A lot of this stuff depends on how good you are with computers. If you arn't to good with em, you should go for norton/mcafee anti-virus and zonealarm firewall. These are the easiest to use and very user-friendly. Only annoying thing is they are memory hogs.For advanced people, Its more of personal preference. I personally like avg anti-virus the best. Its very custamizable and has lots of features like Heuristic Analysis which helps find viruses that arn't in the virus definitions yet. Very nice tool.Then, for firewalls.... I use outpost firewall. It has many nice features and is also very custamizable. It has yet to fail me.Though those are the ones I use, I have no doubt there are others that work as well or better than the ones I mentioned. I have been meaning to try out Kaspersky anti-virus and peronel firewall. Someone said I think on this forum that its very nice and works exellent. So I am probably going to try those out and see how they compare with mine

rofl, its so true. I hate windows but i can't switch to linux because this is my familys computer and they wouldn't know what they were doing on linux. Have the time they don't know what their doing on windows :\ I usually don't get to many viruses unless I am spending a lot of time looking for hacking stuff. The most viruses found on one scan i think was like 14. Though most of those were just fun little tools for aim which allowed me to boot people off of aim or other things like that. Like what most of the other people said, as long as you go to normal sites like google, yahoo, abc, movies.com, etc..... you shouldn't pick up viruses

I would have to agree its very addicting. Though right now, I am beginning to not like it anymore. There are so many little glitches that totally make the game not fun anymore. Also, there are little cheap things like you can kill a teammate if they are at low hp to deny the opposing team a kill.I will probably continue to play it some, but if they don't fix these things soon.... I am probably going to stop playing it.Oh, and for your information Inspiron, version 6.10 is a fake. There are no new changes. Someone just modded the older version and changed it to make it look like a new one.

You said you did graphics.... but if you do any video stuff, you would really probably want a little bigger hdd. Mainly because video editting/storing takes up a lot of space. i like the specs of your computer. I am soon going to be making my own and will have a little issue with money, but I am probably going to be looking at similar specs

Wow, thats awsome. I never knew what the specs of the stuff they were going to put into ps3. This could be a very good move on sony's part. It could potentially make them very rich.... though they already are.Question, has anyone heard about a copyright infrigment on the ps2? My friends were talking about it. Thats actually incorrect. They made starcraft for Nintendo 64. The reason most people don't know about it is because the game is very rare. Some how my friend managed to get one. Thats how I know about it. I too can't wait for diablo III. I highly doubt that they would make it so that you have to pay monthly. If they did, they would have a lot less people buying it. This if my opinion, but if they make it... I think they will keep it on battle.net and not have their own servers like World of Warcraft. There has been talk about Starcraft II for along time. My friend in 8th grade knew a person that worked at blizzard and got a list of all the races and units for starcraft II. I do not know for sure if these were correct, but if it was.... Starcraft II is going to be the best computer game ever

I mainly use mirc downloads. They are way better then any of the other file sharing programs. This, you download the files from servers which usually have great speeds which makes for fast download. To find these downloads for mirc, just search google for irc search engines. My favorite is packetnews.comBit torrents are okay as long as you can find a nice server with good speeds, otherwise it just sucks.Kazza just sucks.

yes theres some artists that all they do is rap about smoking Pot, Drinking 40s and Fu*king hoes, but there are a lot that do not, like Common, Some Jay-Z, and most of 2-pac's stuff is about life, and then rappers/ hiphop artists, like ludacris, he may have some rhymes like that but it dont mean sh*t, and is just for the hell of it. And my friend is a rapper(well trys to be) and watching him, it is hard to make a beat that sounds good, and the rhyms to go with it, and that isnt a total joke, im not sayn im all about rap, i like all music, but this is just my opinion on this topic.

Im the biggest linkin park fan ever ive been likeing them since there first single " One Step Closer " in 2000 and i have bought every album since! and as for collsion course, all i can say is DAMN!!! one of the best colab's ever! and reanimation was also awesome, i normally hate remixes, but the way it was mixed and put togather, blew me away, every time theres a concert ne where near me i go to it lol, ive met the band like 3 times! just so u know its "Somewhere I blong" lol

For me, I like cs, halo, and rainbow six for shooter games. All 3 of them are all awsome but many would debate 1 over the others.... It is really more of a personal prefrence of which you like the best :\

Darkthrone is an awsome online game. It's fun and something to do when your bored, or when your at school. Though thankfully Im finally done with school for the year. I have been playing Darkthrone since the alpha version. They are curretly in the beta version which they made a lot of nice changes and additions from the alpha version. The omega version is going to be coming out very soon, like in 1-2 weeks. Im looking forward to a new challenge and new stuff they are adding.

jet is correct, there is no way you can be 100% safe. One way that you can protect yourself somewhat is never give out your information, especially to file sharing programs. I don't use kazza, so I didn't know that they have you fill in information. My suggestion would to look for other file sharing programs that doesn't require user info. My suggestion would be like eMule or use mirc downloads.
