of doing their work. It really diminishes the productivity of the company.Of course, the profile of a person in Facebook will enable you to know more about the person, as well as his or her profession. It is not always necessary for everyone, all the time, to know about anyone personally and professionally, unless it is essential on personal grounds.Facebook might be useful for the part of the population who are interested in lavishly spending time without any focus. It will be a waste of time for those who are engrossed in their office work or business, or busy making money online. :(

  9. My Vote: Let it burn in hell! Because of all the bad memories I have with this application... I couldn't visit two sites a day without getting an error or when it worked it all of a sudden just stopped working.
And as a hobby I design web pages and I know it's impossible to have support for IE6 without destroying your design :".
So, IE6 goodbye for ever, please don't make any trouble in Application Heaven or Program Hell or wherever you're going.

I also have many bad memories with this APP too! But i didn't get that much of errors, maybe you have registry problems or you have malware/virus trojan problem. Try CCleaner and Avast Home Edition to try and clear those up.

You should get some plugins for designing with IE6, but the trouble isn't over yet, YOU STILL HAVE TO DESIGN FOR IE6 :P Just because support is discontinued doesn't mean that people will stop using it. Many people are still using it without the knowledge of better browsers like firefox and you are still doing long hours to design for IE6. I say that YOU discontinue support for IE6. Add a code to say,'This site is not Internet Explorer 6 compatible :P

So don't count on it yet, but soon.... ;)

  10. "Well, well well," that's pretty good. I would have to say I almost had another thought in mind with the joke, but not everyone probably would think about the "Verizon bar" commercials where they would make objects appear to be the bars shown on the phone (besides, they're going in the wrong direction anyhow).

Yay, i have seen the Verizon ads (on the buildings on stuff and they form a bar), but what does it have to do with wells? ;)

  11. Another earthquake!!

2012 Exposed: Earthquakes Today Part Of Circle Of Prophecy

<p>I don't know about this 2012 , but what I do know is there are way too many natural disasters hitting this world!! Another major earthquake brings the count to 5. Haiti, chile, mexico, nicaragua, and Japan. The first 4 have some sort of relation, japan I can see as a coincidence. None the less this worries me, what about you? </p>

    -reply by skeptic

Theyre not happening a lot more lately, :P youre just more aware of them than you used to be. A lot of it is just the media making much ado about nothing. You happen to see all the hype about the Hawaiian tsunami that DIDNT happen? ;) I take pride as a non-believer.The world isnt going to end, two movies and one guy shouting the end is near seems to make people believe before thinking.I read some days ago a report based on these recent earthquakes. Scientist explain that this is something usual after a great earthquake. Now, remember 1960 in Chile, 9.5, strongest earthquake ever. 50 years after, were all on our feet.Nothing can determine why do tectonic plates move, it just happens. It is something as natural as the rain.Furthermore, scientists are in some way impressed that there havent been more strong aftershocks.Stay calm, the world has been on its own for 4.500 million years, many changes have occurred, what tells you it wont keep changing? :P

  12. Spring happens to be one of my favorite seasons. I love the sights and sounds that make up this beautiful season of life {kids playing outside, mud pies at the ready, puddles to jump in, rubber ice to race across, new life in the animal world, the movement in agriculture towards sowing and reaping?.. the list could go on}.On this particular day I was motivated to clean, all in an effort to prepare for the gorgeous long days ahead. I am proud to report that our home is now whistling along with me, every nook and cranny has been attended to, the doors and windows have been flung open to welcome this much needed change. Indeed, in so many areas of life ?Spring has Sprung?.

  13. New Earthquake, after the Cali-Mexi Quake. A 7.8 magnitude earthquake has happened Indonesian island of Sumatra and triggered a local tsunami watch. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake struck before dawn Wednesday. It was centered about 205 kilometers northwest of the island, 46 kilometers under the Indian Ocean.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says a local tsunami watch has been issued, but a widespread destructive tsunami is not expected.
There is no word yet on damage or casualties. But witnesses report a power blackout on Simeulue Island, west of Aceh province.

Sumatra is the largest Indonesian island. A 9.1 magnitude quake struck off Aceh in December, 2004, triggering a historic tsunami that killed 226,000 people.

Indonesia is located in the Pacific Oceans so-called Ring of Fire, where the continental plates meet. This creates conditions for frequent earthquake and volcanoes from Asia to the American Pacific coasts.

