That's a very strange mish-mash of using CSS and tables you've got going there.
Basically, your absolutely positioned sidebars are the wrong way to go about it. Take a look at http://www.pmob.co.uk/temp/3colfixedtest_4.htm for ideas & reference on how to go about creating column layouts using CSS.

If you're making company logos, you have to keep in mind that they will appear not just on a website, but on printed material too. For that reason, multi-tonal, blended backgrounds like you've got there don't really work (ie it's not gonna look very good as a letterhead). Think about all the most well-known company logos and they're almost always made up of areas of single, continuous colour; not so much blends or gradients.

I posted this in another thread (so you might want to delete that one) but posting here again as it's about the forum update:when you include a link in your post, you have to rollover it to tell it's an actual link. Like if I use the http:// button, and put Xisto in for 'My webpage' instead of http://forums.xisto.com/, the reader won't know I've made the text a link.

What! There's flood control now. (Or maybe there was before and never noticed).Anway, I'm posting twice cos I've just noticed with the board's new skin that you can't tell a link's a link unless you rollover it like I made CoolArchive above. ^

You wanna look at optimising your graphics better as well cos 423k for an image that size is way too large.

Yeah, I've had the same problem. I've only recently been playing around with PHP - before that it was all ASP - and I'm always getting caught out by missing ; and { which are a lot harder to spot than a missing then or end if.

I got called Harvey Kevell by a bunch of Vietnamese kids once. They were trying to say Harry Kewell. The only thing I have in common with him is that I'm Australian.

Pull her poneytails. What should I do???

I thought that was similar and common as a feature of AutoComplete for Web Addresses?
With that you have to type the www. first - with moldboy's way you just type whatever name you choose instead so you could have abbreviations as well (eg t17 instead of Xisto).

Have you specified an initial value for $weightnum anywhere? Cos if you haven't, your counter doesn't know what it's s'posed to be counting down from. I would've thought it'd be easier to count up, but I don't s'pose it really matters.

That's pretty handy actually.

Pay a hacker to bring down his site and infect his computer with a virus.I was so pissed. But it really wasn't nothing I could do.

Which language is Seijin Maikeru in? Japanese?

The only reason? I think maybe the fact there weren't any to start with might have something to do with it. And this 'substantial evidence' you're talking about has been reported widely as having been falsified.Bush decided to invade Iraq because he and his cabinet had substancial evidance that Iraq had WMD(Weapons of Mass Destruction). The only reason the UN's inspectors didn't find any is because they told the Iraqies beforehand that they were going to search an area.

Does closing the shoutbox make any difference? I've got mine permanently closed because there's enough scrolling as it is to get to the first post in a thread without scrolling through the shoutbox as well.

I know some people use the mask tool & brush or the eraser, but I prefer to use the pen tool and draw a path around whatever I'm cutting out then make my selection from that.try zooming in and chopping it a little cleaner with the eraser or polygon selection.

I actually like the music, but as others have said, probably doesn't really go with the image you're trying to put across. The other thing that doesn't really go is 'client's login'. Makes it seem like a site selling paid services which may put some people off.Looks good, - I would agree though, - best to loose the music, - It's just not very professional

I thought these were the funniest lines:you guys check out this site: http://crazyapplerumors.com/some funny reactions of the mac community on the impending switch of apple to intel.
A: That's your fallback plan? When cannibalism is too much you switch to muffins?Q: I'm... I'm a picky eater.

Maybe I'm not reading it right but I don't see any mention of Outpost in there. Sygate & Kerio are the 2 best ones mentioned.Basically, Kaspersky Antivirus Personal Pro and Outpost Firewall Pro are the best antivirus and firewall programs
-
None of the links work.Follow the links in that post also, so you can see how each popular antivirus programs performed. The results will be quite surprising to some.

I had ZoneAlarm for a while & my PC virtually ground to a halt with it on.2) Zone Alarm firewall
Absolute MUST have if you decide to venture onto the internet.
So I got Sygate Personal Firewall instead - does all the things ZoneAlarm does but without the poor overall performance and my antivirus is Avast!
