000webhost Review Review of the hosting
onscreen replied to Mike90014's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I have different experience with 000webhost. Though its upload is kind of unstable when it comes to uploading large contents like forum package or portal package but it have solid good uptime now compare to its previous standard which each new registered member will restart its servers. The reason they refuse vBulletin installation is due to the high rate of illegal copies installed in 000webhost. So far phpbb, SMF is the forum package that i tried and worked with 000webhost. And who would put up private files in a free / unsecured webhost? -
I have sketchy feelings on LG phones as on some models they drop some features. Like the Chocolate series, some comes with memory slots while some dont while the price difference isnt alot. Worse is the LG surface looks fragile and have the flimsy feeling on its slide phone.

Only way to do it is to reinstall everything from scratch. Reinstall the OS, reinstall the applications. The backup is actually meant for your documents but not for any installed applications as none of its registry was backup-ed in the process.Assuming you have all those application, it shouldnt be hard to reinstall it.

What Would You Choose? Just a candy topic :)
onscreen replied to FreedomOverdose's topic in General Discussion
I choose neither of it. Being myself is already great and can do anything without the fuss / worry of something. -
I do hope you change your thread title to Crush for PSP. The current thread title gave me an impression of a thread about crushed PSP even though i own a PSP and have the game as well.

Follow Up On The Best Free Mmorpg's praise to Anarchy Online
onscreen replied to xuiin's topic in Computer Gaming
Join an org and you will get a different feeling. Anarchy Online isnt a simple MMO just like what WoW serve. AO itself is a really complex MMO that requires micro management on your skill set and making friends is the key to truly enjoy Anarchy Online. I played AO for 3 years and have a Lv210 Keeper but i have to admit that the game is dying slowly for this year. When i return to AO with free gametime, i see a degradation in players compare to last year. -
Ditched my Moto e398 and got myself a SE w760i. Wonderful phone with solid chassis. Whats best is SE phone themes is really easy to create and apply.

If you can run Ubuntu 64 properly, then you can run any 64-bit OS without problems. There isnt a difference in 64-bit and 32-bit. Only thing you will be aware of is a 64bit OS can support up to 32GB of ram while 32bit OS can only support up to 2GB (3GB with boot edit). All softwares / application will run properly. If you happen to have a 64bit application, you will notice the slight increase on speed.64bit shares the same graphics library with its 32bit flavor so all games can be run without problem in 64bit.

Everyone seems to miss out the most critical subject, the aperture.Aperture is something that measures how much light it can capture during a shot. The bigger the aperture, the more control you can have. The reason point and shoot is slow in some ways is partly due to the aperture it have. Current minimum it can go is from f/3.5 due to zoom factor. Another reason is the image processor in the camera. Flash will not slowdown shutter speed but increase it according to your flash settings. Also, Aperture DO affect your shutter speed as well. Unless you have a DSLR, you can manually adjust your Aperture / shutter speed combo through command dial.Buffalo is right on the ISO. The higher the ISO, the more shutter sped variables you can choose from but comes with alot of noises in the pictures.@Room2593, indoor shooting sometimes requires flash. My previous job is a wedding photographer and sometimes i have requests on taking indoor shooting with customer's point and shoot camera. Direct flash will create an obvious white washout. Curtain flash, is a type of flash mode that only flashes out when the shutter plane is about to close. That gives a very balanced lighting but with a slow shutter speed trade off.The best indoor shooting with flash is to do a bounce flash. In all external flash for DSLRs, may it be D-TTL / TTL etc.. you get to bend your flash head up to 90degrees for it to fill the room with light instead of the subject. This can be done with point and shoot / build-in flash. Get yourself a gray card, not too dark ones but some mixture of white would be good. Slant the card just right below the flash and hold it while taking the photo, squeeze the shutter to avoid shaking. Do try and tell me the results :lol:Another indoor shooting with flash tip is to diffuse direct flashes. Just like above, external flash have a soft white cap that covers the flash head, that is a diffuser. It diffuse outgoing light and disperse it evenly on the subject and surrounding while creating a warm and soft shadows with a balance lighting overall. Also you can do this on any build-in flashes with a tissue paper. Get a piece or 2 of the tissue and dont make it too thick, try out to see its thickness by looking through it to see if you can see lights coming in. Tweak it for your needs and press the tissue on the flash, do not cover it and start shooting. Do try it and tell me the results too ^_^Hope my tips and advice would help you too.