  14. i have reading some posts online from different companies stating that windows have made major advancements in many aspects of the software provided. but my question is"is it truly worth the value and does it have any updates like service packs?" also can my computer run it or will it only wreak a negative effects?specs:
    3.03 processor
    512 ram
    32 bit
    256 video card
    thanks in advance

Windows 7 is totally worth the buy. It is fast to install and fun to use. I have been using the Ultimate Retail Edition which i got from Best Buy, for about 2 months now. All the programs that work on XP, work on Win7 for sure, so don't worry about compatibility. It also has a bunch of visual pleasing upgrades from XP and Vista. Check of the review for Windows7 here : http://gizmodo.com/5330609/windows-7-review-you-can-quit-complaining-now. I hope you make the switch. :P

Processor clock speed is fine. I advise you to get more RAM (2GB) for better performance, and a better video card if you want to use the Aero theme. Other than that, your fine (I guess). I think your better off getting atleast a 1GB or so ATI Radeon or NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT, otherwise your going to be using the 7 Basic theme.
Make sure also your BIOS can run the setup if you burn Windows 7, otherwise, suffer an endless reboot loop. ;)

I have Windows 7 Ultimate on my Desktop which is about 6 Years old now. And it running smooth as silk :P Aero is normal and fast. You don't need that much of a graphics, 256 is good, just get your ram to about 2GB. Im thinking of getting a new Desktop soon, for now, Im gonna stick to my Laptop though.

    Specs:

    2.93 GHz
    1.50 GB Ram
    512 Nvidia 5000-sumthing
    32 bit

  15. I would recommend removing any OS you have now and installing Linux instead, as it's a much more compatible server operating system. Ubuntu Server Edition (  www.ubuntu.com/GetUbuntu/download/)is probably a good distribution to use, if your computer can handle it. This comes with all the software you need for a basic Web server. First we need a a computer, an operating system, a domain name, a name server and an IP address. You can acquire all the above using your myCENTS from XISTO. If your ISP has the use of static IP addresses then you have to connect your domain with your static IP address. This is done using a name server. Some domain registration services will provide this service for you, such as XISTO. If your computer can not handle static addresses, you can create a free account at https://www.zoneedit.com/ and have their nameservers direct your domain name to your static IP address. Next, we gotta install APACHE ,this can be done using the from the command-line (cmd) or by the Synaptic Package Manager. To operate the Synaptic Package Manager, click on the System menu, select Administration and click on Synaptic Package Manager. Enter your password if it asks for it. Click on the Search toolbar button and type in for apache2 and search for it. After the search completes, the Apache 2 Server should be listed in the Synaptic window. Click on the toggle next to the Apache server and select Mark for installation. Finally, click on Apply in the toolbar to begin the install. To install Apache from the command-line start a terminal window (Applications->Accessories->Terminal) and run the following command at the command prompt:

    sudo apt-get install apache2

Now we have to check if this all works out. To verify the web server is up and running, do this: *Open up Firefox *Type 127.0.0.1 in the address bar If the browser loads up a page, it works! Congrats on making it this far! Now we have to configure the Apache Web Server for your domain. Which can be found on the internet, anywhere basically. But here is one that is very easy to follow : http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Sorry, i couldn't help you out on Skype early, but have any problems? Just PM me or post a reply on this topic and I'll be glad to help or add me on Gtalk ;). 16. 7.2 EARTHQUAKE ROCKS BAJA CALIFORNIA

The above image is from an NOAA weather satellite and shows dust rising into the air from a powerful earthquake that hit the Baja peninsula this afternoon. Initially the quake, which struck along the California border just outside of Mexicali, Mexico, was rated a magnitude 6.9 but the intensity was quickly increased to a 7.2.

    The AP reports:

"It was the largest earthquake in the region in nearly 18 years and was followed by aftershocks or distant "triggered" earthquakes on both sides of the border, said U.S. Geological Survey seismologist Lucy Jones.

A multistory parking structure collapsed at the Mexicali city hall but no one was injured, said Baja California state Civil Protection Director Alfredo Escobedo.

Other early reports indicated only minor damage, but communication in the region more than 100 miles southeast of Los Angeles is often slow."

A series of quakes followed the 7.2 shake, including a 3.0 centered off the coast of Malibu.

I totally felt this one!!! Ok, i was sitting in my dorm just studying for my exams when I hear this WHOOOSH and then I turned facing the window and I see the opposite buildings colliding with my building (it didn't actually do that, that was just my brain going into adrenaline/get the f*** out of here mood. Anyway, no one i know of was injured.

See, its happenin' man..its real... :P Just joking...but the earthquakes are coming back again...like they always do. ;)

  17. (Was going to suggest Janime, but that's taken..)

If you want to make an anime download site there are a few main pointers:

J usually indicates anime/japanese culture based site.

X usually indicates a download site.

Animex and J-Anime are already taken, but what about:

    AnimeJ - Notice rhyming :P

    Xanime

    Mangax

    .etc.

A bit corny but the names stick. Whenever I want free episodes of something, I usually type in the show's name followed by an X before I go on torrent sites. Just an idea. ;)

good ideas, Phil. But these aren't really name though you got me thinking. I don't think I want it to be J something because I want it to be site appealing to US users.

    Thinks I came up with:

    WatchXanime.com

    Nothing else that is good.....

Btw, Xanime is a porn site :P . Keep the good ideas coming!!!

