Would like some advice about my external hard-disk Help! Usb Flash DriveI have a 250GB hard-disk that I was using on my mac (tiger software, don't know if it is important or not) working fine. I brought it over to a friends house he has a old PC (windows 98) same thing the hard-disk working fine, but then when I turned it on my computer didn't even recognize it, like it didn't exist. The strange thing is that the hard-disk works perfectly on any PC but does no longer work on mac (and not just mine, I tried it on my moms who has leopard software and it still didn't recognize it). So now basically my files are safe but I can't use them on my mac and I no longer have any PC's at my house. It's not serious all I will do is just hook the hard-disk up into a friends PC with and just transfer the files from my old hard-disk into a new one, but I just wanted to know if I could give fixing it a shot first. -question by Sean

can you tell me how to get java back into the internet options advanced tabHow To Remove Internet Options Featuresmy os is windows home premium windows vista. the problem started when I updated java to 6u13. It said it downloaded successfully. I use aol as an internet provider. The java worked fine before. I contacted hp because the comp was not quite a year old. It was decided to restore comp to new and start all over. We did that and then updated windows. Then we were told to redownload java. We did that and it still did not work. Then uninstalled the 6u13 and installed 6u12 to see it would work it didn;t. Then went to control panel to internet options advanced tab to check the java and it wasn't there. Went to tools on ie and tried to go to the java console and it wouldn't go to it. Called hp back spent 7 hours with tech support. They told me to go to start and type in java , it came up no items found. went to the control panel and the java icon was there checked it and it said I had 6u13 and it was enabled and 6.1 standard edition also enabled. Went to add and remove programs and they were also there, but I could not find the java in the internet options advanced tab to enable it. Hp took me to the security tab and had me enable some things said to uninstall java and redownload it again. I did that and it said it downloaded successfully. Went back to check and see if it was running correctly and it said it was. When you try to use the java like pogo it will not open. hp helped me this far and then told me if I wanted any more help I would have to purchase another warrenty because it ran out 2 days ago. We had been working on this problem for over 2 weeks. They also stated that the java console did not come with the comp but it did because when we redid the comp it was on there and in the programs. I know this is long but I was trying to give as much info as possable. If I am not at the right place could you please direct me to someone who can help? java.Com will not help because it is a free version. One last thing I know that java was in the internet options and in the java console because java.Com told me to go there to troubleshoot after hp told me to do things it disappeared. Also shouldn't the registry be cleaned out from those times I uninstalled and reinstalled those java's. I would appreciate some help this is so frustrateing. If you can't help me could you please direct me to someone I can explain everything I've done so far and type it in. Thank you for your time. Hope to here from you.

my opinionAge Of Empires 2 : Conquerers ExpansionI also like tetons. I like mixing teutonic knights with scorpions! They're just great. And a few rams are also good for destroying buildings. I also like that their towers can hold a lot more villagers. But I don't know how are they doing against high ranged units.. Because they're slow. Anyway, I really think they're one of the best civilizations I ever played. I also like japaneese ( I use the same strategy, I change the TK with Samurai) and chinese are good too if you're expert in playing with them ( I'm not too experienced in using Cho-ko-nu s but I met people that do). And spanish are good too, with their Conquistadors. About persians, they're not too good because of their elephants - too expensive. I know that they have other good things but other civilizations areare better. They're good only in DMs, where you have high resources and you can buy a lot of them. Elephants + scorpions are just great for that!

Aim and skype both work in pidgin. What you need to do to make skype work in pidgin is to download skype and install it. Then you need to login. Once you do that you need to then install a plugin. my views about drivingChanging Legal Age For DrivingI personally feel that teenagers at the age of 16 should become drivers I am supporting my idea with my daughter nichole I am aware that teenagers can get cort up in an accident but when the parents with their children such as my self have to get to work on time the teenagers can drive themselves to school/college. router dropping computerCable Modem Keeps RebootingOk, here is my problem...I have comcast.Both of my computers upstairs are connected directly to the modem/router.My computer that is downstairs is wireless.None of my computers have XP.I connect to the modem/router using Intel proset - the computers upstairs windows connects them.At least once a day I get a notice that I am not connected to the internet.I was having this problem before and insisted that comcast come out. They did and at first tried to tell me that it was my driver, UNTIL I showed them that the computers upstairs which are directly connected to the router are having the same issue. (ALL THREE have driver issues.??)What I would see in the bottom right of my task bar (on my computer and the others upstairs) is a tiny TV looking icon with a v looking attenea above and a yellow circle over it saying I was not connected.AND After showing them that I could connect to an unsecure network in my neighborhood no problem, they reluctantly decided to change out my router/modem. When they were trying to hook everything up they had problems with the router automatically finding us and had to call in to the office for them to "force connect" it. The customer service tech on the phone kept insisting to these field techs that we were not comcast customers - of which we are and have been for years. They finally connected us. There were no issues and every thing seemed fine BUT... We are having the issue again.I get booted from my router/modem - (ALL computers in the house - the ones that are plugged in to the router/modem too.My computer is able to connect me to another in the neighborhoodI have to go upstairs and unplug the router/modem - wait 5 sec and then plug back in.Wait a few seconds for the modem/router to power up - then I am good.Sometimes I am not good and I have to repeat that step a few more times before we are good again till the next day. I have noticed that it can happen at various times of the day, but mostly happens at about 3:30pm in the afternoon.Any ideas anyone?I know if I call comcast they will blame my drivers again. But if it was my drivers, how then can I connect NO PROBLEM to the unsecure network in the neighborhood?Also able to connect to some sites that comcast does not get when I connect to the unsecure network.Thanx-question by rwdy2

i have a quick question about flash audioHow To: Flash StreamingI have a site up and all my audio clips work fine except for 2. I have 2 clips I edited with camtasia and then transfered the file back to an mp3 file. The file plays fine on my computer but when I put it on the site, the player just sits there and shows it is buffering and never plays?? any suggestions on how I can get this to play? I think for some reason it had to do with editing the file with camtasia but I have no clue. Got two toads too. I Just Got A ToadHi, I ran into your page when researching what to do with my 2 new toads. I am a 2nd grade teacher and love teaching Science through our pets in the classroom. Another teacher was nice enough to bring me two toads from her pond. They were stuck together when she gave them to me and had been all night, They were in about an inch of water in a small container, when they became unstuck I showed them to the students, The kids noticed a million(their words) eggs in the bottom of the water. Is this what happens right after mating? I moved the frogs and eggs to a large aquarium with half gravel and half spring water. I am hoping they are still alive when we return on Monday. I bought crickets for them and plan on getting some earth worms. What will happen to the eggs. Any chance of tadpoles? How many crickets will they require? They are black bumpy skinned with some cream color mixed in. I am in Houston. Do you know the type of toad this is? Thanks for any help you can give me! JL
