Hi Guys,Well basically what it is,one of my computers at work has just started to refuse to share internet with the main access pc, it was working 2 days ago and now it isnt I have not done anything with the comp at all it has just decided not to work all of a sudden !!!I have tried to reset the network and everything... I have tried Wi-Fi connectiosn and they work, have put the base unit on a hardline into the adsl that works it is just the whole trying to run the internet access through another machine that has killed it...Any ideas would be appreciated guyswebsey

Hi Guys,ok I normally work with Div's as they are a bit prettier in the code view to work with, but i have run across a problem I have had to for the sake of people editing the site built the main infrastructure around a table system and then i have a floating menu !! set as a div tag, but I cant use the absoloute position command as it does not reallly work on t his site...Well my question is I have a table layout and want to make sure that teh Div stays exactly where it is over all resoloution changes which it doesnt..I have googled this and the only help i have found turns the Div into a holding box for an image and then takes away all the other Div elements....Well normally you can then align a Div inside a Div but i cant do this is the Div element has been reduced....This may not sound right and if it doesnt tell me and i will up load the site and you will see what i mean..The other way i have looked at doing it is to have the menu set as a background gfx on one of the tables... but then the problem with that is that it does not always align niceley...well that is my quandry guys if you can help i will be very greatful but if not dont worry and i will just have to change the layout of the site all together....Anyway cheers guyswebsey

haha microsoft not make a failure with the 1st release of an operating system are you sure ????Look I hate microsft with such a hatred it is unbelievable, I have a duel boot system one running Knoppix linux and one running XP....But even 2 - 3 years ago i would not have turned from linux to XP it is only since Xp has become such a solid fairly secure system that i use oit now and that is only for gaming due to incompatibility with my gfx card under linux And look i do quite like xp but for the first few years it was about as useful a chocolate fireguard and about as secure as a whole in your wall....And then vista came along lol and what a crash and burn that was microsoft reps under selling specs going oh yes you only need 512mb ram for running it lol what a joke you need at least 512mb ram to run xp let alone the beast that is vista....And then a few years later cos they knew they messed up here comes windows 7 which tbh is going to be a load of poo as well....why because microsoft have forgotten how to make good software and are so assured of there complete strangle hold on the market they can pump what ever rubbish they want into it.....If this was one of the other big companie people wouldnt buy it but because it is microsoft you have to....and this is due to the fact that everyone isnt going to mass emmigrate to linux which is new and scary lol....anyway tbh i should of started a new I hate microsoft thread but hey ho never mindlaters guyswebsey

Hi Guys,I would think to be honest 25 words would not be classed as spammy but unless you work / control the google search engine you will never know Also it does not have to be news or text as such that is updated on your site but more the fact of last edited so say you upload a new index / pictures page every day that would be just as beneficial as updating a news page with fresh news every day....That is also why you will find that a lot of game server stats pages are ranked high in google...for instance if you google my gaming name morbid_websey it will come up on gametracker 1st as I am on there everyday and it is updated everyday...Anyway maybe I am going off the point here....But generaly I had haveing to SEO and most often dont have to as in my business I dont offer it and personal sites I dont have to as they are gaming sites and the only way people tend to go to them is through back links anyway alright hope that helpedwebsey

Hi Guys, There has been a bit of hype in the media of late about Sega bringing out a new console w00t I was thinking at last a new Dreamcast or Saturn back to games like panzeer dragoon and the original Segar Rally or Daytona USA..... But alas no sega have released a statement denying anything to do with the rise of the long dead machien and as such we have to stick with the 360, PS3 and Wii.... But what i want to know is if sega did bring out a new games console what do you think it would be like and would you buy it ??? is Sega as close to your heart as it is mine do you have fond memories of playing alex kidd at 1am hoping your parents wont here you, or are you in deifferent thinking it would just be another console to choose from.... Are there any innovations you think sega could bring to the console market .... Dont forget the VMU from the dreamcast and console inside a console as such, or the fact that the Mega CD was the first console to use cd's Well any way I am just rambling now so tell me what you thik websey