  18. It all comes down to if you have more time than money. I have more money than time but I did camp out for the Wii only because Christmas was drawing near and when it ran out of stock it would take months before another window opened up to get one. iPad seems however to be pretty atuned to the demands right now. My biggest question is whether first if the iPad presales are comparable to the iPhone opening day sales. Secondly if it is comparably good, does this mean that there wont be the price drop that they had speculated on the Charlie Rose show. I think they said to expect a price drop after the first 60 days but if its doing well would they really drop it at all? I would imagine they would want to keep it up until past the holiday season.

the iPad is a useless device that will only appeal to Apple fanboys and trend following sheep.

That is what they said of the iPhone when it first was released. Yet 42.5 millions sold as of 1Q 2010 (wikipedia.com)

Can you use an iPad on an overcrowded train when youre not even sitting down?

Neither can I use my 42 inch flat panel LCD TV in my car. Its not intended for that environment.

Can you fit an iPad into your pocket?

What?! Neither can I put my laptop in my pocket either. But that doesnt make it any less useful to me.

Does an iPad offer anything revolutionary in comparison to a laptop?

Straw man argument. Its not intended to replace your laptop. It is intended to be a supplemental entertainment device. It is not suppose to replace anything. If you dont like the device, then dont buy one. But to call those who choose to purchase one stupid fanboys is uncalled for. What do you care what other people purchase anyways? Are you this opinionated about what choice people make in the cars they purchase? The TVs they buy? The kind of haircut they get? These things say just as much about a person as the type of computer they buy. Yet you and others here seem to delight in focusing on this one decision people have made. Ive been praising on the iPad in almost every article. But Im also not naive enough to think that someone even Google is going to come in and conquer it. Ive played with plenty of iPhones. Theyre a beautiful product. The iPad is likely equally impressive.Im just not that enamoured with tablets in general. Slightly more convenient, slightly less capable, and slightly more expensive. Thats not revolutionary, thats a consumer trade off weve been dealing with for years.

It's great that Apple has finally made a device like the iPad. ;)

  19. I will change the theme once I upgrade the forums to v3.
As for the reputation mod, I m sick of getting outside modules who do not give any support. And each time the forum version changes, the reputation system is lost. I m planning to code a general "thank you" system. Members can thank each other leaving a personal note. And there will be a page for each member showing the no. of thanks he received along with Post information, Date and Name of the person thanking.

And when are you going to upgrade into IPB 3.0 ? Its been there for years now! There are wonderful tutorials on the net telling how to upgrade to V3! I hope you can upgrade it within the next few WEEKS! You can do the thank you system later, after we upgrade.

Why upgrade from IPB 2.3.5 to 3.0.x?

3.0 is a complete rewrite with a new ACP, better skinning system, better mod system, more Web 2.0 features (i.e. AJAX all over, especially in the ACP), and other minor improvements in almost every area. 2.3.5 has security bugs.

  20. I can make a custom theme just for trap.. err..I mean.. Xisto...

may I direct you to this post

That theme/skin is that good. I FOUND A TOTALLY AWESOME ONE THAT WOULD MATCH Xisto PERFECTLY. Actually, i have 2 of them. Both of them are color-based skins from Invisionize which is a most trusted IPB theme website that provides themes for free.

    Just Like IPB 3

    Short Description

IPB 2.3 skin for those who like the new IPB 3 style.

    Link: http://skins.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/8418

This totally fits the TRAP style website. I would 150% recommend this theme.

    Life's Lush

    Short Description

    Professional Blue and Green Skin.

This is a pretty good theme, but not as the first!

Who else wants the NEW Trap to have the the first theme? ;)

  21. Simply stopped working couldn't turn on, charge, sync etc "Bricked" (iPhone 3G 16GB black)

There is simply nothing called 'Bricked' in the iPhone world. Anything wrong with the software can be fixed by yourself or by sending it to the Apple Service Shop. This has happened to me a whole bunch of times, just search the internet and get advice in forums like modmyi.com or any other site dedicated to iPhone or iPod Touch.

    2) Fell out my pocket and I stood on ( a bit) (iPhone 3G 16GB black)

My phone has fallen down the stairs, few about 5 feet vertically when i dropped it, etc. nothing happened. The most i ever got on my phone was a tiny scratch on the edge of the screen (totally usable). Try putting a cover on it or stop being careless.

iPhone was completely *BLEEP*ed up. (iPhone 3G S 32GB white)

Dude, its your phone. Put it on a reachable table or something. Don't you get calls often? I do.

Currently my one now 2010 lets see what the future does (iPhone 3G S 32GB white)

Seriously, after breaking about 3 phones, that cost a fortune, you go out and buy another one? I would have got a 'normal' phone and waited it out for a better phone. I hope you don't break this one too. Good luck!

  22. Hello guys, I was thinking of maybe starting up a Anime website (with episodes and stuff) and I already decided what CMS to use for it but I just can't think of a GOOD name for it. I want it to attract a lot of people, who will keep watching anime on that site. I know i can do the designing part but i cant think of a name for it. I wanted it to be catchy and not to long...and was thinking of getting it as a .com site, as they usually attract more people that others, unless the name itself collides with the domain like pet.co or something. I hope you guys can think of something good, I'm not that creative, even the ones I though were good are already taken ;) . And please make sure that its already not taken before you suggest it. Thank you!
