I am also thankful that I became a part of Xisto family, the community that will be inscribed to my memories. My wish for today is that our government's fiscal crisis will be turned around to much stable situation. I wish that my town's budget is balanced so that hard working class is suffering no longer. I wish for the things that to be different for the better future. I wish that we all wish for the same peace and harmony that will save this planet. And I hope that our troops will one day return home and we shall embrace them not with our prejudice but with honor and respect. Everyone says that this war's been like that of Vietnam. Well let's not repeat the same mistake of shunning out our troops when they return. Whether it's right or wrong the bottom line is that they are torn away from their families and they need all our support. It's a classic example of over purchase :)Only ONE router should be present and currently, by your setting, make your wireless router a wireless ACCESS POINT. This will make your VoIP router to issue intranet IP and your wireless router will not try to resolve that.But if VoIP is from Linksys, it's better to have the wireless router as the only router and connect VoIP at the end. How many computers do you have that you need two routers? If you installed wireless router to roam around your house, place the wireless router in the middle and then add VoIP at the end.There is also a good chance that if you have cordless telephone, it might be interferring with your wireless channel. Switch your wireless channel from 1 thru 11(?) and see which works the best.

guangdian,What you are advising is how to set the nameserver and point the domain to the hosting. A record should not be changed at all! If the master nameserver is changed the A record is over-written automatically. So you see, A record advice is wrong in this case.The member simply want to keep Xisto's sub-domain yet another domain name to point to a particular directory/forum to Xisto's sub-domain. Please stop giving incorrect advices because your advice already caused much trouble with two members in the past.

guangdian, wrong advice!What ciroxyz is looking for is URL masking script. I know I've seen it here but I'm still searching. In the mean time google it by using key words URL MASKING SCRIPT and if you want your browser's status bar to hide the original website use the key words STATUS BAR MASKING SCRIPT.I know this because I once considered using it...but then I purchased a domain name and that all went away.Remember, you are resorting to this option since you are pointing to a specific directory using a domain name. See if you can find a control panel in your domain control something like "URL RE-DIRECT" I know that will work without any add-on scripts because Yahoo does it (my domain registrar) and CO.NR does it too.

Normally you have to wait 24-48 hours before your purchased domain name is propagated through out the internet world. Sit tight and wait until it is recognized with your settings. You can check it by pinging your purchased domain's name using your command prompt. When you type ping http://www.yourdomain.com/ it should reply back with IP address 69.50.188.18. Then, you are now properly propagated and all set to go.

I would have voted for Avalon too. By the way, I did a photo shoot about last year very similar to your render. It was for a local band that wanted a cover for their album and I had a member just taking off the sunglasses and the reflection of the rest of the band... it was nice in black and white.But, as I digress, the theme for this sig was Hi-Tech. There are currently 28 words that will trip the board censor--bad words block. Some of them were added after the post was made, therefore it was not censored. The word that turned happy is the adjective of a word. Due to having vast range from 13 thru 60+ age members, I felt it was this board's responsibility to censor certain words that are commonly used on the streets but should not be used in the contexts in this forum. As TOS states (you should really read before asking any other questions) that only 1 hosting account per person. In the past we had members trying to fraud the TOS by creating another account and asking for another hosting account. We will find out and when we do, both hosting account will be terminated immediately and banned from our services.There are two ways of doing this. 1) Xisto has brother site called Xisto.com. Headed by the same owner, Xisto offers the same service as Xisto. The Xisto forum is geared towards more technical aspects of discussions and topics so feel free to browse around to see if that forum is also right for you. Xisto Corporation allows 1 account in Xisto and 1 account in Xisto.2) You can create sub-domains from 1 hosting. For example, you were granted for esp.trap17.com account. Using the cPanel you can create your own sub-domain, i.e. user.esp.trap17.com or you can do esp.user.trap17.com if you apply for your own sub-domain first. This is probably easier since you only have to manage 1 account to host for 2 different sites.

Correct. As long as you do not HOST (store in your hosting space, provide links, etc) any law breaking materials you are allowed to have your webpage however you see it fit. Reviewing the TOS can reveal that you may host any website style/content as long as it does not break the TOS and your idea of "virtual business card" is not breaking TOS.

Answer: You have not activated your hosting account. Your Group has not changed to HOSTED (just under your name and member rank. I don't see your cPanel name so would you reply to this thread with your cPanel username and your URL? If you purchased a domain name then just provide me with your cPanel name. Thank you.

First of all you're missing the command to excute the PHP code... that's why it's not showing up. Try this, <html><body><?PHPinclude("/home/public_html/directory/show_news.php");?></body> Where "directory" is if you installed it in the sub-directory. Anyway this code should be straight up front. If this does not work, just type the URL to show_news.php. If this does not show up by itself then there's something wrong with your CuteNews.

Any way, if my memory serves me right you have to login to the LOGIN page where you enter your admin name (if something else) and password and you get to the control panel. There you'll see the option for synchronize or connect your news database to news feed. It depends on the style you want and you really need to read CuteNews FAQ's. I suggest you choose the news feed. The next page will give you the code to enter. All you have to do is copy that code to your webpage you want to insert/view/to show up. Remember it's PHP code so your webpage should be in .php extension.

I just wanted to let you all know this is the official words from OpaQue (which I deleted). But basically you have the green light to place your graphics in your gallery instead of using image shack or photo bucket. In fact, OpaQue will be delighted if someone would actually use the Gallery!!! :PThis means, you can create an album called "SIGS" and "AVATARS" and let people browse them and give comments--at the same time you can use it to link it to your post. So it's all in the same area and no need to worry about image not showing up.I would like to make the same announcement in the graphics area but I'm sure the word will spread.Thank you all.