Hi,Another thing about CSS is the fact it lets you do more layout wise than normal HTML does easier,For isntance Div boxes are great for layout once you have mastered them and also allows more elements on top of each other so for isntance you could use a div box to contacin a background image and then place divs on top to contain login components, forms, navigational items....To be honest in my opinion the source looks much nicer than HTML source.... But that could just be because I hate tables :PAnyway Hope our answers have cleared it up a bit for youRegardswebsey

Hi Guys, I havent been on for awhile because of work etc but I just had to post this after having a bit of a headache this morning with it.... Well i have set up a forum on my hosting space http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Well i thought wouldnt it be nice to put up a nice new styl... so i went and found this nice style sett for phpBB 3x well i thought nice and easy unzip upload install lol yeah and the rest well after installing the style i realised i could no longer post on my forum not for any other reason than there were no buttons post / topic etc well i thought i would try another style nope and another nope same problem with each other than the original ones so after a bit of shouting and cursing the powers that be i thought alright lets see what the phpBB forums have on it so of i toddled to have a look and could find nothing, nothing in the FAQ nothing no where so a bit dismayed i thought sod it i will take the styles etc off and just use one of the originals a bit bland but it does the job.... anyway as i was going through my ftp account later in the day i thought what items are these styles missing well a long story short they were not missing anything but what was wrong is the region that trap 17 / xisto host install phpBB in is en_us not just en well all these styles the buttons were all en not en_us so after a bit of renaming there you go the buttons work im happy i ahvent got my clan leader screaming at me down teamspeak about the fact he cannot post on the new forum... lol anyway just a thought and a moan but if you have the same problem i hope this has helped Regards websey

Hi Guys, Well the other day a friend of mine rang me up and asked me if formatting his HDD would destroy all his data on it as he is giving it away to a family member..... I was pretty blunt and told him if he formatted his HDD then brought it around to me I could get almost all his data back for him pretty easily !!! He then asked me what I would do ? Well as he was giving it away to another family member for xmas along with his laptop etc I told him the easiest thing to do as to Zero Fill the HDD as this would at least corrupt most the data and during the time the family member had the laptop he would pretty much erase alot of data through there own actions.... Anyway to the point of the topic... What programs if any do you use to zero fill / nuke your HDD I have found one little program that is free weighs in at only 2mb and you can either get it in an iso or exe package (make bootdisk) Below is a couple of quote from there website Well anyway as you would expect I ran the program and it was pretty good, for a freeware program it was nice and simple pretty much tells you what you need to do on the website, it also gives you different levels of service to run from a quick nuke upto what the DoD and FBI use the service for to wipe there old refurbished computers. The only problem is the time it takes now dont get me wrong I am not new to computers but it did take 4 1/2 hours to complete..... I suppose though for some people that is an alright time to wait if you wwant security that it will be almost impossible for people to get your old data... lol you are all right !Comign from a cannabis smoker of many years this is an on going problem you are caught with a spliff the goverment (UK) take you to court costs them a bomb you get fined ?80 or something as equaly minor, The goverment has shed out a few grand plus just on man power paperwork and other costs just to get you there...You dont learn cos what is ?80 and a bit of inconvenience every now and then ?! and so the circle repeats and repeats, at the end of the day as i have sad in other posts on this forum the only reason alcohol and tobacco are legal is beause they make so much money off of it...And come on now if the goverment made hash legal and then started to cultivate it they would balls it up like very goverrment balls up everything else it would taste nasty smell nasty and the people who already import a deal dope would still be making there money because the people i purchase from are people who will take there time with the plant...Also could you imagine the goverment giving smokers jobs just to come and test the weed they were growing !!!!! no i cant see that at all....At the end of the day if they were going to leglalise they would but who are they gong to use as the big nasties when it comes to election time, how many votes do you think they win when one party says yeah legalise it and the opposition go noooo, it sends peeple crazy if they (the peopel who want to) get there own way you would have ot heads breaking into your house and raping your cat ! Hi Guys,It doesn't look like he wants to know if it damaged, He wants to know the best way to verify it on the kington website.Mate you should not have to take apart your whole laptop, there should just be an access panel with one screw that you can undo to get to the ram, if this is the case the serial number will be on the side that is facing you, note this down and then go to the kingston website....Yes kingston does offer a life time warranty, what the shop is offering you is for the first year if it messes up they will replace it for free of charge as after that you will have to send it to the kingston factory and then go through all there refund / replacement policy....I know this may be a silly question and the answer being No, But did you keep the box and all the paperwork that ame with the ram, I am not trying to make you sound silly mate but as you got the technician to install it they tend to just through the casing away....If that is the case your life time warranty will not be valid anyway as you need proof of the purchase (more than the shops receipt)Any way mate any more probs just post back in hereHope I have helpedany more probs you can m me also mate

