I think to succeed in life time management is a must knowledge one should have. It is possible for all to cross the finish line but there is just one first and if one wishes to be a first he/she must know what to do, when to do and how to do. All of which is related to time at some extent. If your timing is right you win and even if you are the best and do not show up when needed you just perish. There are various courses given by various universities that relate to time management and are a real demand but at the end the lazy bones fail and the fast and witty wins. Time management and wisdom are both required but wisdom automatically involves the knowledge of time management. Hence a wise person will know how to manage time.

Google Chrome - Your Opinion? have you guys tried it?
buxgoddess replied to y4nzi's topic in Software
Well if you are Google fan and love Google apps and cannot live without it, you definitely need the Google chrome. and if you are among those who call a spade a spade then chrome a crap. I never felt that chrome is anywhere near a good browser other than its own apps legend compatibility. and if you fear some real control over how and where you browse look for chrome. for men and bold women the Firefox rules and yes long live Firefox for its great plugins. -
Take a look closer. Forget the ranking of last year and you have the clear winner. INDIA.Ok it may be right that if you consider the spoils of other teams during the last five years and beyond, Australia are eating on the rot. Look at the Ausie team stats now and the Indian team stats. By next year Team India will be the no 1 in both form of the game.

Indian team in the series with the england showed their might and won the one day series all up. The test matches are creating history. lets wait to see the collapse of england and India reaching Rank 2 after the test series.

The Telecom PSU BSNL does not provide good service conditions for its employees. This is what I have to say after going through the experiences.1. The unions are involved in activities related specifically to members of their own union, and if the employee is of another union , no favour at all.2. Senior officials are least bothered about what their subordinates do and are at always ready to go home even before office gets over.3. Many smaller exchanges are on rented buildings and are not even having proper toilets and even if they do have one the cleaning expenses received are shoved by SDE's.4. The management is a part of DOT (Govt body) and the employees are under PSU, so even if the employee gets a peanut the management is least bothered.Share your views.

life is full of ups and downs and the down times are the ones which stay for long. These down times interefere with our ability to function properly. One of these psychological disorder is depression. The depression results into fatigue sleep problems and appetite problems. The mood of a person gets affected and he/she feels sadness, hopelessness emptiness etc. it effects how one thinks also interfering concentration and decision making. Overall the behavior changes to irritability, temperred and social withdrawl and less active works of pleasure.Women are twice likely to be affected by depression and it is important that women are aware as to how to prevent depression and if such a situation arises, she must be able to handle the situation well.

buxgoddess replied to Webber's topic in General Discussion
Whatever you argue for, Hitler or Bin Laden. Both have a story of their own. Bad peoples. On the other hand Subhash Chandra Bose of the In dian freedom strugle is a legend of his own. Subhas also disappeared and is not known whether he is killed by the russian or lived a life in oblivion. -
I was going through the title and rembered i had a book of the same title with me. Some things that i read in the book are what I experienced myself. I used to believe doctors were God. Ok, close to it, anyhow. But my experince with the nursing homes tainted my belief in just abut all doctors. I won’t go into deteails. You don’t need that. But, I believe, like all people in all walks of life, there are good and not-so-good practitoners. That goes for doctors, too. And I believe a person has to be well-informed and take charge of her medical knowledge in order to prevent being victim of inadvertent negligence. I doubt you trust all auto mechanics, computer repair persons, or hair dressers/barbers. Why should we, as patients, trust all doctors? We can’t. Previous post members has some excellent points above. Just as you have to have some knowledge about your vehicle, computer and what you think your hair dresser should or shouldn’t do, so should we about our doctors. I undrstand why doctors would be upset with “know-it-all” patients who don’t listen to them. But perhaps the same is happening in reverse. Isn’t half of medical care actually listening to the patient? And what makes doctors think that we are so stupid we can’t learn, too? Just because I chose a differnt path in life does not mean I can’t study and learn what they leaarn. Perhaps I know more than many doctors on some subjects. I guarantee and I do on certain subjects, especially when it comes to our bodies and illnesses. How often do doctors really read the new research and keep up with new diagnostis and treatment options? I believe the answer is not nearly enough. That is why the patient has to research and then find a doctor who has or who is willing to learn. That’s what most of do now. I found a specialist all the way across the country, in Vellore, who knew what was wrong with my mother. I found few doctors who was/is willing to learn. It’s a good combination, but I suffered a lot until I did. And the delay almost cost me my mother's life. Am I angry. Surely. At many doctors I saw in the past? Yes. At doctors in general? I don’t know. I don’t know with whom to be angry. Medical colleges? The “system”? What? Who? What is the answer to the above? We would love to hear it. I know I’m only seeing it from my side, but no doctor has been willing to share with us from his/her side. I would like to suggest some posts on that from the doctors on these topics. Some of the experience shared in Xisto will make us be a better human at large.

