  1. My favourite brand of clothing is FuMan Skeeto. I don't buy them for their name though...ok, well, I do...but hardly anybody knows what it is so, does that still count? I also buy them because I like their colours and styles. Their quality is also very good compared to anything I can buy where I live. The only problem I have is that the company has now closed down so I can't get their clothes anymore. :(Other than that, I don't really go for brands names in clothing. Except for shoes...I buy Colorado because they're the most comfortable for me. I just buy what I like and what feels comfortable. Half the time I don't even buy what's in fashion, so it takes me ages to find clothes I like. :lol:My brother, on the other hand, has always gone for brand names and what's in fashion. I think he had a hard time in school when he was younger with fitting in, so he started buying brand name clothes to look 'cool'. Now he's in with the 'cool' kids, so I hope it's worth it for him...If people buy brand names because they're comfortable I think that's fine, I mean why not? But if someone does it just to look cool, I think that's a little sad...What makes people cool is their personality on the inside, not their clothes on the outside.
  2. I am doing a computer science course at University. I only just started it a few months ago so I still have years to go. I don't know if I like it or not. It just seems to be going over everything I already know so it seems to me like a waste of time. Maybe it's because I've only just started the course though, so they're just going through the basic stuff to begin with, then will progress to harder stuff later. I hope so...
  3. My favourite cartoon is Fairly Odd Parents. I think Cosmo is so funny! I like the Chip Skylark episodes too...they're so cool. Other cartoons I like are The Simpsons, Futurama, The Smurfs...I know there's more but I can't think.
  4. My favourite things are:-- Music- Internet- Family (including pets )- Fairly OddParents- Pixy Stix- Mexican food- Laughing- Ice skating, in-line skating- Bright blueI know there's more than that but that's all I can think of for now.
  5. Cool game! It is very addictive. The only thing I don't like is it takes a few seconds to register what I type and by then the time's run out. I think that's just because of my slow Internet connection though. It's still a cool game.
  6. I chose all of the above because my computer time varies from day to day depending on what I'm doing, and what I need it for. A lot of the time I need it for more than five hours because I run 4 websites, I'm doing an online Computer Science course at Uni, and I also like to use the computer for fun things that interest me like chatting, visiting random websites, etc. So between all that, I spend a lot of time on the computer. I actually spend more time on the computer than I do watching TV.
  7. I've only been to the US once, and only for a couple of weeks so I don't really know what my favourite states are. Florida and California seemed to have the most attractions though so I will say them. I think Pennsylania has a really cool name too so I'll make it another one of my favourites.
  8. I like dogs the best. I have two and they're so loyal, and smart, and fun, and cute, and cuddly. They're like my best friends.I also think birds, frogs and lizards would be pretty cool pets. I wouldn't mind a pet dragon either.
  9. WOO! I have candy cane coloured pipes!! How cool! The quotes file wasn't there on my computer. Oh well, the screen saver worked. Now I just gotta try the log-in screen.
  10. I just did a Google search for this and it sounds like it might be spyware, not a virus. What you could do to try and get rid of it is to reboot your computer into safe mode, run a scan with AVG again and then see if you can delete the files while your in safe mode.If that doesn't work, another option would be to locate the files on your computer and manually delete them yourself. Hope this helps!
  11. Very well said! I agree with you 100%!!I know many people, one in particular, who sterotype people just on their interests and tastes, and it's very sad. Somehow they just think that everything that they think and do is right, and anyone who doesn't agree, or does something differently is stupid and wrong.I wish people would start looking at peoples' personalities instead of what they look like, or what they're interested in.
  12. I watch Rove every week. It's one of my favourite shows, and one of the few that I try not to miss.My favourite segments are 'What The...?' and 'My Charader'. The new segment where Pete's been interviewing people is pretty funny too. Some of my favourite things that have happened on the show were when Ranger Stacey brought in all these insects and one of the stick insects crawled onto Rove's face . I also liked when Rove was interviewing Lano and Woodley and they decided to share all the jelly beans with the audience so they threw the whole bowl of them up into the air and got them all over the floor.I liked when Rove interviewed Robin Williams, that guy is funny! lol and the Will Smith interviews were pretty good too with Rove's amazing *Pa-chang* boxing skills, and Will's "old man walk". lolSo, how many people here watch Rove? What are your favourite segments of the show? And what have some of your favourite parts of the show been?
