LMAO that has got to be the corniest thing I've heard in a while, Johnny

Saint's: Phyre's:

Seems you guys like the tank. Dang...it's tied now...1:1...will the undefeated champ pocket another victory? Or will he get overthrowned by the underdog?
-
I'll take on Saint_M's sig with this:
-
Luminosity colors the applied layer with the color thats beneath it...example: if your first layer is blue, and your second layer is a face, setting the layer the face is on to Luminosity will color it the same shade of blue as the first layer. About the sig:You should lessen up on the wind a little bit. A lot of people seem to like using the wind filter, but I think it's a tad annoying. The font really doesnt blend in very well. Make it a different color and lessen up on the bevel as well.
-
Er....I have to make another now, don't I? -.- Gimme some time =S
-
I'm a fan of dark colors...most of my sigs are on the darker end of the spectrum
-
Er...did I say a week? Please change that to "ASAP"...and here's my entry...I managed to think of something a lot faster then I thought I would have...It didn't turn out all that grungy though =X
-
Aw crap, I was afraid it would be you XD, but sure...gimme some time to scrap together a sig...

Another Sig From Snlildude87? Its true.
Phyre replied to snlildude87's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Yeah, whether or not the Chain was enabled or not would not make the render choppy, Saint_M, it would just cause the render to be misproportioned and strange looking. Nor would a color balance make it choppy. As Johnny said, its a "Bad render. Plain and simple." -
Since I have had no motivation what-so-ever to create a sig by myself, I challenge someone to a battle!Rules:Theme: GrungeSize: 450 x 250 maxText Required: YesRender Required: YesRender Theme: AnyAnimation: NoDue: ~One weekOther: Pop-outs allowed, but must be within size limitations. Border is not restricted to pixel borders. First to 7 votes win.Anyone up for it?

Gift For Johnny V2.0 Way better than the first :).
Phyre replied to Kubi's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Yeah, actions can be really handy...it really speeds things up.As for the sig...good use of scanlines, and a pixel border [yay!], and a good selection of colors. All that needs improvement is the text [make it stand out a bit more], and the brushing...it looks rather bland...overall, 8.5, but a bonus +.5 for it being Appleseed -
Hes probably talking about the white scunge laying around the render...and wow...i like whats been done to the Photoshop Forums ;)What technique did you use, Saint_Micheal?

Graphic Battle! I challenge someone to a battle
Phyre replied to rejected's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I also accept your challenge...but I guess I'm too late :PApurva, a graphics battle is pretty much a showdown between two graphic designers who create a sig or image that comply with a set or rules. -
Renders Package 11 a new one uploaded
Phyre replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
Did you make or compile these renders? If not, you should include a text file and give credit to the people that made them. -
I mainly agree with just about everything CFreaker said, but the main things that I want to point out/add/repeat are:1) Those lines kind of ruin the whole thing...and the text just plain...sucks =/2) The 'J' doesn't stand out enough3) Er..dunno...there's just something about the brushing that's bugging me4) Nothing to complain about. Looks good to me :unsure:5) A little bit more blending is needed around the render..and as CFreaker said, it looks like you tried to combine grunge with abstract, but it doesn't look all that great :P6) Nothing to complain here, either. :D7) It seems a little bit to "busy"..and what's with the text? :|Like Freaker said, these aren't your best sigs...but you'll get over the block sooner or later...oi...I need to start making some new sigs....this HL2 one is from November 2004 o_o
-
I think it would be more convenient to start from scratch
-
The brightness is the problem, I don't think. I think the greens a bit to vibrant, and it sort of irritates the eyes a bit. You are the first person I've seen that combines abstract with tech..
-
I think you should desaturate the green a little bit...it's just too....green o_O. Also as Johnny said, it's a bit monotone.
-
The johnny storm one is great, but I see some minor flaws on cyclops and magneto [i think thats him...was never much of an x-men fan...]. It's a bit choppy around the edges. They all look pretty good though
-
The grey things are choppy..and a bit out of place IMO. For the mini logo thing, you should put the Cite ontop of gaming...
-
Warning stripes seem to be very popular these days...it looks pretty good though...different from most sigs I've seen so far.

Saint-michaels Template going to be use for fsa site
Phyre replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
The majority of it looks great, but the font is a bit blurry. I think the top banner needs to be worked on, theres quite a few flaws. The dot pattern is also out of place..you should try playing around with blending options or lowering the opacity. -
Tekken 5 Vs Street Fighter choose for my next sig

Saint_Michael....what are you talking about? o_o He's asking what he should do for his next sig...
