[1]This one is kinda a half-truth (i.e. a bit deceiving). The Bible says those who practice homosexuality, not insomuch being a homosexual. Is the hard part finding one who doesn't practice it?[2] Can we argue against this one? [3]Can you ask this person to define "other things"? [4]They say the road to Heaven is narrow. Good one.

@shadowx: One good reason for using dots instead of placing it all into a string is so you can call a function along with it. For example: $var1 = "Hello World!";$var2 = "I am at the foobar!";echo $var1." ".strtoupper($var2); //Would echo: Hello World! I AM AT THE FOOBAR!
No problem.
-
Back slashes (\) are used to escape characters, not forward slashes (/). You don't have to space everything out. It can be done like so: echo "Hello, $name"." ".$lname."!";
Side note: As a coding standard, one shouldn't make a "shortcut" when starting off their script; that is, don't "<?" but rather "<?php".
Indeed, may everyone have a great Easter day.By the way, nice image you have posted there Kasm.

In my opinion, the best one out of all of them is this one. Second best, in my opinion, would be this one—only 'cause of the colors; blurring the render didn't help the sig much. I suggest working on depth and adding borders to your sigs, for now. In the mean time, what program did you use to design these sigs? Am i right to assume Photoshop? I would also suggest downloading some brushes. Then maybe working on shadows, highlights, midtones, brightness and contrast.

Cigoth V.s Saint Michael -voting
truefusion replied to Cigoth's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
My vote goes to S_M.Although S_M's sig lacks a bit of contrast, in my opinion, it is well designed—nice render blending, simple yet effective.Cigoth, i think your sig could have been a bit more "splashed up" (if you will). The animation is a nice touch, but it doesn't resemble much of a fire feel. There's a lot of open room that could have been worked on. Nice contrast, btw. -
According to the information provided to us in your post, you had 4 credits yesterday. This seems to imply that, since you basically didn't mention anything further relating to your credits (e.g. it was 4.[something]), you have gone under the requirement for unsuspension, and so remain suspended. Reaching 4 credits doesn't necessarily mean that your account has been unsuspended the moment you reached 4 credits—it all depends on how much load was on the server at that time, and i'm sure some other factors.

You should upgrade to 6.10 (if possible and willing)! It is even better than 6.06. Well, not sure about Ubuntu, but Kubutnu 6.10 is better than 6.06. I dual-boot with Windows XP. I've tried other Linux Distros (Fedora, OpenSuSe, Enlightment, etc...), but, in my opinion, none compare with Kubuntu; i came across certain problems with the others—i never had a problem with Kubuntu. I'll post a screenshot of my current desktop when i get back into Linux.

I learned CSS the same way i learned HTML: i viewed other sites' source code and put things together—no tutorials; all at my time at home. Though, i increased my knowledge in it (i.e. building for standards) by looking up tutorials for it. And, like always, there's W3 Schools.

