  1. DNA test... I don't think the bodies still have hair left (or living tissue)... Don't some people today have the same height as the hobbits (due to a disease)? How could they know that the hobbits discovered fire? That's a rather rash thing to conclude. If they're real, then JR Tolkien... *shudders* How could he know that?Anyway, I saw a documentary in National Geographic Channel (forgot what it was exactly, but it was about evolution of humans). They included the hobbits there as well.
  2. Interesting. It looks authentic to me, no doubt about it. It's a folder from google.com But what on earth will google.org do? This is pretty mysterious. They probably thought no one will notice the page... Staffing inquiries? To become a staff of Google!? WOW! I wonder how much they'll pay and if they accept international applications. *Evil laugh* Notice from s243a: Edited at users request.
  3. I like to travel on foot. You could do whatever you want as well. I don't last long, though. I love walking short distances, routine places. I'm scared of riding motorcycles. Train? That's OK... I like driving the car as well. My dad put me behind the wheel when I was 8, (he was on the pedals) and I had lots of fun! (He also held the wheel just in case) Of course, we did that in a dark empty road. Airplane? I've been on one before. It's pretty exciting! Years after that, I kept watching Air Crash Investigation on National Geographic, and It's not pretty.
  4. That's a good idea, but most people would rather go for compatibility, as most programs are for Windows. I'm not sure about Linux, though. Linux is after Windows.
  5. I use Firefox too. I didn't reach those floppy disc virus time, but up until now, when I have this floppy, everyone gets suspicious and scans it first. I was young (about 6-8) when I asked my mom why she's wary of Floppy Discs. She told me there might be a virus. Those days, the Floppy Viruses were declining due to the rise of the internet. I never experienced a Floppy Virus. I don't think people will use CDs as a way of sending viruses because it's much slower. The internet sends viruses with the click of a button.Next thing you know, a virus that ruins the motherboard. (I don't know how that's possible, but I'm thinking it'll be a chain reaction starting from the software to the hardware)I shudder to think. *freezes*
  6. It's very good! That was very creative of you. It sounds like it came from a prayer book. It's a good job!
  7. Yeah, that was hilarious! Those fugitives... I loved that one too! Especially when Adam was using his hammer while building the raft, he said (for those who remember, this isn't EXACTLY what he said but quite similar) "Is that a guard?" he shrugs, and keeps pounding even harder. I don't know why, but I found it extremely funny...
  8. Mine too! The ads looked familiar. They were on my site! Thanks for the tip! It's a useful tool to let me edit my keywords and get more clickers (yeah I call them that) interested in the ads.
  9. Sorry for resurrecting the thread but...(The English Translation of the thread below)Hey there, I'm a Pinoy too! I'm not a fan of SCQ, but it's cool that you got a .info domain. Oy, Pinoy din ako! 'Di ako fan ng SCQ pero ang galing, may .info domain ka! Magkano ang binayaran mo dun?(Translation is above)---But aren't they going to hold the same contest with a different batch? You must know someone related to ABS-CBN huh? That must be why you got the inside info. *glares*Shouldn't you guys translate your Filipino? It's not fair for those who don't know how. I thought I saw something about that in the rules... Or maybe it was just me... But I'm pretty sure I saw one about that.
  10. I despise MSWord. It's slow, it keeps crashing on me, and makes my other programs slower. Why on earth would a Word Processing program take so much memory!? Isn't WordPad a bit similar to MSWord? Why can't they make it as fast as that? They crammed too many stuff into it that makes it slower. For those of you who don't experience MSWord slowtime and crashes, good for you. As a result, I try not to use MSWord. I will if I have to, but, I hardly do.
  11. Yeah! If it's there, let's use it! What's the point of not doing so, it'll just be wasted. If we didn't need meat, then why is it here? If we don't need plants, then why are they here? If we didn't need water, why is it here? So it's best to make use of all the resources.
  12. Why make a virus? You don't become rich by doing it, everyone hates you... They must be seriously anti-social people. I spent some time contemplating on this when I got infected before. Why on earth will anyone do this? It's not like they gain something, they just cause a destructive chain reaction of destruction.Adware? Yeah, people hardly ever use their ads. We all hate those those pop-up ads especially when they show up in the most annoying of times. Those adware programs... Once, I got bombarded with tons of pop-ups (Firefox didn't exist then) I screamed my head off and grabbed my hair. It was driving me nuts.eXtreme, don't forget TROJANS! Your privacy has been breached. Once I had a Trojan, and my computer kept shutting down when I was connected to the net. I figured someone was controlling the computer and shutting it down. Oddly enough it was from REMOTE ASSISTANCE! (The one XP has) I never used that! I never agreed for someone to access my computer! Those "conveniences" Windows offers, sometimes paves a wide road for security loss. This is terrible.
