Destroying Variables In Javascript Destroying variables in javascript
hype replied to it01y2's topic in Programming
I dont really understand what are you trying to do but its possible that you give each variable a different name so that they dont clash and product different values for different var.. -
Sometimes when a member gets more active they will gain more reputation.. Thus most probably will fear of others using their username and doing something illegal like spamming and tarnishing their image.. But IP check will most probably proves that it is not the work done but someone who wants to plays a fool... You can simply ignore such persons and I know that Xisto admins does ip checks and use concrete evidence before banning someone from the hosting... And if someone is having a familiar name has been up to some mischief around your site you could probably contact the guy where he's more well known and active in, that could probably resolve things..

I feel that FireFox 2.0 is good but it is still not matchable to Internet Explorer 7... You can say that IE copied Fx's tab features but not only has IE done that, other browsers have it too... And its the matter of who does it better, and IE 7.0 really entice me.. The larger screen view of the website instead of toolbars all over the top really makes my browser looks more neater, and more customable.. I still would stick to IE, but would occasionally use Fx to test out stuff or maybe play with it!

Well, I've said "Official Release". Its the final version, works well and no bugs for me yet! Its way better than the last beta version, where my WMP occasionally crank out and does not response.. This version is very stable, should not be a problem and would not be horrible!

It depends on your model of your mobile.. Most of the phones that supports WAP could open up most of the WAP pages, since WAP pages are design to be light and easily loaded.. I've seen this mobile version introduce in the gmail page the first time its out, but I never tried since I have no use for the mobile stuff as I dont read mail on the go, but I trust google programs and it will surely works great!

I'm using JCreator which my school now recommend me to that... All my school computers are equipe with that and all java programs are taught to us using that... However, I'm told that I'll have to use eclipse next year to make more advance java programs...

I think this has been posted somewhere in this forum before, didnt know where... It occurs because of the 4335 thing, any word format that has the first word to be 4 letters, second and third to be 3 and the last to be 5 would come out as some chinese character... Here's what it comes out in my notepad..

The URGE free trial is only available in US only.. Too bad I dont live in US and so would not get to enjoy the benefits of the free trial... The URGE is quite a nice addon to the WMP and that the interface of the URGE catalog is very attractive too! However it takes long for it to load on low connection and sometimes when I'm using the beta version it gets hang up and the WMP just close with an error... Lets hope this final version would works better than before!

PSP definitely is better than DS, PSP has way more features than DS, better graphics and game play is better... PSP is very flexible and is able to do lots of stuff inculding playing of videos, musics, surf the net etc... The games of PSP produce great graphics and offers great gameplay! The controls are nice which are very similiar to the PS2 and the size of PSP is acceptable due to the large screen size... Overall, PSP is definitely better, while Sony is still improving on it!

Oh you better dont try... Having an unlicense vBulletin board is illegal and Xisto hosting disallowed that... You need to purchase a license at http://www.vbulletin.com/ You can go for others alternatives like phpBB which is a completely free forum which has most of the professional features and its the most widely use free forum today...

I think Windows Media Player 11 would be coming out with Windows Vista but it would be a little different from them.. I have read it somewhere that the Windows Media Player 11 is just a preview for Windows XP that how it would look like in Windows Vista when its out together with it...

You can actually throw away the .java files after you compile it and the .class files is your final work... However, if you ever need to edit your work again its better you keep that .java files so that next time you could work on it from there instead of starting all over... Java is portable so you just have to have the .class file in order to work on almost all operating system or website that have the java virtual machine or something...

Yea quite true! I didnt even bother much about Windows Media Player and I happen to found out about this official release while I was in school going over Microsoft homepage and found it out.. Then I went on a google search and found out it was out just 2 hours ago, and then I waited till I was home and download it and then post this threads! WMP11 works pretty cool, but I cant figure out why my friend says WMP10 is better...

Windows Media Player 11 has been officially release today... http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I have tried it already and it works as well as the beta 2 version... The interface is as nice as ever and its definitely my best media player I've ever used!

Maybe its the color that makes the buttons looks more clearer... I'm trying to open the website now but its doesnt seems to load perfectly for me, I can see the falcon image is up there already but the webiste still is loading, even I refresh it already... Perhaps the server is experiencing a downtime or something?Just as I'm typing this the website gets loaded, but it seems like the css file didnt load for it, and it turns up to be a unstyled basic webpage... Its still didnt load perfectly for me... When it does load again for me I'll post my view again...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! I didnt know you're 53! Never know you have walk so much in life man, I thought you are only around 20-30 years old! Hope you enjoy your day and receive lots of present and may your wish come true!

The main reason why Internet Explorer has only 3 million downloads in 4 days after their release because they did not inform all their user yet... They have to wait till its perfectly alright then make it available on the Windows Update which is expected to be on the 1 November... Until then IE would have gain back their popularity, and that both IE and firefox is have a real fight out there...

Its better to declare the width at the <table> tags as if you declare it at the since if you declare it at the <tr> or <td> tags it will only expand to the table width only... And after you have finish with your html code be sure to validate it at any html validator to ensure that you have gotten them right... One validator is W3Schools...

lol, you're saying this in a firefox thread... I think this version of firefox is definitely worth the try, and now almost all browser have the tabs features, and I just found out the latest version of netscape browser have the tabs features too! And now many famous browser have been releasing their new versions lately with their very own uniqueness and attractions which makes the competition stronger, which benefits us the user as they compete to provide better features and more stable browser to outlast their competitor to win our number 1 browser spots...

Javascript would not help you to make rounded corners, since rounded corners have nothing to do with client side scripting... In order to create rounded corners, you need to use either css or use photoshop image to create those <div> boxes.. Try the link provided by jlhaslip or google it to find more about such ways to make a rounded boxes..

I believe almost everything have bugs, just that whether they're discovered or not... I think the beta testing of Vista has gone well and that many are already using it.. And if there is a problem with the OS then just install the patch, wouldnt hurt installing something to enchance your computer usage...

Myspace.com who has it, likes, dislikes, etc.
hype replied to mzwebfreak's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well, different ppl have different views, and you cannot say others view is spam as it is not the same as yours... I still think that myspace is too messy, and a dangerous place to visit, and chase off visitor with their messy layout and obscene profiles... However, of course there is ppl that love myspace and using them, which those are ppl who do not mind their layout and like their services... -
Did you change the layout already? The layout is much alright now, but still have room for improvement... The animated buttons are more attractive and the site is more organise since I last visit... However, I still think the color cannot make it and throws me off the site... I hope the color would change to a more vibrant color or some color that smooth the eyes for surfing... Just my thought, but perhaps I'm the only one thinking this way...

Yes, its stated that Windows Vista run faster than Windows XP, however that when you start to get more and more programs running, and more ur hard disk gets load up, more problems occurs... I believe that Windows Vista eats up over 1 GB of space in your hard drive, but I guess its worth it since it gives you a better interface...Did you have 512 MB of RAM? Cause 512 is the minimum requirement to run a Windows Vista OS... And although I have not tried Windows Vista, I'll definitely get it when I upgrade my specs... And since that many of the Microsoft products works best and have the best feel with Windows Vista just like Live Messnger, Windows Media Player, IE7.0 etc...
