3ds max 2009 problem on Save Character after Create Character Under CharacterCharacter Modeling For 3ds MaxDear Sir: My steps: A: 1/ a biped is created using create>system>biped 2/ the com is selected then character>create character - a character01 node is created (3)/ character>save character - pop up of macroscript editor, line 201 is high lighted and error message box Unknown Property: "Parent" in undefined. Or B: 1/ select all bones of the biped and create an assemble with a luminare head object 2/ character>create character and seclect the node then save character then same problem of (3) results. Got the same issue with GeForce 8400. I uninstalled my old video card drivers and installed 8400. The setup program says everything is installed properly and I EVEN restarted my computer and pressed F2 to change my CPU's option from "Integrated card" to "PCI slot". well of the games I have I'd have to say Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is a classic, great strategy game and great plot to boot. Final Fantasy 6 is probably tied for first just becuase it has an awesome plot, and its FF! I have compared AMD's and INTEL's since I was a child...And I always saw the best performance in gaming on Athlon... intel could be faster than AMD( more MHZ)..But the AMD's structure is more adapted for gaming and aplications with high demanding memory and graphics speed. if you want to play hard, buy AMD Athlon dual-core, or Phenom,, but try to avoid intel processors. Well, firstly, I do not believe that Arya will be a rider, I have read all three books so far and I agree with one review in here that if Arya were to be a dragon rider, one would already have hatched for her. Thorn and Saphira were two of the eggs, there is likely still a chance that the other dragon rider of the last known egg will be one of the elves. Honestly, it is the only way Eragon will become a strong enough force to face Galbatorix AND Murtaugh. I do not recall if she came in contact with them BEFORE Galbatorix stole them, I can only assume she did, being the Queen's daughter and all, I am sure she was one of the first to touch each. But even if she did not, if she were meant to be a rider, I am certain Saphira would have hatched for her. I think her destiny is different than that, though I am positive it lies with Eragon, but as his mate rather than a fellow rider.I do not think that Roran or Katrina will be Riders either. What WOULD be interesting is if the little abomination girl Eragon "created" with magic out of ignorance became a rider ^_~ (I forget her name... )I do also agree that Orik cannot be a rider, the dwarves were not included in the ancient pact made between the dragons, elves and humans.To those who suggest that Brisngr was not a good book... They must have been hit in the head or something, hehe, the first two books were good and was all about build up and more build up, and small victories and defeats, but Brisngr was awesome, brought everything together and accomplished so much... Then left us in a cliffhanger =D but that is what all good books do is it not? I mean, for anyone who ever read the Wheel of Time series for instance... Great series for a while then the books just stopped... With nothing completed. A lot of people wouldn't even know he died. Just that he stopped writing. JRR Tolkien also died, leaving much only half written ^_~ Christopher is certain in the same league as these great writers and to try to say that one of his books is less than magnificent is insulting in my humble opinion. Good Game I Am Looking For A Free Mmorpg I'm new to this and Hopefully I do this correctly Pls correct if I'm wrong Robits World Beta Is the official link to the game. It was recently released for people to test it out and we may all fall upon some bugs. Type of Game: This game is straight off the browser for now. In the past they have done stand alone applications but I believe they did this one browser based to eliminate cheats and 3rd party programs. Basic Overlook: Since it is new there isnt much to offer right now other than a few basic weapons upgrades; repair kits for when your in battle; better armor etc. Next week (Tuesday the 21st) they are going to be adding in their next installment of new gear and game additions. The basic genre of the game would be a battle game. You control your robot, and customize him with better parts and weapons and take him into battle against other people. The aiming system is controlled by your mouse and keyboard and for the most part is simple. There is A LOT of strategy involved once you are facing better people in matches. You have your house in the game, and they have real-estate so you can move your 'pad' to a bigger and better area. Also you can purchase real-estate and signify it as your Team Headquarters and invite people to join a team with you (this is the way to go.) There are directory buttons to look at other peoples houses and headquarters (yes they have goofy furniture to decorate with). One of the simple newer features they just added was a goto feature (they have an in-game instant messaging and email system called the Egg). When you are viewing another players profile you can see where they are and click goto to travel to the same room/map area as them. The game is based off xp (and actually the xP system seems pretty accurate). You have achievements to do most of them simple you get them just by playing normally; 50buddies, 100buddies etc. It is based off a ranking system I don't know exactly what they are. Basically the more battles you get in and do well in you'll move up from infantry to chief commander I believe is the top level. The downfalls of this game right now are the fact that it is so new not many people are playing. That and the fact that most people don't like to give betas a shot for fear they really won't satisfy the gaming needs (I guess thats what we'd call it lol). It's one of the toughest, if not the toughest sport you will ever play. You have to have endurance and speed, and you have to be able to run your way up the field past center, and lower and upper defenses all the way to the goalie, then kick it in past him at an angle he can't get to in time, or play with his mind and make a start for the right side and swirve towards the left to make it in. Soccer is the most intense running sport out there (including track and cross country) becasue you are always moving, and you have to pace yourself. It's not a race, but you still have to keep up or else the other team will get the ball past or your ball will get stolen. My favorite position is right or left lower defense because whenever the other team can get the ball close to our net, I can steal the ball from them and take it all the way back up to their goal. Has been done...Future Os ConceptThe future OS outlined here has actually been done - it is (was) called Plan9. The whole point of this OS is shared resources and does so very efficiently - It has for example been used in HPC on the IBM BlueGene. The hardware support and the user interface are quite modest (to say the least!) but it IS working in exactly the way you outlined it (and perhaps Glendix will fix the hardware compatibility stuff and if it attracts more users, perhaps even a more pleasing interface ) And if you only were talking about sharing files and not resources as such, one could ofcourse also mention the Google vaporware... -reply by jens
