Same here, I use notepad to type out the entire css file which I think it might be easier and more precise... Perhaps you can try out Dreamweaver or something or you can go to some css tutorial site which will teach you how to create css stylesheet from scratch...

Yea, that is very true... However, if one doesnt set them up according to their preference or get lost somewhere in the middle of it you'll definitely have a hard to keeping up and setting them back... Those permission setting really confuse me sometimes and you have to allow inhert of permission from other forum or they dont set them up for you... It really isnt for those new user now so I mentioned that it isnt that "user-friendly" and might not work for those who wants to set up their forum immediately... It requires days of study before officially opens the board...(Yea, I mean it...)

Well, after I have set it up, and yesterday I went to figure out how the new version works and where all functions are I find that the new version is very cool!! I'll definitely go for this free board instead of InvisionFree now, but the technology of all these forum is rising and the new ZetaBoards is coming to replace IF and I cant really say which is the best board now as both forum software has not been reaching their official release state but phpBB 3 has definitely won my vote now... You should try this new board, their admin cp works like wonder after you get them correctly set up...

I have installed in it my site, but I havent launch it out yet and I'm just testing the function out... Its not quite user friendly now and it does requires some knowledge of the php enviornment and how it works... I get some trouble here and there and finally got it fixed out... There's a lot of new features and their new features are working fine and working towards those paid boards like IPB and vBulletin... They just lack of some new layout in their boards but the admin cp really works great for me now and much much more organise than before... (although there're times where I still cannot find some functions of the board)btw, is there any mods or hacks available for phpBB3.0 beta 2 already? I would be eager to test them up!

Website development is usually easier and require lesser cost and programming knowledge and easier to construct... It just requires the html knowledge, and some programming language which you want to build your website like php or asp etc...However, application programming requires more study into the language and more brainstorming and using programming language like java, C++ etc... I would prefer website development as its much simple than application wherease application software development can do more thing and its more flexible in solving problems...

That's because maybe they purchase ome sort of license or approval from IPB to host IPB 1.3 or they claim to make it legal as IPB 1.3 was once a free software to use... Now its not allowed anymore unless you purchase a license from IPB and use their new verion of IPB 2.1.7...

Maybe Xisto can offer free domain and then Xisto has the fullest control over the domain and we can only use the domain on Xisto hosted accounts, which will kill off those freeloader trying to get their hands on a free domain... Well, having a free domain on our Xisto hosted accounts will sure look good on us, I wouldnt mind posting more for that lol..

Frankly speaking, SMF isnt a very good board and they can never be compared to paid boards like IPB and vBulletin... And please, IPB is a more well known and renown board, they can really attract more members than SMF and usually members goes for paid boards like IPB and vBulletin instead of free boards like SMF or phpBB... And a change of board would require a full load of work including a porting over of databases and a rescript of the credits code... And if one day Xisto would to turn into free boards like SMF permanently, I maybe will leave this place...Ads here are very important as these ads are the only main source that are supporting our free ads-free hosting... And how does the ads here bug you? If you have time you can click those ads and help out Xisto abit and continuing our hosting here... -
Checking a lots of field, use a lot of the if else method lol... Passing fieldname to an array, hmm... Did you want to use array to help you in your form validation? I'm not too good in arrays and I dont want to give the wrong advice...

This is the transformation pack, you'll still be using Windows XP, it change the way you look at your Windows XP and makes it feel like Vista... It looks pretty cool and you feel just like having Vista... But I doubt I'll go for it since I prefer having a "real" operating system...

Well, if a number is divide by 0, it simply means the answer is infinite! And yes, the formula is true and even a wire connecting those power supply has resistance, so you rarely get yourself into an infinite voltage, which will kill... -
We should be lucky enough that Internet Explorer 7.0 is compatible with Windows XP as Microsoft can just make it compatible with Vista and force you to buy them! IE 7.0 has a really good interface and the best thing is that they give you a larger interface for viewing webpages than other browser, and they minimise the use of the huge toolbar at the top which look very professional.. I'm currently using the RC1 version and it works very well! I simply love it!

I simply hate widescreen computer as it clearly display different dimension as normal computers... If I were to create a website and nicely place the tables and everything with it in a normal size screen, it looks perfect! However, when someone uses a widescreen computer and look at my website, it looks simple awful and could probably fail my website for it... I really wonder why they didnt standardize all the computer sizes and make a widescreen computer out... And sometimes widescreen computer distort videos playing in full screen mode which completely kills my mood for them!

Its a good idea, since ppl may not know that they are having low credits and did not come down to Xisto to make a post... And maybe a pop up warning to the user with low credits and direct them to post at Xisto to keep their host running... Because that some of the ppl do not visit Xisto that often since they know they have more than sufficient credits and do not need to post...

I have this software in my notebook, and my notebook comes with the program preinstalled itself... I'm not sure about where can you get it from but maybe you try google it... And it doesnt load fast, and you dont really need that software anyway as long as you dont open your administration account for others to work in...

Windows Media Player for me too, they are the most trusted Media Player for Windows xp and it can almost play all media files I have, although some has to install codec to work... The current beta version of Windows Media Player works very well for me and I kind of fall in love with it, and the interface is pretty cool! -
Yea, I'm not sure when its out, but I just got them off Microsoft website cause they didnt mention about beta 2 in their homepage until now... And I've found out that if you set Windows Media Player 11 as the default player for your browser, then it'll come out as a totally different interface when viewing videos or listening to music using that WMP!! And the graphics is really great!

Well, Microsoft top programs are focus on the inbuilt programs instead of on the web ones, while google are more towards to the web based stuff... Microsoft Office has a very nice GUI and definitely leads among all other similar programs... Both different companies have their strong point and they'll not be beaten... Same goes for Gmail and hotmail, since I still see lots of ppl using hotmail as hotmail now targets at ppl with little or doesnt really cares about the new technology ppl which a huge percentage of them which are still using hotmail and are contended with it while ppl like us are more into it and prefer google stuff like huge storage space Gmail...

Yea, same as me... I port over all my email stuff and change all my email in all forum to my gmail account, and even my msn email has change over to gmail! I use gmail all the time and even get my live messenger to inform me when i receive an email in my gmail account! I too have change my hotmail account to Windows Live Mail, with a attracting 2000MB of storage space, which i keep that email alive too, to experience and use as a login to all Microsoft products... However, I do not receive much email in my hotmail account cause ppl rarely know that account anymore(its been near 2 years since i change to gmail!)... Gmail is really good, and it beats Live Mail, since Live Mail has been always loading slow for me because of its huge interfaces spaces which lose to Gmail with a better loading speed, and an interactive email account...

Google is rapidly trying to create all popular program and make them the best! I believe that not just google browser and office, I think they soon make a google forum software and take over the forum world control but vBulletin and Invision Power Board!!
