Forum database was not damaged during the upgrade.The forum database was damaged sometime during massive spam attack in our forum between 1st and 20th of this month. And that plus 100+ new posts made about every hour and allowing members with low hosting credits to continuely post during our upgrade could have resulted in this calamity.Although we strongly advertise all hosting members to keep hosting credits above 10 credits at all times, we cannot force members to comply with this. And so closing the board would not have been a suggestible option.However it happened, once again we apologize for your inconvenience. Build up your hosting credits by contributing with quality posts and re-apply for hosting.Thank you.

All members lost credits in an average of 5--some more than a single digit.Sometimes the upgrade takes toll on member's accounts and I do sincerely apologize for that. However, HOSTED members losing hosting credits can lead to account suspensions if they failed to keep it above 10 hosting credits. Fortunately, you did not activate your hosting account and as a result you are still better off then some of hosting members.Please accept our apology and start rebuilding your credits and contribute with quality posts.

The forum database must've been damaged larger than expected... this is what you trying to keep the forum open while 100+ new posts are created every hour and updating the forum.I regret that you feel our hosting solution would not meet your demands. I will change your forum name to your request and good luck with a new hosting, should you decide to leave.

Trap17 forum encourages healthy topic discussions. However, if discussions cannot remain civil and ends up performing nothing but personal attacks, it's no better than not discussing at all.If any member cannot understand that this is the place for intellectual debates, I will have to ask you to refrain your point of view in our forum.Thank you.

As it was instructed in Alerts And Notices section, those accounts activated during our forum database down have to re-activate hosting by the Process page.Mystixs you are still approved for hosting and so simply go to the Process page and activate your hosting.

Cannot Continue means the server is busy. Since the PM system is down, post your cPanel username and I will terminate your hosting for you.

Shining, As of now, two of your posts were moved to Spam section for not complying with our board rules. You should know by now what is considered as quality post contribution and the importance of topic title.For topics cannot be found under a certain section, please check your profile and search for topic post or topic started option to track down the thread. I have been moving posts around to place it under the correct forum section. Some are affected by the database loss during the upgrade and some are the result of topic move.

You sure can.Access your cPanel and go to Site Management Tools/ Backup. Click on "Generate/Download a Full Backup" and just enter your another server's FTP information. Once the backup of your selected directory is complete Xisto's cPanel will upload to your designated FTP account automatically.Ain't this cPanel feature cool?

I will repeat and repeat until everyone understand the Xisto's clustered servers--Xisto FORUM and Xisto HOSTING servers are two completely different servers. Please, this has been covered so many times that I sound like a broken record that keeps on spinning. Frankly, I'm getting bit dizzy

Due to our forum database errors I have suspended hosting approval until all can be checked out. The forum database was repaired today 3:30pm GMT-5 but I want to make sure it's stable before any more can be added/modified to the database. OpaQue has been alerted so that he can stablize the forum's database. I apologize for all those who are waiting for Xisto Free Web Hosting, No Ads request. And furthermore a sincere thanks to those who were patient during our forum's database outage. Recent applicants! If you activated our free web hosting recently and have noticed that your GROUP hasn't changed from Member to [HOSTED] please contact me immediately. When the WHM script runs and finds that your member group does not match up with hosting accounts, your account will be terminated immediately without warning.

Ah... a honest report ;)Please backup all your files and terminate your hosting (go to the Process page). And reactivate your hosting again.The forum's database outage cause hosting account and forum account to asynchronize. Both information must be synchronized otherwise your account will be automatically terminated in few short days.Since you have not lost any credits, it should not effect you during the termination process.Thank you.

I have so far deleted only those topics with ZERO replies--meaning only the spam topics have been deleted, no other member's posts. And this dates only from 2004-early 2005.So finding your hosting credits affected is highly unlikely at the moment. Are you sure you lost that much, you two?

This is the final announcement regarding spam post and reply to spam.All spam post should be replied to moderators by using REPORT feature. However, please do not point out the spam post by replying to the spam post itself. This makes it harder to control the spam post and spamming member.Spam posts already exisiting shall be deleted by ADMINS and if you replied to deleted posts your hosting credit will be subtracted accordingly. This is nothing new--it's been mentioned and requested that all spam topics to be reported rather than replying to the spam post.Prepare to work on your hosting credits if any hosting member replied to spam!!Moderators who are uncertain of deleting the spam topic, please move it to STTBA section. It is possible that your firewall, ad blocker or anti-spyware (live protect) can delay from loading the forum in the given speed. I am currently loading less than 6 seconds with my firewall software running and almost instantaneous without it. The forum server and hosting server are two different servers. You need not to worry about the performance of hosting server. If you're referring to sql.safe_mode this is also OFF.

CNAME cannot be handled by your cPanel. Only the DNS control can manage your CNAME.cPanel can only manage MX at the most with very limited ability.Google Apps for Domain is exactly as it is written--for Domains only. If you have a sub-domain from Xisto.com you cannot take advantage of Google Apps for Domain.
