1. ...because 69.50.188.19 belongs to ns2.psychz.net. The email is originated from that site and since many of you have "catch all" as your setting in cPanel's email setting, you are receiving a message directed towards, i.e. anyone@yoursite.com. Since you do not host with psychz.net, they are sending you their version of error message. Using the correct nameserver for Xisto will correct this matter. I'm not sure if you read my post but read it again. And I don't believe it's a marketing tactic from one of the competitors but a simply an error on some of our member's DNS setting. Or it could be that the IP used for ns1.trap17.com is a shared nameserver that hosts other nameservers. Nevertheless, it seems like this issue has been resolved. ----- Until another message like this is received, this topic is closed -----
2. Just wanted to point out that if you had 9 hosting credits and went away for 8 days, when you return you'll have 1 hosting credit left. 1 hosting credit = 1 day of free active hosting account. You should be able to search the forum for other answers but I'll post some key information here: When you are approved for hosting and activate it, your hosting credit will reset to 2. So initial choice of plan 1 or plan 2 will reset to 2 hosting credits once activated. This is done so that a member does not accumulate hundreds of hosting credits before activating a hosting and only deduct 10 or 30 credits, respectively. If you start with plan 1 and wanted to upgrade to plan 2 later, it'll take additional 30 credits and it WILL reset to 2 hosting credits after the activation--no matter how much you have accumulated. In my signature area, you'll find some of key topics that every member should read. Please refer to them and if there are more questions, feel free to post.
3. This topic was brought to my attention for being an old one. But I think I might know why emails were originated from psychz.net and to most Xisto users. I was replying to one of our nameserver IP topic and noticed that some (few or less) members might be using IP address to enter as the namesever under their DNS control. And mistakenly ns1.trap17.com and ns2.trap17.com IP's are circulating as 69.50.188.18 and 69.50.188.19. This is incorrect check here to verify. The IP address of 69.50.188.19 belongs to ns2.psychz.net. If you have entered IP address as Xisto nameserver please do not use the second IP address. Xisto's nameservers are: ns1.trap17.com ns2.trap17.com And if you HAVE to use IP addresses, the correct IPs are: 64.5.44.113 209.152.167.59 Some have made a comment that using 69.50.188.18 and 69.50.188.19 works just fine. It's because the first nameserver (69.50.188.18) is resolving to your hosing account. When 69.50.188.18 fails, it will switch over to 69.50.188.19 and that is when psychz.net will be notified and send back the appropriate message.
4. I don't mean to be a smarty pants but if you are checking your email just about everyday, I'm sure you can check Xisto forum everyday as well right? You don't need to post but checking the forum's main page will give you a visual cue when to make your post(s) so that your hosting account does not go suspended. And your second post is off topic (because your topic title is directed towards Low Credit warning) but I believe the search limit is at least 4 letter word(s)--not using the Google/Xisto.com search but the forum's original search line. For example, you cannot search for "php" but if you search for "formmail" it returns just fine. This is the very reason why the board's rule is not to name your topic title as: plz help, help me, I need help, etc. As you can see it is very important to name your title with the core word that could summarize your post with few short words. It is time to hand out warnings for poorly chosen topic titles.By the way, have you tried to use Google/Xisto.com search engine? It's awesome!
5. beeseven was awarded with 10 credits today, Sept. 9th 7:12PM GMT-5. Congratulations!
6. So I'm assuming that you have the correct hosting plan and everything is just sweet peachy? Good. ----- Topic closed -----
7. What advertising? Subdomain means a domain name under another one. So yourname.trap17.com is actually a domain name under Xisto.com. The TOS says that you are provided with a FREE SUBDOMAIN name. Xisto does not provide free domain name. OpaQue has in his signature where to purchase inexpensive domain name. And that's why there are few dozen of topics related to cheap domain names. Now you get it?
8. So we solve the problem. Because you changed your domain name using the name changing script without FIRST owning that name, both your subdomain.trap17.com and your name said in your cPanel isn't working with your hosting. You either purchase a domain name or change it back to youName.trap17.com. Either way it will cost another 15 credits.Topic is closed if there aren't any more RELEVANT questions.
9. It proves that your site is working but your domain name is screwed up. That is the first diagnosis. The second is what does your cPanel says your domain name is? Is it niiice.com or niiice.trap17.com? If it's pointing to niiice.com did you purchase this domain name? Because the domain name have not expired or will be in few years. This leads me to believe that you do not own that domain name. That means you pointed to someone else's domain. So you need to change your domain name. Do some researches before you change/purchase a domain name. If you were planning to purchase niiice.com you won't be able to. If you are planning to purchase niiice.net you should soon because according to whois no one owns it.
10. Who "THEY" are you talking about? Have you tried to log in through http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ to your cPanel? Since your niiice.trap17.com does not exist of course you can't access your cPanel using niiice.trap17.com/cpanel Try the IP link and tell us if you can or cannot access it. And make sure you post at least 3 sentences explaining in detail what you have done and tried. One more one liners and you will be warned.
11. First of all, your cPanel has to point to your subdomain name. Secondly you change to domain name that you do not own. How could you expect that to work when you don't own niiice.com? You wanted to point hosting to niiice.net. But do you own it? According to whois, no body has purchased that domina. Therefore, you are pointing your hosting to empty air. http://www.domaintools.com/ for your information.

Microsoft Please remember that remark such as yours is considered as SPAM--one liner without contribution--please be more thoughtful next time when replying or posting.
14. Don't forget to go the the process link https://support.xisto.com/ to activate your upgraded hosting plan. Once the process has been completed you will see the correct information on your cPanel.
15. Yup, I enter the above link as image. For example, and this is what it looks like I guess displaying text as a graphic isn't really working for any forum...
16. ----- Topic answered, thread closed -----
17. I edited my random.txt to be single spaced. I edited so that it shows as ## This prints the banner, quotes or random text, or whatever is in the random.txt fileecho "$RandomRotator"; as the last line. But it fails. Here is the link http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ and see if you can work it out.
18. Since your previous account has been terminated, you will need to reapply for a new account--as though you are applying it for the first time. You may choose to go with package #2 if you need the space and allowed bandwidth per month. Otherwise you can start with package #1. You know how it goes. But since you have 30 credits already, post bit more and go ahead and apply for #2.Welcome back!
19. I like the looks of #1. I like the way it's dark around corners and gives a focus that it deserves to the center of the sig. But if you are going to put (or balance the sig area) that colorful border/fill-in(?) I voted for #2. Yeah, show off the designs if you are going to make it that noticeable with bright colors. Otherwise bring down colors to more mute and blend it in (as in #1).
20. Don't get me wrong. I love this signature. It's almost like a patch--I think I'll print this on a t-shirt paper and iron it on. And I like Donald the Duck. But am I still that rigid to the forum? lmao Am I grumpy all the time? Just what are you trying to say?? :)It's all good. You know that I have sense of humor, right? Thanks for the gift. I'll place it well in my signature area.