Quake Or Unreal 2 similar games which do you prefer?
buxgoddess replied to tasty's topic in Computer Gaming
Unreal also a multiplayer online first person shooter came out competing head to head with quake3. They are by large extremely similar. The models and skins of unreal are lacking as compare to the impressive work in quake3. unreal has more gameplay types in a box than quake3,The truth that the twogames unreal and quake are nearly identical, is not being accepted by both parties/ groups. The differences I see are 1. Unreal has two more gameplay types, assault and domination, 2. unreal has slightly different weapon, 3. unreal has secondary fire modes, 4. quake3 is pretier and has curved surfaces, 5. quake3 has quite significantly better models and skins. Its basic programming besides extremely minor physics and mechanics differences. At the end it just ends up being a random matter of the taste in the first person shooters. The people who are smart go for the mods for quake3 and now shifted to another great in the league, Half-Life and hl2. -

buxgoddess replied to Echo_of_thunder's topic in Science and Technology
Kolkata is receiving the most warmest winter in 51 years. Right fifty one years later. The lowest temperature is 22 degrees , eight degrees above normal level on the 12th this month. I think global worming is shiwing its wrath on the climate and ecosysytem -
The reame about and terms and codition pages must be fullly scrolled and correct replies posted to proceed for a new member. Also for members who are inactive for say 30 days also go through the same correct answer to proceed. If fail do again or wait 1 or 2 hours. Pretty fine I think.Posting false information is absolute no no.why is myCENT suddenly zero. Ia am also not credited today?

There is more to add tho what I said earlier. As the topics grouping is concerned they are really good. But as said earlier, if you wish to post something it gets harder to find where to post. The search gives very vague idea. I made a search and did not find any result. After posting it and the going through the topics later I found a similar topic with the search word existed much before I posted. However I still think the site map of Xisto should be a tool for finding where to post something.Another thing that keeps coming to my mind is how relevant a topic is after a period. That is to say if at all the information added under a post/ thread is relevant. Say tomorrow Obama is going for a meeting at 12 noon and there is no reply to that post as to what happened in that meeting. The post is absolutely useless and thus must be made mandatory for the poster to reply with what happened to that meeting. Two options may be created. 1. Can keep posting but myCent does not increase untill and unless sufficient more information is posted again for that post.2. Delete or disable that thread and forego any myCent collected for that post and keep earning as normally done. Please think and give comments.

In INDIA Iphone has just entered the market but is not a cake now. No 3G bandwidth nor does the operators provide better service. You just use the phone like another one without the value for money you spend. I had a wish to buy one but decided against just because of non-usability factor. The bran d is not well known in INDIA even for the PC segment. the ITunes also is not very popular so are the Applications except Adobe PDF reader.I think iphone is useful only in developed countries.Nokia on the other hand have some good value for money sets and I personnaly prefer Samsung Omnia - the best so far.

I wonder if the tool can be used by companies selling programs to improve your site rating in google. What if they start selling and earn money by manipulating the googles best tactics. This way google will rank fake sites as ranked and misguide people. I am not too convinced if some one says that google cannot be hacked. They are hacked every now and then but escape the wrath because they have a vast array of backup and distrubited databases. One search in google will give different result in 2 days pages just see\ms gone and you ujust don't find them again the next day.

