I just wanted to start a topic about one of the web hosters not mentioned in this website. Po.gs is a website hosting service which offers 500MB hosting with 2GB bandwidth... Here is the complete Po.Gs hosting spec (from their site): Ok... The problems: They do not allow instand account activation (I hate that, but I guess its to reduce spammers from getting in). They ONLY allow 1 mysql database account. They dont have java support like Xisto. My Opinion: Well... I have a website hosted with them and I've been having a hosting this website for 3 years (or more) and nothing wrong yet! Fast servers (very fast), good uptime (very good) and I like the 500MB space! So, give it a try. I will give my view on Xisto a little later (once I actually get hosted here). I tried their hosting a long time before... I liked them. But lots downtime. Their bandwidth and disk space is good. However they are still one of the few web hosts (FREE) which survives! In the free-webhosts site there are lot of messages about how fast they are now... But I think i will go for trap 17...

I dont think there's an issue installing CS3 on a 512MB ram computer... There is something wrong with the serial... The copy of CS3 is corruped (this may be another reason). Well... I agree with the fact that you can do anything is photoshop 7 but, the scratch disk space taken when using photoshop 7 is much greater than of CS2! I couldn't believe that. But the Photoshop 7 is better in using RAM. I still use Photoshop CS2. And I love it! Alen

Well... in my opinion, Toshiba is the best laptop company and you might want to try Dell (XPS). You get both these laptops with the above spec!

Both email providers and free. Gmail has smtp support. Yahoo has unlimited storage (although thats not really nessecary). I think gmail is better(cuz i've been using it for ages!)... it depends on what you think.Thanks

The computer probably shows the free memory left out of the 512MB you've got... Try disabling some of the background services which will eat up the memory. I am sure you will have a lot of programs running in the background in the msconfig. You can solve this problem by typing msconfig in Run and services. Untick some of the services which you dont want... Although still in my opinion 384MB is a good amount of free memory! Thanks Alen

I didn't know they had a paid service. But their free service is BAD! I mean really really BAD! As narutorasengan17 said, there uptime is not constant. When they first came out, the services used to be favourable. But now they but a banner on top of all your pages (in the free version)!

Ye... quite tru. X10hosting is very good but they have some downtime and they aren't reliable YET! You see, there has been many many hosts like x10 before but none of them ran for 1year continous - they either had their serices reduced or broke down and found some really lame excuses like "our server got hacked!" Well... I hope this doesn't happen with x10hosting!

Moreover... You need a good clean design for your website. No hidden pages and try to code the website as good you can... Iff you dont do this then you probably have one page indexed by the search enging and nothing else!

IE7... Microsoft knows millions of people will use IE7 atleast once eveyday. I dont think they need to be in competion with Firefox because everyone knows firefox is the winner. Talk about the technology... isn't IE7 built on the mozilla engine?

Website design businesses are not strangers anymore. Since we are talking about business here; you can start from you local area. Almost every businesses have a website now and I still see a lot of businesses that doesn't have a website in my town. Portfolio is something everyone looks at to judge you. Get a good portfolio and post it online; get some contacts and show them what you can do!

hmmm... There are lots of gaming websites on the net today. And it will be hard to compete with them. But if you are an enthusiast (not just in gaming but also in business), then you can start a free games portal. The word "FREE"; because you dont charge people to play any games but you may want to put ads on the pages... But as I said there are too many websites with the same concept already. But there are other things you could do like put forums on your site and maybe chat as you play system or something. (This again requires that you pay a lot of money for the hosting anyway). Oh my! I cant believe someone already posted about Zymic... I found out about their hosting about 1 month ago. I think i got to say is be careful! Just Dont go and upload your site their YET (if your site is any important)! Zymic have favourable bandwidth and space but i think they are going to change that space very soon because already a lot of people have started hosting there and the server uptime is is slow compared to Xisto. But i would love if they would stay the same and wouldn't have slow load time... Zymic is a great website and i would love to see this website turned into a good hosting providers!Right now, its hard to rate their services as it would be pointless doing so anyway!after 2/3 months, if they are still online (with same specs), i would give them a 9/10

well... Thats what i thought... and i still aprtially think so... But sincei bought my k800i; i changed my mind about nokia. Although i know that N95 is the best in the market and moreover, they have released the new n95 with 8GB! Sony Ericcson K800i is built to last. Great phone but Nokia is the choice if you want to watch videos, use GPRS navigation and other kwl stuff! Thanks Alen
