1. Well, you can do a couple of things, in my opinion, which have possible outcomes: You can let this affect you and become attached to him again. And get hurt again, if he repeats the previous matter. And everything turns out well. Slightly hold your emotions and test him to regain any trust that was lost, if there was any trust that was lost. Depending on how you test him, he may start losing any interest that he has regained. Or find out that he hasn't changed a bit—and is just playing with you. I can't tell if he has come to realize that he needs you in his life and, if he has any pain, this is his way of coping with it or that he could just be messing around—which these are probably the same conclusions that you have come up with.

I think your ring analogy was better off with the no-start, no-end thing. For a line can have a beginning, and, i believe, even if it stretches for infinity. Meh, if i think too far into this i run into paradoxes.
3. Perhaps it was no mistake, but a way to please the percentage of those who don't believe in Him for how ever long it may be. Though if it were to please that percentage of people, i think they would have included "E Pluribus Unum" and would have just excluded "In God We Trust." But it is quite interesting that they didn't make a "test" coin before mass producing. There seems to be an equal amount of reasons for either side, so no clear answer may be given.
[1]A trap well set catches its prey?[2]Could you quote the Bible (with bbcoding, of course) next time, please? [3]I think tongues () are more suitable for jokes. Winks tend to be in a different sense.
4. You can try VirtualBox. Seems to be capable of emulating most popular operating systems, and it's free. It can also be runned on Linux.
5. Good! Glad to hear he's willing to keep in touch. May everything continue going well with you.
6. Please excuse the lateness. You may choose whichever one: This is actually a collab sig (which gives me an idea). Sylenzednuke did the text.
7. I guess i'll take part in this. Who says you can't make good sigs in the GIMP? Just the text...

Jealousy isn't a sin, it's what may come from it that is sin. If one covets someone else's stuff they may be inclined to steal them—sin. There is no hypocriticalness about those two commands. For since there is no other god besides God, God isn't really stealing anyone from any other god. For every other god is creation. [1]And you know this how?[2]He is not everything around us. But He is everywhere: Omnipresence. And you did not even take any time to get to know God, therefore you ask, "Where is He?" [3]Glad you provided some proof. [4]Ah, just like this entire post of yours. [5]Yes.
9. The "modified" one was the one on the left. Just noticed that it had scanlines in it since the beginning. And all this time i thought it was some glow-like effect on it. And yay for black borders.
I don't really know how an animated one would look like. I mean, the least one could do is have at least one thing fading; which would probably be either the text or the background; i don't think fading the border would be all that effective. For the Spam Patrol one it is much easier. Just have it like the Spam Patrol user bar that was created a long time ago: make it look like flashing police lights.
10. Well, i gotta ask just what kind of games are you interested in making? If you're planning on trying to makes games similar to commercial games, you're gonna be spending a LOT of money. Those people build from the ground up. They usually have a great deal amount of knowledge in Maya, 3DSM, Photoshop, C++, etc (JavaScript not included). I wouldn't call it a "skill," per se. But even the games that people complain about the graphics—that takes a lot of work to make.
11. The new insignia could use a black border. I just saw it on the default theme of the forums; it's a bit hard on the eyes.
12. Well, i'll try to do something in the GIMP. I wonder if these people cheated and used a WACOM. And you have to do the entire alphabet?
13. Looks better, in my opinion. Let's see them side to side: Yeah, definately the modified one.
14. That's pretty good. I would like to see how'd it look if the gradient behind the text "GFX CREW" were reverse.
15. Don't know. Let's go ahead and close it, shall we?
16. If i burn some of my music on a CD and use my PS2 to play it and ignore my friends when they tell me to meet them online, then i could go for 24 hours without a comp. However, for the sake of my friends and the fact that i don't feel like burning a CD, i'll continue using the comp for now.
17. http://skins.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/7388/size/lg This one looks nice—good color scheme—and doesn't take long to load up on my side.
18. I think this would be the best place to post about this. Here's a quicky of what i came up with that could replace the current GFX Crew Insignia: ; not much, but also something. What do you guys think: keep current, make a new one, wait for others to see what they can make, or go with this one?
19. That's cool that you can have different skins for different sections. But i personally am not fond of dark layouts like these—they're too.. dark. The hosted member's user names in the shout box are hard on the eyes. Are we allowed to suggest skins? This skin does seem a bit fitting for a GFX forum, though. The insignias stand out quite well in this skin.
20. Fireworks i don't have much knowledge on and i'm not really fond of it. Fireworks has its advanatages over the others, like simple special effects for objects, extra blending modes, hover effects for web page menus, it's vector-based (although you can export your work in raster formats), etc. It really is more for web design. Photoshop is more for graphic/art design, but many web designers use it for graphics-heavy sites. Photoshop can imitate vector-like images, but only in high resolutions (usually over 600dpi; the higher the resolution, the bigger the filesize). You'll find plenty of options in Photoshop that you won't find in the GIMP and in Fireworks. You have a lot of tools to work with, some of which you'll find in the GIMP and in Fireworks. Photoshop is also used in the game industry. Most—if not all—of the designs in several RPG, FPS, etc games are done in Photoshop. Same goes for game-case covers. The GIMP is basically a really trimmed down version of Photoshop—and i mean, really trimmed down. But you can still manage some pretty good designs in it. The main advantage of the GIMP over the other programs is that it is free. You can try it out yourself to get a better feel and understanding of the GIMP.
21. Got my HDD today and after installing Windows and all of its updates, i installed the GIMP and messed around with it. Decided to go with a template design, for i don't feel like going around downloading brushes right now. Anywho, it's nothing much, i just wanted to do a quicky. Oh how i wish the GIMP had more options for brushes and had the option to make group layers!
22. That's 'cause the user's posting ability was disabled as of this morning.
23. That actually took that many layers? I don't think i've ever made it that far with my sigs. Well, it's colorful. I personally don't like that kind of lighting, makes the sig look a bit pale, IMO. I can't tell if the border is one color or a gradient, but seems more of a gradient. Text is good, but i think a darker color would have been better.
24. Heh, once i get my new HDD, i'ma try to make something that can be compared to Photoshop work from the GIMP, since i will be forced to use the GIMP until i can get myself a copy of Photoshop.
25. The background is sharp and the text is blurry: clash. I'd try and make the text look like it's engraved in the background. Because of the effect given by the surrounding objects, the background looks like a concrete wall, which would be good for engraving the text in. And maybe sharpen up the gloves of the character. Other than that, good job.
