1. I hear sunblock has the tendency to give a person cancer. So it may not just be the sun that's doing the damage. There's a rule about these things: "If you can't eat it, don't put it on your skin". Plus, a smart person would sunbathe during the 4 hours after sunrise, and/or during the 4 hours before sunset. Anything outside that time, while the sun is out, could be dangerous. Of course those who burn easily should reduce the time to 2 or less hours, before and after. The sun can be very beneficial; after all, it's one of our sources for vitamin D. And sunblock could ruin that benefit. Infact, i've heard of many many things the sun can prevent, or cure; like depression, just to name one.
2. I think it could use some clouds in the sky part. And the sig looks more like a sunrise rather than a sunset, because the sky has a strong blue. And i think the text is a bit too blended in, cause the "r" is cut off.

5. Meh, i'll get it started, and even give credits to the winners.
6. The function imagecopyresized is what you're looking for. In the PHP manual, it gives you an example code that is for resizing images. http://us2.php.net/manual/en/function.imagecopyresized.php
7. I run into these things when surfing the web. But yeah, this dancing cat made me laugh for a while, when i first saw it. I figured i apply it here and make others laugh along with.
8. Nice display of sigs you made. And, yes, i did notice that some were defaults. And welcome to Xisto. Enjoy your stay.
9. I'll think about the tutorial. Sure thing. Please hold.
10. I have Opera check for new information everytime it loads a page. I think you can have it do that every certain amount of time; same for images. In the preferences under the "advanced" tab, in the "history" section, tell it to "always" check documents. See if that helps.
11. I think you've been brain washed with lies. Cause everything mentioned here is a lie. You failed to prove that there is no God. Also, you'd think if it were so obvious, ALL people would know that the world was not created by God. However, we can obviously see that the possibility that it was created by God is far greater than the posibility that it wasn't.[1]God is God. [2]God was not created; unlike us. [3]Not all wars are intended for doing evil. It just so happens that people are willing to die for freedom, and others are willing to kill to keep people under their power. And bad things happen because people can be bad no matter who/what they are. We are the ones that make our lives miserable. Linky for you too: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You speak of which you do not know. The Bible was translated many times, yes. We have several Bibles out there translated by over a hundred scholars using the best available Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek texts. But it's funny on how you'll believe the history books in school, and not the history books of Abrahamic religions. Different writings and words have been changed, yes, but the meaning is still there. You can grab practically any word from any language and translate it into a word for another language. For example, the english word 'cat', is spelled 'katze' in german. They're both the same animal. [1]And they also donate some of the money they get to charities.[2]Those are JW's. It does not include everyone. Relate to the linky. The world is not a star. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star
12. Hah, when i first saw my name i was like, "whoa"; but i don't mind. :)Interesting effect on the hulk render. But the only advice i can give you to improve your sigs are the basics: get some brushes for your sigs, work on color/depth, and give it a border. Good luck.
13. [1]This question depends on the Christian's belief. But the most common belief is Judgement Day. Meaning, everyone dies (put into a deep sleep), then, come Judgement Day, they are all revived and judged. Although, hundreds, or maybe thousands of years have gone by. To the person that has been revived, it would seem like just a day went by. But Judgement Day isn't only a Christian belief. It is also a Jewish and an Islamic belief. [2]Just to clear something up: Moses wasn't alive during the time of Noah. Secondly, it wasn't a "world-wide" flood. It was a local flood. Linky: http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/localflood.html And another thing: God gave them the time to repent and turn their ways from evil before sending the flood.
LOL xP Linky for you too: http://www.godandscience.org/apologetics/atrocities.html
14. That sounds as if everyone can acquire the same thing the same way as anyone. Not all methods work for everyone. But some, more than others. Religion seems to be the most effective way. No it doesn't. It means:
15. AIDS is not a virus, it's a syndrome. HIV is the virus. It's easy to get rid of AIDS, just get rid of all the symptoms that are associated with it. Like every disease, there's usually a lack of something. If you stop lacking in that certain area, you shouldn't have the disease anymore.
And thanks, Cerebral Stasis, for answering my question.
16. Heh. Ten dollars is not enough to make someone--or at least me--sign up to something, that i've never heard of before, with my credit card.
17. I think the checking account is the main account, where your checks, and maybe debit cards affect it when you purchase something, or give money to someone via check. And a savings account does not get affected by those things, and you can take out or put in money into the savings account.
18. Well, the first code provided wouldn't have worked if there was an underscore, or a hyphen in the username. But it should have worked if it only contained letters and/or numbers. But the simpler way to go about it for your second code would have been: if (ereg('[\\w-]+', $username)) {echo "OK";} else {echo "Invalid Characters, or no username provided.";}
19. It might be that flash was installed only for IE on the system you're using. If you install it for Firefox, the other browsers will pick up on it; or should pick up on it. Or maybe you're using an out-of-date version. Go here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and download the installer and, of course, install it.
20. Just cause it's not fully depleted from the body, doesn't mean you can't fully suppress it to the point where it's no longer active and will never reproduce and evolve again. Sometimes, HIV doesn't really attack the moment it is in the body. It may not even attack for a large amount of time. Some things we hear about on how bad HIV is, isn't really how the HIV virus is. Even if you're tested positive for HIV, it would be better for the person to be tested again to make sure it was an accurate test result. Just cause the doctor says you have it, doesn't mean you actually do. Another thing, if HIV could defeat most cures, then they weren't really cures to begin with. The only way i can see that the HIV virus were to evolve is if the environment changes. If it feels comfortable, it may not even evolve. But even if the environment changes, it may be too much for the virus to handle and become diminished--this kind of environment would be the kind that good health creates. By the way, how long as it been since the HIV virus has been discovered? (question to anyone)
21. I believe, just like any disease and virus, that the cure is found in good health. Many vitamins and minerals help prevent many kinds of diseases, and even cure them. No drugs should be required to "fight off" any virus, or syndrome. If you improve your immune system, and maintain good health, your body should be capable of handling the attacks caused by the HIV virus, and/or any other kinds of infection. After a certain period of time, the body should be able to overpower the virus, and, in turn, quite possibly fully eliminate the virus.Usually, if you're not tested positive for HIV, you will not be diagnosed with AIDS. Usually, to be diagnosed with AIDS, you have to be HIV positive, and have certain other symptoms--like, a decline in CD4 immune cells, a drop in T4 cells, tuberculosis, diarrhea, fevers, certain cancers, etc. These other symptoms can be easily taken care of. There are many HIV+ patients out there that take no drugs, and are eating healthy and maintaining their health, and are living normal lives.
22. Advanced Batch Converter (ABC) is what you would be looking for.
23. innerHTML works for me, and i'm using Opera. <input type="button" value="Click" onclick="document.getElementById('a').innerHTML='newtext'"/><span id="a">text</span>
24. I'm sorry, but i did not see anything about oils from plants and such in your beginning post.
