I've upgraded my IE7 to the RC1 version as soon as I receive the newsletter from Microsoft as well as various download sites... I think this version of IE7 really works great and the fixed of some error and the little add of the name of the search provide at the top left hand corner is perfect! This looks more stable than the beta version and definitely a more friendly version...

Windows Media Player 11 Beta 2 is out! I've tried it and it works like wonders! Lots of bug fixed and significant changes in those graphics and now it really looks great! The the same old boring Media Files icon in your folder are no longer the same, and change with a specify nice looking icon! And with the new sharing features which I have not really tried it out yet... Here's the new release log of Microsoft....

I think most of the beta live stuff are out long ago, just that they didnt add it to their live homepage... I like those live programs, they work great, and truly support the much anticipated Web 2.0... I cant wait for more better service that this live beta will provide!

phpbb is definitely the best free forum software today... However, its highly recommended not for use in professional stuff which includes business type or important forums... This is because the security flaw in phpbb is rather dangerous and its very buggy... But the interface and the addons are comparable to other paid boards, which makes them the most popular free boards nowsdays...I kind of hate the layout of proboards, they're hard to comprehen and I find it difficult to find things... Proboards have lesser addons to them and their overall board are messy, which often drive members away which does not like the board...

Its better that you make another test forum then make some post, backup them and do some trial runs before you delete the forum... Else if you make one mistake its going to cost you your entire forum... And what forum software are you using? Different forum software has different ways of transferring of data between forum, and you can check out if any method is provided by the forum support...

Norton is the the most popular and workable anit-virus nowadays... It really does work but its not free as the best thing in the world isnt free... It sometimes would take up quite long to startup since the Norton is checking on loads of things if its configured to do so... But I would say, get yourself a paid anti-virus instead of a free one... Sometimes paid stuff do much of a work, and free ones isnt really reliable...

Those free websites arent that reliable and good as they are sometimes insecure sites that only want you to join... And most offers only last a year and they will terminate after the due date and you've to either pay for the domain or get another free domain and find other free domain site if the current one you are using has closed down...And perhaps you got get yourself an easier subdomain name @ Xisto.com where your members can remember it easier and maybe put your forum in a subfolder name "forum" (without the quotation)...

Not really... html is just the code to provide the interface of website between borwser, where html code only display images, tables, alignment, most of the time something you see... Others like java, php, my sql usually arent seen by the user when it works and process what they're suppose to do... usually, html works with css to produce the layout design, while php, javascript, mysql works like how the website runs, and they power it...

I hate those GUI program for web building... They just generates codes they know, and I couldnt get to the bottom of the problem when it arose, cause I'm not the one typing the code and dreamweaver only helps in designing and aligning of stuff... I prefer to use the most basic way of using notepad to code all the stuff...

Nowadays, server side scripting is more popular and more flexible than client side scripting... Therefore, normal html and javascript wouldnt be much found on webpages anymore(javascript is still use in some part of the website though)... Now usually people build their website using php or .NET platform... php is a more popular ones as they're usually free and together with mysql they works like wonder! So its better to learn php scripting after you have master html, it does really make your website looks nicer!

Well, I got once when I hit 0 credit as I'm screw with my internet connection... I'm not sure exactly what happens when my account got suspended but I do know that my account credit was around -2.1 or something but my credit didnt decrease anymore... I believe it may be the old policy but what I remember from last time was after 20 days of inactiveness your hosting and files will be permanently deleted from the database... And now I've come back after the fix in my connection and I start off from the -2.1 credit and start earning them to my hosting... The best thing is, never try the system out, dont ever get your credits to be lower than 0! I suggest you post more and to secure your hosting and that the best is keep at least 10 credits...

If I didnt interpret wrongly you must be talking about status code of an msn user? If so I believe its only can be done with an msn bot or something like that... There's some solution of those which some host may supply the icons or image for you to use, by adding their bots to it... Some of them like Web 2 Messenger bots etc...

Nah, its far from similar to vBulletin and IPB forums... Paid boards are still paid boards... And if you look through all the new features that those paid boards are offering right now, you'll know the huge differences in them!! System Doctor wouldnt allow remove the spyware for you... It isnt great, it'll only remove it for you if you purchase their product... And Windows Defender Beta isnt as good as well.. It always fails me in removing spyware...There was once when my friend got infected by a spyware name "Spyware Quake"... He didnt know what to do about it, then he consulted me... At that time defender was already a popular anti-spyware used by ppl, but after he tried scanning his computer with it, and tried to remove the "Spyware Quake", the system didnt manage to remove the spyware and instead mess up his pc... and after that my friend decided to give up since the removal tutorial we found on the web is way too troublesome, so he reformated his pc...

Well, in order to understand clearly what are you coding it is to use notepad which consist of plainly the codings... You can basically do anything with codes if you know all the correct codes to put... But for begininer or ppl that is lazy to learn the hard way its better to use GUI program to help you done up your webpages...Personally, I use notepad and photoshop to build my websites... However, I'm still not that good in photoshop yet so I couldnt make any nice layout yet...

I've tried playing a wmv video from the Media Player 11 before, it works fine with me, but it does require a codec which I couldnt remember which is it... Try playing the wmv file, if the Media Player pops up an error, it'll prompt you to search for codec at the Microsoft website... If you couldnt find the codec, google it and I'm sure you'll find it, cause it works for me...

Try runnning some anti-virus program to track any known virus affect your browser... And what do you mean by some of the stuff doesnt seems to download? you mean your firefox are downloading some other stuff which you never download or perhaps its the problem with the server that you're downloading at... Or maybe you can try downloading some files where are guaranteed no problems with the server to test it out, like sites from Microsoft or Google...

erm, I think for theme packs it doesnt make your computer crash... Only when you install the real Vista software then it'll happen... And I believe that only happen when your computer is not Vista Compatible... Make sure that you have enough RAM and your hardware are the minimum requirement of Vista... You can grab the Vista Upgrade Advisor from the Microsoft website where they'll tell you which hardware/software you're lack of...

running the dxdiag code is definitely much easier and faster way of finding out your system information... I doubt there's a need of external tools to help you in this... But nevertheless, a Graphic User Interface is a better solution to ppl with little computer knowledge...

I'm having the same trouble today... Site loads really slow, and that some pages that are initially there has been return with a page not found error... Wonder if there's anything wrong with the server lately... And the cpanel of my too return such error of page not found to me...
