  1. I know where you got that Vash the Stampede render
  2. O_O I finally took a chance to take a look at all of them....so...so many O_O......very nice find!
  3. @ Saint_Michael : Are you talking to me or leiaah? o_O
  4. Saint_Michael sure seems to like red o_O
  5. The curved thing is a glossy highlight. And I have no clue what saint_mike was talking about either...I was waiting for one of you guys to translate it...
  6. The globe seems to start a bit abruptly. I say drag the edges out a bit more with the smudge tool or liquify tool [or even the zooming radial blur] and do some feathering around it with a feathered lasso and a layer mask.
  7. There really is no need for a border around the font. You just need a border around the sig itself.
  8. Looks fairly well made if your going for a logo. I can't find any problems with it, or have anytging to suggest, so I'll say it looks complete to me.
  9. Wow thats a BIG zip of renders...560 MB o_O Thanks for sharing!
  10. There's a few problems that I see. 1) You can see some of the edges of the white and red bars, and I think thats sort of annoying. 2) You're really starting to like that highlight thing huh? I saw make it a bit bigger so that it goes a little bit lower. maybe down to his ear. I think it looks better that way. And maybe a bit more feathering on the render itself? Other then that, looks great.
  11. I get mine for $22 from DSLExtreme, and it's 2MB. They have other packages as well...prices depend on your area....
  12. I like it, it looks good. My only suggestions are to have the little globe thing on the side start a little more subtley. And you need a border as well. I reccomend a 3px one. The text is effective, but a bit too simplistic in my own opinion. Try a different font.
  13. Leiaah - A lot better then my first attempt....my suggestions are to blend in the renders a bit more, and have a little contrast between the text and the background...it's really hard to read.My sig - Yeah...i know theres some loose pixels laying around...I'll clean it up soon and fix a few things....this is the 2nd render i've ever done, so it's not exactly perfect. This is the first sig I've made that isn't blue, green, black or grey o_O.
  14. There's an installation for an outdated 1.2 Invision Power Board in the cPanel...does that count? o_O [Preinstalled Scripts > Addon Scripts > Default Addons > Scroll Down until you see InvisionBoard]
  15. If you're gonna go for DSL, I say try out http://www.dslextreme.com/ cheapest prices i've seen. As for tutorials, I prefer Good-Tutorials for photoshop, because it mainly focuses on Adobe products and updates more often. Pixel2Life is good for 3D modelling and such as well. Lookie there...what's Terry Bogart doing here? King of Fighters > Street Fighter
  16. Maybe he was banned by IP? Dunno...
  17. There are many sites that you can sign up for a free IPB, but its an older version [1.3 Final]. I believe there is a pre-installed IPB 1.2 in the cPanel.
  18. There is a 30 Free Trial of 3D Studios max on their website, and there is also a free, but limited, version called GMax. You can get it here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  19. Actually, the right shoulder was cut off on the original screenshot so I had to work with what I could. Any further suggestions for the "phyre" text? And I highly reccomend Appleseed, whether or not you like anime. It rocks!
  20. A new sig I just created with a few new brushes I've found. It's my first attempt at a sig with an extruding render. The render is from an Anime movie called Appleseed [http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/] and the I created the render myself by extracting it from a high resolution screenshot, so it's a bit rough around the edges. Tell me what you think, and how I can improve it. And yes, I know the "phyre" text sucks..and the "Appleseed" is the official logo/title/font thing of the movie.
  21. Unfortunately, I forgot my password,e-mail, account, etc. to GameRenders.com, and am too lazy to make another one...I don't go to GameRenders very often anyways. As for blending, there's lots of techniques: Going around the edges with a grunge eraser, using a layer mask, going around the edges with a feathered deletion, and using blending modes. http://www.good-tutorials.com/ has a wealth of tutorials for Photoshop, as well as http://www.pixel2life.com/ I've written a tutorial on grunge blending, which can be found at: http://forums.xisto.com
  22. You need to improve on your brushing techniques as well as try blending the car into the background.
  23. Tutorials are your friends...thats how I learned. And as Johnny said, stay FAR away from dragging your brushes....and use a variety. An interesting color may help, or make it multi-colored. Try adding a border as well.
  24. GAH! I hate the pen tool....It never comes out like I want it to....It's good for abstract shapes and stuff though.
  25. ::Raises hand:: I like to see other's work, so I can compare myself to them.
