  1. Hello there and welcome to Xisto. In my signature area you will find important links that all new users should read. Take a look through and read them all before making a new topic. We appreciate all members joining Xisto.com. And I don't know what is going on with Xisto.net but I'll try to find out. Xisto.NET is ad supported where Xisto.com has better professional appeal with zero forced ads and better control over your hosting.Once again, good to see you as our member and if there are any question feel free to post them.
  2. I wonder if OpaQue can force those members who are abusing or misusing SQL to host their SQL on another host so that other members can use Xisto server with peace. I am getting tired of people thinking that it's Xisto's server issue when over 99% of the time it's someone messing with SQL.
  3. You can see the page because you have that page in your hard-drive. Take a look at the link information. It's calling to your hard-drive. When I see your page it shows up as blank page with "Unable to Display" just under your page graphics (a png file) and shoutboxes to the right hand side. Take a look at your coding and see if your links are all HTTP links and not FILE or RES links.
  4. I can see your website but your index page shows as "Page Cannot Be Displayed" because one of your link indicates re as the target source. I made a shout to your shoutbox. Correct this link issue and see if it revives itself. Otherwise there must been a problem during your activation (either you didn't wait until the full confirmation during account set up or the server had a hiccup).
  5. Hi there, In my signature there are links which most of your questions might be answered. Check out cPanel Demo page link. This will tell you the exact path to CGI. Please make sure that you are using QUOTE tags when using someone else's words. To use QUOTE tags [QUOTE] << insert exactly >> [/QUOTE] Observe other forum rules and BB codes. And before making a new topic search the forum. It's a must! I hope this answers your question.

    Hey

Please use my signature links as your reference to familiarize yourself with our board rules. We keep strict tabs on people who do not obey the rules. One liners or few words post is considered as SPAM (and not the good kind either). You will find that we have many members from vast age ranges. It is imperative that you stay within our guidance and have fun at the same time. ^_^Thank you.
  7. Fair warning. If this thread is updated with posts that should be quoted because it was copied from name dictionary, I shall close this thread down and give everyone who copied warnings!
  8. Does anybody pay attention to my signature anymore? Why do I even bother...Check my signature. I have spent the past 3 month searching the forum to bring the key links to our members.
  9. Please STOP!You are all aware of FAQ's and there are other posts that discuss the same question over and over again. Please learn to READ past topics AND learn to search before making a new topic. This only shows that you are posting to gain hosting credits.Topics closed. Use my signature links to learn more about this forum's rules and requirements to stay hosted.Thank you.
  10. It reminds me of Skittles and Punky Bruster (no not the band but 70?s TV show). At first I did not like it. It?s way to happy for my eyes and the uneven socks just drives me crazy! I guess I have some sort of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. But the more I stare at it I cannot look away! What have you done to me Becca! I have been hypnotized by pretty rainbows? It?s an interesting approach to a simple term. Good work.
  11. Update It is determined and confirmed that it is JohnBoy's personal computer issue. While the computer issue is being resolved please be patient and do try to access your cPanel using another machine. Topic is now closed.
  12. niloc's problem has resolved niloc terminated his hosting account, re-gathered his credits and re-activated hosting (which rendered complete deleting and resetting of hosting space) corrected the name resolving issue. This topic is now closed.
  13. I am looking at your subdomain and it has a picture titled "Quick Hiatus!" Is that right?Perhaps it just needed few hours for the subdomain to propagate. I also see that there's a pop-up. Did you install that or am I looking at the wrong place?
  14. Just because I had one member having the same problem but it wasn't with cPanel. When you click on this link http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ what actually happens? Do you see Windows login pop-up window (asking for username and password) or does it go directly to the "Cannot find server" page? If it's the second case, I think your current browser is either not capable of making a secure logon or your browser turned off something (I don't know since member name wow figured it out) that prevents from showing you the login window.
  15. LOL!!No I wouldn't host pornographic picture in your host. What I would do is make a simple picture with text that says, "Thank you for stealing my picture, you thief!" and rename it to the file name that other sites are taking. It's a bit pain in your end but you can then rename all pictures that are being hotlinked to something else.I hate to see YOU get punished by Xisto's TOS for trying to protect your intellectual copyright.
  16. I predicted that Sox would win but by 4-1. At least I felt that Astros would have a lucky break. But the 3rd game really devastated them, somehow. Boy, what a game, huh? I stayed up all night watching the game and I'm so glad I did. It was the decisive moment for both teams--and when Sox won that game, I saw the defeat in team Astros.1917 is no more!
  17. How are we suppose to give you any input when you didn't even include a sample of what you wish for us to help you?
  18. I forget how the Unix command works but what would happen if you leave out the .. before /image/picture.jpg? Will it look for image directory within the subdirectory or from the root directory? Anyway, see what happens to your pictures if you leave out .. But in case it does not work try it with the full path It might be a pain in the neck but if you have any editing software use the F3 key and see if there's "replace with" option. It's lot easier to replace everything that starts with ../image with http://www.histology-world.com/image/
  19. You can only program it (write yourself a code which is available in our forum, search for "redirect" in tutorial or the search engine) to go from Xisto.com to your new site when you have yourName.trap17.com as your domain. When you changed from youName.trap17.com to your TLD (top level domain) you lost your Xisto's subdomain. Therefore, you cannot program anything to redirect from your Xisto to TLD.And no, Xisto does not offer URL redirect when you don't have subdomain of Xisto.
  20. I'm assuming this is your secondary hard drive. You must be more specific when you post your issues.Your operating system does not find your newly installed hard drive under "My Computer" because it's not formatted yet. See? ^_^To format the right way (fresh installed blank hard drive) access yourAdministrative tools > Computer management > Storage > Disk Management and right click on the new drive (it should be DISK 1) and select format.Or you can follow the manufacture supplied new hard drive installation disk and complete the process.
  21. It's because you changed your nameserver to Xisto recently and has not propagated yet. And to acceess your cpanel using IP address it's http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ not IP/cpanel.
  22. I would like to add to the post with this information.Compaq does not have an actual BIOS chip. Compaq's innovative, then it was thought, ways of storing the entire flashable BIOS information on the hard drive sometimes can lead to the entire computer crash--face it hard drives are not that reliable. To access the BIOS in Compaq, until this date either desktop or laptop, boot up your computer and watch for flashing white cursor block on upper right hand corner and press F10, just as COMPAQ's red flash screen appears. It may not reset itself by tapping but you can surely access the BIOS information and set/reset settings if you need.Majority of BIOS for PC hardware have agreed on either DEL or F1 key during the POST (Power-On Self Test).
  23. Due to popular demand Xisto has modified the forum with dedicated GOOGLE section. We are still in the process of sorting things out but please use the search before making a new post. Please continue your Google Moon discussion here http://forums.xisto.com/topic/24874-google-moon-a-new-service/ Thank you. ----- Topic Closed -----
  24. http://www.histology-world.com/art/art.htm In your HTM file, how did you coded to call a particular picture? is it like this? <img src="/image/picture.jpg"> or like this? <img src="http://www.histology-world.com/contents/contents.htm;? Just for fun, before you reply to this message enter this under your two lists http://69.50.188.18 I don't know why I'm asking you to do that but that all I can think of. There's another checkbox under the allowed hotlink protection something like 'allow direct URL call' Check to see if that helps you (although I wouldn't check that but try it). Only you have the access to the cPanel or anyone who knows your username and password. At any circumstances you are to be careful with giving those information but I'd be okay to have a look (this by the way is also against TOS and I hope I'm not banned ). But let's try above mothods first then we'll talk. If you can post codes for your art.htm that would be nice (at least the part that calls for images).
