I remember reading an article on how the news should be watched. For example, they showed a man bleeding, while a soldier stands behind him shouting to an off-camera source, and the story goes on to say that the soldier beat the man. I believe Jesus (yes, the one from Biblical times) mentioned that there are about 9 heavens. Each one twice as big as the other. For example, the one we're in, if it were a 500 year's worth of travel to reach the 2nd heaven, it would take 1000 year's worth of travel to reach the 3rd, and so on, up to the last heaven. I like it. But, i feel the color used for the inside of the border, that's faded out, could have been better if it were a gradient, rather than a solid color. Also, the background has a more darker feel than the render. A little brightness and contrast to the background might help. I, also, agree with Avalon on your name, could be more visible.

Well, i, personally, like the tech border, just would have liked to see some silver shine on the other side as well. But, i'm also fond of the colors used, and the contrast. So, Avalon gets my vote. S_M, your's is a bit too.. scratchy and grungy. I'd say, it takes away from the sig more than it adds to it.

Many people don't know this, but the Big Bang Theory actually supports I.D. (intelligent design). Because, if God wasn't behind it, all matter would be obliterated by anti-matter. An easy glossy/gel look can be achieved with just styles. It's just a combination of inner glow, gradients, and a inner drop shadow. Just gotta mess around with the settings and modes.