But mate you are still young the time you spent together was good you have already said this and her decision to go away for 10 months and not discussing it with you shows 1 of 2 things to me.... A : She did not think that it would effect your relationship and that when she come back everything would continue as it had done before, But no matter how much you say this would of happened it wouldnt, Why because although you say it doesnt bother you the fact that you mentioned her not discussing it with you hurt you..... Also people change over 10 days away from each other at your age let alone 10 months. B : She knew how you would react and found it easier to go away for 10 months and then 3 weeks in stop returning emails txt's etc So it would be easier on her to break up with you this way, I know it sounds like I am painting her out to be some sort of calculationg witch or something but I am not, I have had girls do similiar things to me, not the same I know but the same feelings and motivations behind it... Hi Guys,Well I thought I would write this tut as a few people have asked me how to limit access to certain features in XPSo well this is not a guaranteed way of stopping someone if they really want to....And also if the user has admin privilages on the machine in questionAnd they know how you did it So dont do this and then moan the person got past it, This is mainly to stop kids from running software or services that you dont want them to run Ok here goesStep 1 :Choose the program / service that you want to ban from being run Step 2 :Go to admin tools and then select local security settings and seect Software Restriction policies (pic below)Step 3 :If you have no policies already setup follow the on screen instructions of right clicking Software Restriction policies and going to create new policiesOnce this is done you should have a explorer windows that looks like thisStep 4 :Ok excellent if all is going to plan you should have a screen like the one up top, Now right click on additional rules and go to > New Path RuleStep 5 :Ok now press the browse button and find the exe for the program you want to ban (obviously if it is a service find that in the browse)Step 6 :Press ok and that is it pretty much press ok and then add a description and press apply then ok Step 7 :Test to make sure that the ban has been put in place try to load the programStep 8 :And so you should get this message when you try to laod the programThat is making sure that you have followed my TUT to the letter Ok well guys I hope this may releave some concerns on how to stop kids or idiots playing around with your machine, you can also make whole drives unavailable etc but depending on the response to this one I may or may not write those upWell any problems post here or PM me Ok guys Laters

It would indeed be possible but not in the sense that you mean,What you would have to do is create a script program that would close down every port on every hosting machine in the world !!!!The other idea is that you could do what china does and put a massive firewall up over the whole planet this include wap and other forms to and basically disallow all communicationwell this is just a fantasy I have lol not really But in theory yes in ractice almost impossible who knows until it happens though

Well this is a debate that could go for a few pages tbhIn my own experience it wasnt smoking the marijuana that was addicting it was the high and the social highthat it brought me, for example a sunday :I would awake about 1 -2 in the afternoon after being out all night and there would be friends about so we would start smoking marijuana straight away and all get the giggles and high and because we were all recovrring from abusing our bodies one way or the other the night before we socially accepted each other and it enhanced our social aspects during the day...But then again I would wake up on a monday morning and smoke a joint and have a bad high because I would then go into work with all these *straight heads* and have to cope with being so monged from a few splifs on the way in that it was depressiveto be honest if you ask a pot smoker while he is smoking it wether it is harmful / addictive he will laugh away your challenges but just ask one of the many people in rehabilitation with skunk psychosis and it is a different story all together...I realsie that during my hayday of smoking weed it did become an addiction but only through the social and high aspects not the physical....but the pysichal and mental effets do not always appear straight away...but as has been said further up we illegalise a plant that has been used for medical reasons by all goverments at one point or another, for pties sake look at the uk goverment as soon as china delegalised opium we started waging wars on them, as soon as the goverment has worked out a way of making the most possible profit out of it they will legalise it but until that point they wont....Honestly coming from an experienced smoker most police dont think it should be illegal and i know 1 or 2 that actually admit to smoking it socialyanyway thats my ran over :)I hope I have enlightened you in some way
