I would say that there is a conflict in with some program or permissions.First check and see if the right click problem exist with the shared directories/files or with all the files/folders ?If it is a permission based conflict , then you would need to delete the account or fix the permissions to account.Otherwise, a newly installed software that has some association with right context menu, is the problem and needs to be uninstalledone more check .. Does your explorer crash when u right click on an empty space on the desktop ?

@Eukristian PCI-Ex v2 doesn't have any relation with 128 bit architecture of the Graphics Card. PCI Ex 2.0 has only increased bandwidth, be it 128 bit or 256 bit. A x16 PCI Express link hence offers the same bandwidth as PCI Express 2.0 at x8." - Taken from Tomshardware.com Though for some reasons nvidia has released 8600 with 128 bit, that doesn't mean its not supported on a PCI-Ex 2.0 slot. Or If i put a 9800 GX2 on a PCI-Ex 1.1, It would still work I am using a P45 based motherboard that Has PCI-Ex 2.0 and using an XFX 8600 GT on it, and guess what Its working fine And Even otherwise, I dont think there would be a considerable difference between PCI Ex 2.0 and 1.1 performance, besides supplying more power to the card I haven't heard anything great about the 2.0 specification yet.

I think that you are looking for a card that can support StarCraft 2 (Since even on-board cards like intel 3100 can run Splinter Cell 2 ) StarCraft 2 would require at least 128 MB graphic Memory It will support DX10 and Shader Model 2.0 considering that its going to allow very high and dynamic lightening effects, I would suggest you Go for at least a Mid segment card. Although an 8600 GT would do the job but you might want to go for 8800 GTS or GTX if you can. and if your budget permits you can also go for the new 9800 series graphics card. If you are an ATI fan you can look for Radeon 4850 and 4870 .. I personally think that these are great cards at an affordable price

Hi, I just noticed that my DVD-ROM has stopped the Autoplay feature. I have to right-click on the drive and select Auto-play to start the installation or stuff. Can anybody tell me where is it located in the registry ? i think something has messed up my registry for this autoplay Thanks

Hi, One of my really good friend has a CDMA phone that he claims has been replicated. Problem is , That his calls are being recorded from a third phone , which is not possible otherwise, Since neither the caller nor the called party knows about this, while the recording is being done. He came to know of this only when he got an email of the recording ?? ?? Is this possible ? As far as I know , to replicate a phone we need a SIM, which basically has the ESN and once that is copied I guess we can do such kind of things. But in this case its a CDMA, which is not dependent on SIM. How was this done and what should I advice him to do ? Would changing the handset solve this ? Thanks.I need a fast reply on this, since he's loosing a lot of business bcoz of this. For the time being he's using my Phone

I use a MotoMING . Great phone and a great 2.0 MP camera. I haven't seen a Macro mode in any other phone's camera. Works beautifully.

You have to find something called as "Stretch to Screen" or "Fit to Screen" option. Different manufactures put it in different places. Like in Sony(I use a T-Series), its under the right click and Graphic options. Just disable the option and you should see a square instead of a rectangle . I know its annoying, I've played AOE II in stretched mode.I haven't used an S3 Graphics card. I've only used GeForce since FX5200. So I don't know where it would be, but it would most probably be under your graphic card's options. You'll have to look for it.

Hi Steve, GIMP does support PSD files and it also supports filter factory. I guess its as good as Photoshop or may be better since its free I think one of friend told me that It can even edit Movie files like avi, which I think Photoshop doesn't allow. Personally , I have only used GIMP to make some button images for a website, So I can't comment much on the functionality part. I guess theres a documentation available online. Google for it . ----- I've used Ulead PHOTOIMPACT and I think that is also good for photoeditings. I've been using PHOTOIMPACT since version 4, so I find it quite comfortable as far as the controls are considered. Its around $50 but since I got it free , I am happy with it. I've also tried Bibble and Adobe Lightroom for editing RAW images. great piece of softwares and since they support my camera, I guess anyone can use it.

All Done.. I tried it with GIMP first but the effect was not so pleasant since it also extracted the yellow from the Rose's Base where the stem starts .. So I tried Photoimpact (since I have a full licensed of this only, I only had a demo of Adobe Photoshop). This was the first time i used this and its quite easy. I used a brush like tool that decolourized the whole thing. I just left the red part and extracted the colors from the rest of the image.I am attaching the Final Image. Although its the same as making a new mask layer and removing the colours from it, but a lot simpler.

Hi, I recently switched to a new motherboard ASUS P5Q. At first I liked the motherboard because of the features it has to offer but now its a complete turn-offFirst thing that I noticed was Realtek ALC1200 (thats the sound card) on this board is not allowing Jack retasking on the back panel. I don't have any front connections since my cabinet doesn't have these. Is this a problem or is it normal? I had Realtek audio in my other board (XFX 650i Ultra ) but this is the first time i've noticed this.Please suggest, what should I do. I seriously need that component, since My 5.1 connectors are quite FAT so I cannot plug it into the 2,3,5 configuration------------------- (1)o (2)o (3)o (4)o (5)o (6)o-------------------2 is Rear3 is Center/Sub5 is FrontMy problem is that my connectors are quite factI am attaching a screenshotanyways.. Happens to me all the time Most of the systems of my College were infected by some variants of a w32 virus. I believe one of your system is infected. Try using an effective antivirus to remove this. Dont use Nod32, I don't think it detects it. Heres the documentation for that virus http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I hope this helps

Hi, why do you need this anyways ? Most of the processors (even Celerons) can handle Linux distros properly so why go for a stripped down version. As some ppl have suggested, you might wanna go for DSL or something like that. You may also want to check Slax.org. Slax is a good option and pretty soon they'll be adding a customisation page to their site where you'll be able to get a complete customized Linux for your needs. And slax can also run off a pen drive And a 2 MB linux distro is not possible since the kernel itself takes up around 20-25 MB. I dont think its possible to cramp up a gui along with some good features in 2 mb.

Hey Emerger, I use a Lumix Fz-18. Since I bought it in Japan, i didn't notice this at first, but all the software that came along with this were in Japanese. Now, I don't even know a literal of japanese. The software for this RAW thingy is also japanese. I cant even read the name.. can u tell me what should i do to process the RAW images. Is there a freeware to read these. I tried irfanView but it cannot. As far as I know, the RAW for different camera manufacturers is different. Its like specific to that camera only. I am shooting in JPEGs only

Hi, I am also stuck with PHP installation.. My Apache is working properly but I am not able to see any php pages . .. I tried to check PHP with the following code but it ONLY shows the HTML part and no PHP info.. I have configured PHP on another machine but i cant remember what I am missing this time Its like php is not even reading it .. I think apache is configured properly since it displays Apache/2.2.9 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 on the status bar of apache service monitor I am a big n00b with this .. Pls help My php and Apache installations are in D:\ and I have used a zip package for PHP and an Installer for PHP. I hope this will help I am also attaching the config files for both .. I dont have much knowledge about this but i think D-Link and Netgear are good. I've used a D-Link router for over 5 yrs without any problems, though it was a wired one.