  13. Huh? SATS are the easiest tests I ever took! I get the highest average in my class, especially in Vocabulary, Reading and Language. I find the exams much harder. They already made it easier, you just have to pick a letter. -_-Maybe it's just me. And oddly enough, I never study. 0_o NEVER. *Tinkers with head*
  14. To think someone will bring it up... I love that show! My favorite one was when they were testing the marching soldiers-bridge collapse myth. I loved those cute robots Jamie made. Oh, and I liked the one they did about the Chevy and the dead pigs. That was disgusting. I'm so addicted to that show, that when they ended the first season in SE Asia, and replaced it with American Chopper in the Friday timeslot, (it's on Wednessdays now) I went to the forum and complained. Our topic's still there.
  15. That's silly. Poems don't always rhyme. It's pretty good. Judging by the emotion you put in, it could only come from a true experience. It's a good poem.
  16. They're supposed to go public. It's impossible that they won't. But looking at how much invitations they're giving out, it's like they're public already.I remember when getting those invitations were rare, now, most people have them becuase a lot of people signed up for the newsletter and got an account. (Great I got an account through the newsletter when I already got invited...)I remember Google announcing that they will release it to the public sometime and they have invited people to test it out for them. So now that they're sending out a LOT of invitations, it's possible we're nearing the stage of Gmail becoming public. OK, that took a lot of thought...
  17. It looks very professional! I like it! It's like you made an official site. I'm not sure about the sound, though... Maybe it's just me, but it doesn't match the theme. I see you haven't finished it yet. But I bet that it'll be great once you finish! I mean it! It looks great! You're better at rollovers than I'll ever be. My rollover images take about a second of mouse over to work, which is slow. I like!
  18. Yes, limewire's a P2P. So you mean ladyspanky had to increase the font of the WHOLE message just to express a point?
  19. The finger news isn't there anymore. So I was too late.Anyway, that chicken head was sick. I can't stand looking at it. Boy, they sure are going to lose quite a lot of customers, don't you think? That's so sick... *cowers in fear* Heelp!
  20. I never knew that! This will be helpful when I'm going to choose between foods. Negative calories huh? That's pretty interesting. Thanks for the tip!
  21. Clicksor gives you $50 minimum every month VS. Google's $100 one.I don't use Clicksor though. It'll interfere with Adsense. Google has strict rules though, you know. 0_o You know I can understand the Adsense paranoia. Instead of giving you security, you feel afraid that something will go wrong since they're so strict.I share your sympahties.
  22. OK... Here I go.I can never draw like that. Of course it's expected that your teacher will draw something worth saying to yourself, I can never draw like that, because he has to be good to be a teacher. It's good enough. I don't want to criticize it harshly, because if I do so, it's like I'm saying I can do better, which I can't.So here's my review. It's good, but like the others I agree that there's something wrong with the shoulder over there.
  23. K-Lite is Kazaa without the ads. Are you shouting? Having no ads doesn't mean the P2P is the best. It has to be content. Are the people in the community sharing the files you want? So the favorite P2P varies. You can't argue about such things all day. Please use normal fonts, unless you wish to express a point.
  24. It works for me. Oddly enough, when I click my own ad on something that interests me. Google adds my click and and I get a few cents. Maybe it's because I use a Dial-up ISP. My IP changes everytime I connect. (So I'm always a unique visitor) But I don't click much on my ads though.
  25. Wow... you guys are making me hungry.1. Soup- It has to be creamy, and it shouldn't be seafood. I'd eat/drink most soup that I come across with. The soothing warmth of the revitalizing fluid brings me back to life.2. Pasta- Spaghetti, Lasagna... You name it! The taste of tomato gently bringing joy to my tastebuds. Oh, the bliss I feel. The smoothness and slipperyness of the pasta brings back joyful days.3. Pizza- Oooh. The smell of the melted mozzerella cheese. The juices flowing once you take a bite out of this delectable favorite! The happiness I feel in every bite. Oh, how I long for your taste once more...4. Steak- Well-done for me. I love steak. That taste of juicy goodness flowing from the piece of meat that gives me a warm feeling in every bite!5. Mashed Potatoes- The taste of potato and milk combined in the right amount makes me feel refreshed and relaxed. Oh yes, and the creamy yellow/white fluff touching my delicate lips. Such heavenly goodness.(Great when did a chef possess me?)