Terrorists Used Google Earth During Mumbai Attacks
buxgoddess replied to ihost's topic in The Internet
Another good thing misused my mankind. It is now a common fact that almost all the features and things that can be brought to good use are being used for some bad motives. It is a common thing tha t almost every movie seems to show at some stage or other, be it a social thing or scientific tool, being used as a threat to homans and ill judgement of miscreants. The Mumbai blast is a clear show that directly pionts to the ill motives of some people i n fuakistan - a muslim country which is not able to tame butchers. Most militant groups inclusing AlQaida aer hiding in the fuak terriotory and the fuak government has tried all its tactics to reduce the kafirs, but failed even to acknowledge that the kafirs are mocking at them.If the prime minister of fuakistan today said that they have captured the leader of the kandhar plane hijack mastermind, he immidiately denied the detainment and handing over the most wanted criminal terrorist over to India. Surely they fear that fuakistan will revolt against the government if they hand over the terrorist to India. These are my personal views and does not mean to hurt any people at large. The use of google earth is just so easy that tomrrow a full fledged government may try to use the tool to spy or attack. -
I have a Intel Original 845GBV board and has a Nvidia GForce FX card which supports 8x but am able to manage 4x only due to the boards limitation. I tried to install the latest driver both in Vista and XP but there is no much change in the performance seen. Maybe my 40 GB Hard disk is the bottleneck as it runs slow. iI tested with my friends hard disk and it runs fine. Now that I got a new Cpmpaq Presario v2560 I am not too keen on expermenting with my desktop.

Could not figure out if your ATI had any other problems. As far as the two card manufacturers are concerned, Nvidia rules the graphics card domain. As the comparisions go Nvidia has more cads the add power at low budget. The common aggrement was that ATI had some untapped potential in its cards that just needed to be experimented upon. ATI simply needed more time - after all, Nvidia had six months to tweak its graphics drivers for the launch of DirectX 10. [br]If you are plannng for Vista then ATI offcially supports the following Radeon cards for Vista: Radeon 9500, 9559, 9600, 9700, 9800, x300, x550, x600, x700, x800, x850, x1300, x1600, x1650, x1800, x1900, x1950. It also supports All in Wonder, on board and Mobility cards. for more info and download of drivers look at this site http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html[/br]To find out more about Vista support for Nvidia cards check this siet [url=\"http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;

The Blue-ray war has now gone to a new dimension. The capacity is simply growing without any barrier as so far seen. However the cost of each such DVD will take some time to come down as the commercial viability is a bit difficult. I am sure that there will now be other vendors who come up with 10-20% more space packed in the same size. A pioneer in its area Pioneer has this on a total of 16 layers (2 to the power 4) and the laser itself is very very sensitive to the refracted light. The technology of the super multilayer read-only disc is based on Blu-ray disc with a breakthrough in material of reflective layers. The read only feature is just acheived. But a full fledged commercial writer is for common people is not a near reality. As said by the topic starter, 1TB is on the card by 2013, five years down the line, I think it will take double or more time to have a 1TB disk. Anyways according to Pioneer High Fidelity Taiwan the possiblity is on track. God luck to all.

scripting forums how to or where to find
buxgoddess replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Websites and Web Designing
See there is no such as which is better, but php and mysql steals the show because of its popularity and ease of use. There are standard scripts available which are free and can be used with any standard forum or sites to enhance their usability and flexibility. But a professional site may not use php and may take help of flash or other programing and be as professional as well. Just see the budget and the creation team since even if you buy a standard script you need to theme or modify to suite your site theme and topic. Get in touchwith professionals and don't waste your time and money with some newbees.Good luck ahead. -
I had one with IBP covering topics of Mobile phones. Had only a few topics and invited lots of people and was able to get a good site up. But one day my host just deleted by database and I had no backup. I was at real loss as I was thinking to go for adsense. I just went hibernating as evrytime I came close to payment gerator or payment due the site or some unwanted thing would happen and my luck would go dry.The worst part here in Xisto so far is that I was banned for about 15 days and my site renewal was due, and I did not have enough funds either,. I was lucky that Administrator intervened and help lift the ban. Thanks Admin again. Some of the tips of good forum are very difficult to follow if you do not have a strong forum title or strong forum topics/sections.Ha ve some research on how a forum should be arrange and also about how to moderate and how much to tolerate in a forum.