Atheist Are So God Forsaken Smug im totally serious
truefusion replied to mr ? impressive's topic in The Vent
[1]No, it's still not safe to say that the Christian God is accountable; here's another verse: Jeremiah 5:30-31.[2]Just because it was established by those who claim to be believers, doesn't mean it was established by God; here's another verse: Titus 1:16. [3]Were these villages the same ones that were sacrificing their own children to demons? Surely you can pull up the verses. (Which i have a feeling it's some of the same verses that Boozker pulled up.) [4]Evil people do evil things—whether or not it was done in the name of religion. I can't argue that it wasn't done in the name of religion; however, i can try my best to prove that it is against the teachings of my religion. [5]I agree with you there.
As for Boozker, All the verses you provided, i will try my best to address them all properly—but it'll take time, therefore i'll edit this post later. [1]Can you tell me the size of the population during that time or is "1/3 of the german population" all you can give me? I would like to know just what was 1/3 of the german population at that time.[2]Perhaps you skipped over the other posts that speak of such people doing so? [3]Strange, it was working when i posted it... But the owner of that site usually always posts references for all of his articles. Some people in the forum of that website know the author of the site personally and can tell you that he takes a lot of his time doing research for his articles before he posts one. [1]Yes, please send me that verse through PM or how ever you wish—we can discuss that verse through PM. [2]The Sabbath in the Jewish calendar is on Saturday. Sunday is a Christian thing. And that OT law is very strict for a reason—the people the law was given to were very stiff-necked people (Exodus 32:9); they needed very strict laws to cause enough fear to prevent them sinning (Exodus 20:20); however, the fear of God was not good enough, as we see through the OT, for they continued sinning—even sacrificing their own children to false gods. If you want to know of all of the evil acts they've committed, you can read the other prophetic books. [3]Do you know those who preach have a more strict judgment? Wouldn't you want to spare the women from a strict judgment? [1]First off, the words where the dots are in that verse change it's meaning of the verse. Secondly, there are plenty of Bibles out there that are specifically made suitable for children while maintaing accuracy in translation. And thirdly, you can't teach a child what is good or bad without telling them what is good or bad. Some children grow up in neighborhoods where killing is a common thing. [2]However, obviously there is something wrong here. If one is gonna teach others that killing in the name of God is a good thing, surely they should include proper teaching of justice. Also, showing mercy is a Biblical teaching. So then why do we hear that God brought judgment onto certain people? What people fail to hear also is that God was very patient with them before He brought them judgment, and such patience was to give them enough time to repent for their actions (Romans 2:3-5, 2 Peter 3:15).[3]He did not attempt to get rid of everyone. Like always, there is no mention on why God did so. Surely it's been repeated plenty of times—is that why it was not mentioned here? Or was it so you can make God look bad? Re-read the all the chapters relating to the time of Noah. [3:2]Mhmm. [4]No, i didn't. But why is it that i always hear about the Catholic Chruch, or Catholics? Surely there are Catholics out there that are not like the ones that you mention. [4:3] I think 4:2 would answer your own question. Also, probably that he claimed to be one of their own. Titus 1:16. [1]No i'm not. [2]I don't know, shall we take a look at history again? [3]In my opinion, those must be some children! I mean, to be able to understand everything and act properly by what they are told to do at that age, is really something. [4]I'm sure plenty of schools have seen all the things Hilter has done. [1]Many are told both sides, and the same are told that even those who claim to believe the same things can be evil.[2]I'll have you know that there are a lot of families out there that let their children choose. Many families believe that the best way for their children to come to the faith is by letting them choose. [2:2]They don't have to have beliefs force upon them to be called that. Many religions say that the children are part of that religion by birth; not insomuch that they believe the same things at the time. And i personally would never teach my children (i.e. if/when i have children) that Santa, the Easter bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and whatnot are real.
-

Atheist Are So God Forsaken Smug im totally serious
truefusion replied to mr ? impressive's topic in The Vent
(I chose not to quote the entire thing but leave a snapback to the post so to prevent any extra scrolling.) I must say, i never said that these acts were done in the name of "atheism," i merely just stated they were done by atheists. Watermonkey's post seems to cover your post quite well, though.
[1]This refers to Romans 13:1-5; however, how is it that many do not take notice of verse 4—in my opinion, the most important verse out of the five? [2]Obviously not one established by God. [3]Obviously no god at all—nothing but human authority. Another thing, please read Isaiah 54:15—guess Who's the One talking in this verse. [4]I could not understand a word of this video. However it was very disturbing watching it... Surely sending our troops there would be more beneficial for that area than where they currently are, would it not?
-
For Fireworks, i must say that's pretty good. I would recommend using a more advanced GFX program like the GIMP, for example. After installing the GIMP, you may wanna download some brushes for it. This would really improve your sig work. Also, you may wanna look up some sig tutorials to help you get a feel on some sig basics.