  13. I voted for mexican. I love spicy foods. My favourite food of all is tacos, then burritos. Yummy!
  14. I use Colgate. The normal white peppermint flavoured kind.
  15. I think that there a a lot of really big issues today. What I think is the most important though is education.Without education, we will never be able to find a cure for cancer (or any disease for that matter). Without education, we will never be able to advance in technology. We will never be able to find a way to end poverty. We wouldn't be able to understand politics to be able to elect a good leader and politions (really, I think it's hard enough to understand now WITH an education lol). So yep, education...then we can keep advancing to find solutions for all the other problems in the world.
  16. It looks pretty good. I'm not sure if I like the colours or not. It's a bit plain for my liking, but that could change once you get all your content in.The only thing that I would really change is that I would move the 'Menu' and 'Feature' menus over to the side and widen your main content window. There just seems to be a lot of blank space on the sides that isn't being used for anything, that you could make use of somewhere else.
  17. I haven't seen that site before. It looks pretty cool. I might go back and have a better look at it later. It probably is the first forum for Gmail because I've only ever seen websites for it...never a foum before.
  18. LOL Those are all good. I've heard some of them before, but they're still good. Here's some more...Late one afternoon, the Air Force folks out at Area 51 were very surprised to see a Cessna landing at their "secret" base. They immediately impounded the aircraft and hauled the pilot into an interrogation room. The pilot's story was that he took off from Las Vegas, got lost, and spotted the Base just as he was about to run out of fuel. The Air Force started a full FBI background check on the pilot and held him overnight during the investigation.By the next day, they were finally convinced that the pilot really was lost and wasn't a spy. They gassed up his airoplane, gave him a terrifying "you-did-not-see-a-base" briefing, complete with threats of spending the rest of his life in prison, told him Las Vegas was that-a-way on such-and-such a heading, and sent him on his way.The next day, to the total disbelief of the Air Force, the same Cessna showed up again. Once again, the MP's surrounded the plane...only this time there were two people in the plane. The same pilot jumped out and said, "Do anything you want to me, but my wife is in the plane and you have to tell her where I was last night!" -------------Doctor! I have a serious problem, I can never remember what i just said. When did you first notice this problem? What problem? --------------In a long line of people waiting for a bank teller, one guy suddenly started massaging the back of the person in front of him. Surprised, the man in front turned and snarled, "Just what the hell are you doing?""Well," said the guy, "I'm a chiropractor and I could see that you were tense, so I had to massage your back. Sometimes I just can't help practicing my art!""That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" the guy replied. "I work for the IRS. Do you see me screwing the guy in front of me?" ------------------One bright, beautiful Sunday morning, everyone in tiny Smithville wakes up early and goes to their local church. Before the service starts, the townspeople sit in their pews and talk about their lives, their families, etc.Suddenly, at the altar, Satan appears!! Everyone starts screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in their determined efforts to get away from Evil Incarnate.Soon, everyone is evacuated from the church except for one man, who sit calmly in his pew, seemingly oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy is in his presence. This confuses Satan a bit.Satan walks up to the man and says, "Hey, don't you know who I am?"The man says, "Yep, sure do."Satan says, "Well, aren't you afraid of me?"The man says, "Nope, sure ain't."Satan, perturbed, says, "And why aren't you afraid of me?""Well, I've been married to your sister for 25 years."
  19. The second link worked for me... It looks cool. I like what you did to the shadow too. Although I'm not sure how an invisible person is supposed to cast a shadow...oh well . Well done! I wish I was that good in Photoshop.
  20. Cooool, new computer. The RAM looks a little low, but it's still higher than on my comp . Everything else looks excellent. Congratulations!
  21. LOL I know what you mean! I too have a dial-up connection and it drives me crazy. To make things worse, it only runs at half speed, sometimes less, because we have a bad connection and that's the fastest we can get.
  22. I'm scared of heights, so I'd be most scared to be anywhere really high up where I can see all the way to the ground. Like, on the balcony of a really tall building or something. I also wouldn't like to be out in the woods with no torch...you never know what kind of creepy crawlies are out there! (I hate spiders!! And they seem to come out mostly at night...)I wouldn't like to be locked up in a tiny little area either. Especially if I couldn't see outside. I have to be able to see outside.
  23. I have no idea, but I would like to know...I have to take pills each day that my doctor prescribed me because apparently I don't get enough iron in my diet. The problem is, I keep forgetting. I'd like to know how much I have to eat, and of what, so I don't have to take the pills.Actually, I should probably just check the packet, it might say something on there...
  24. Here's my results: I'm kinda surprised. I'm always getting told I'm antisocial so I thought I'd get more for that. oh well...guess everyone else is wrong!