Yesasia.com Review Decent importer but...
onscreen replied to lacking_imagination's topic in General Discussion
YesAsia is specialized in k /j Drama series, Jpop / Kpop etc.. i bought those from them and have yet to encounter problem with them. If your intention to buy console games, i did suggest you to go for other online retail. I do believe YesAsia isnt aware of the phishing flaw within their security layer as like you mentioned, incoming spams increased after purchase. What i believe is this phishing methods scans for free emails and distribute it remotely to spammers. -
For some reasons, you have to rely on other much effective trojan scanner while most anti-virus softwares does only 70% of its job. I once had this Trojan lurking in my OS and only found out when i download a Trojan scanner while the AVG detects nothing. What it disable is my windows auto update and the firewall. Anyway, good thing you got your problem fixed. Be more careful next time

Good question but i never thought of that. I was asked this question once but my reply was, let nature decide it for me. But i did prefer to die in a sleep, the dream continues.

Ah, i faced such problem before. For my case its the cable problem, just like you. Do you happen to have a new FW800 cable? IF so try it, else borrow it.I was told FW800 cable tend to worn out really fast..

Do so! Cant wait to see it Actually, its a bond between owner and pet. Very common to pets that can think and analyze instead of natural reaction.

With the new Intel Based Macs, you wont need any virtualization softwares unless you are still using G5 and below. True, Virtualbox is really durable compare to others but for me, VMWare Fusion for Mac is still top in my list. With the support of running 3D applications, many may prefer that to feed their casual gaming.Virtualbox comes in many flavor as it supports most .nix, Windows family and OSX versions. Also, good user base and support too.

Pirates of the Burning Sea to me is an AA class nautical based MMO. Voyage Century is also a very shiny MMO which is pirate based too. Kind of grindy but if you dont mind that, it would entertain you nicely.Tales of Pirate and Pirate King is based on the same game but due to localized publishers option, they prefer to have the name changed and with that, it confuse many players thinking its a different game and a rip off of each other. Deep inside, what is different is the name, the management. The game and all its related system is the same.

Old topic but with to quote. You can explain a concept in a practical finishing as the result may goes random. Tutorial is may be spoonfeed yes, but it is up to you to break it up and analyze its outcome and reasons behind those. Blender isnt hard. The interface is nonlinear. If those who is interested in learning blender can read its documentation through its official site.

Nice! Still, keep up the great work. Looking forward to your new work in near future .

Its based on the torrents seeders. I personally use torrents for TV shows that i couldnt get to watch in my country and so far, i have yet to have problem facing slow downloads.Still, not all torrent sites cater the thing you need. The reason they restrict the registration is due to the abusing rate which will later pull down the reputation of a torrent site.

What is your usage of the membership in Demonoid?I can spare you with an invitation code but i will have to responsible for your wrong doings if any. That will cause my account and yours terminated.

There is no good 3D / Animation suite but whats important is which one would suits you and you are comfortable with the workflow.Personally i used Maya for years and recently i switch to Softimage XSI after the announcement of the version 7 since the workflow in XSI suits me more than Maya. Animation wise, i did say stick with 3DS Max. There is no good community based support that is parred with 3DS Max, this means, if you need guides, tutorials or questions, virtually all existing 3D community sites cater 3DS Max.In rendering, all major suites come with Mental Ray engine except for C4D, Lightwave, Blender..etc but in 3DS max, you have the option to between Mental Ray and some other 3rd party renderer like vRay.My advice is stick with what you have, ONLY change to other suites if you feel uncomfortable with the current.

Only do it if you know what you are doing. Changing firmware isnt risky to be honest if you backup the original one. In case of any errors, just upload the backup one and it is ready to go.I will like the risk factor for each phone as i have tried many phone modification and not to be boastful, very well verse on it.Most risky one is Samsung. As it set all system files as read only and if you do a force rewrite, it will corrupt the files. The most friendly one is Nokia and Motorola as the firmware itself can be accessed, written and rewritten. As long as you back up according and sync it to your computer, nothing will happen.Depends on your knowledge in phone "reformatting", Sony Ericsson is neutral and depends on the user skills. If the phone is spoiled due to corrupted firmware, you have to send to the service center for a major "reformatting".Currently i am still having my soon to dispose Motorola E398 that has been hacked and firmware upgraded. My next aim is on the new generation of SonyEriccson phone which i might "reformat" and to install Symbian OS into it.