How Can I Make This Girl Friend...?
truefusion replied to naveenvt's topic in Dating And Relationships
Being yourself is always the best way of going at it. Never try to be someone you're not. Surely you've made friends with others by just being yourself, right? Why does it have to be different now? 'Cause you're in love? If she doesn't like you for who you are, then she can't be the one. The answer to these questions are usually always an easy one, yet love has a way of blinding us, making us a bit unstable, doesn't it? -
The Fastest Browser nice study has been done
truefusion replied to heavensounds's topic in The Internet
Opera gives you the ability to modify those settings in the preferences (if i'm not mistaken), under the Advanced tab, under Browsing, under Loading. Opera, for me, opens up about as fast as K-Meleon and Internet Explorer. Sometimes Internet Explorer takes a little longer to open up. After using Opera, Firefox, or any other quick-page-rendering browser, then going into Internet Explorer, everything feels slow. I have basically everything i need in Opera. The widgets are a nice addition, and with each new release of Opera, more and more websites become compatible—from whichever little are remaining; though i don't really run into problems with the websites i visit. But i admit that Opera takes quite a while to close, while the other browsers close almost instantly. By "close," i mean "it is no longer in the processes list in the task manager," not "the program is no longer viewable on screen;" however, it's not a big deal for me. -
Graphics Crew Application [Imtay22]
truefusion replied to Imtay22's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I'ma have to vote with a "no." Sorry dude, but an application with just sigs doesn't help much. That Halo sig is the best sig i've seen from you yet. When you're done with your layout and some other different work, you can improve your chances of getting accepted with them. Keep learning. -

Where do you get your information? Surely you can provide us with some proof by how sure you are in your post. Here's a good place to start reading. And, yes, atheists committed such killings mentioned by Misanthrope; however, that is just one group; Misanthrope excluded the others, which are a high number like that one as well. -
On And Off, Plus Indecision! Girls are silly.
truefusion replied to Johnny's topic in Dating And Relationships
The first quote, from what i get from it, implies that you're not really fond of on-and-off relationships. The second quote, from what i get from it, implies that you are thinking about keeping this on-and-off pattern alive. Am i translating this correctly? Which one is it, do you wanna keep the pattern going or stop it from continuing? You two can still remain friends, if that's possible, after agreeing to call it off all together. She might just go hook up back with her ex if you call it off, and i wouldn't be so quick into finding another person. If the relationship seems like the pattern is going to continue, then i guess you should call it off. -
You sure it's down? It is working fine for my site. Check again for your site, see if it's working now.

Gfx Crew And Other Credit Bonuses I think we should get a bonus
truefusion replied to BooZker's topic in Web Hosting Support
The spam insignias may have not been asked for, however there was a request in the request section of this forum for a spam patrol userbar. If i'm not mistaken, spam patrol was an idea placed together by a couple/few active members who would usually be the top reporters here at Xisto, which later became an honorary title; thus volunteered. You'd think having a badge would be the nice bonus. When a person volunteers, they don't ask for benefits—they're just glad and content with just helping out (to the best of their ability). If one were to get paid for doing work, they are no longer volunteering; they gain the status of "employee". -
One suggestion would be: try to have the renders on top of the lens flare so the render could have some priority. When using scan lines, try to have the render on top of the scan lines or have the scan lines not cover so much of the render, and maybe apply a layer-blend to the scan lines layer. Some contrast would be nice also. Text could also have some priority. 5.05 5.0 Sorry dude.

Yay for borders! However, i can barely see much for either of them. I can't tell if the second one has a render or not. But i'd suggest having the renders take up more room in the sigs. Also, try using multiple brush styles. The text also looks a bit blurred out.

Not bad, pretty good; could use something, though i'm not sure what... If you would have added some more lines, but in the background and a bit faded out, you could have probably had some 3D thing going on. The sig could use an overall matching color. Sig could use a tiny bit of contrast, and text may have been better at bottom right corner. More contrast. More room-taking on the left would have been nice. Pretty good, could use something extra, but i'm drawing a blank. Very nice! No further comments. Nice, also. No further comments. A more visible background would have been nice. Some more contrast. So, yeah, i'm a contrast promoter. -
Grunge/abstract Sig [by Imtay22]
truefusion replied to Imtay22's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I must say good render blending. I would suggest using multiple brush styles. A little brushing over the layer with the blurred out renders could have improved the sig a bit. Some contrast would have helped a bit, too. If the render took up more room, it may have improved the sig, also.I'd rate the sig: 6.25.
