noob modeler/programmerBest 3d Modeling And Rendering SoftwareHello m8. First off a lil background of myself, I took a class learning the basics of Maya, and just recently started using 3ds max. In my oppinion, Maya is a bunch of headaches you don't need untill you are very familiar with a less intense program. When I started using 3ds Max it was soooo simple, theres a few things that need a little learning but once you figure it out, its freakin cake man. Also I don't know if you are into World of warcraft, but if you are then I have a great way for you to get into 3ds max. If WoW interests you, then I think you would very well enjoy loading World of warcraft characters into 3ds max, rigging them, and making animations with them haha its quite funny to see the hardcore bosses doing ballet or the chicken dance hahah. But anyways Theres a guy on youtube that is awesome, and has a bunch of bad *bottom* tutorials. Here is the link to his youtube channel "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/;. But basically all you have to do to load the World of warcraft characters into 3ds max is: 1.)Have WoW installed 2.) download WoW_Model_Viewer(Free) 3.) Export the model from Wow_model_viewer to a Milkshape 3d file(The only option) 4.) Load into Milkshape 3d and Export as Autodesk 3ds 4.) import into 3ds max 5.) The textures are given to you when you save from WoW_model_viewer Quick tip about the textures: If when you render and the textures come out with a light color to them than the original, then go into the materials editor (M) and look for 3 options under the section Alpha source: click None(opaque). This will get rid of the light color and make the textures come back to life. You can follow that guys tutorials on youtube for more detailed info, and info on how to Rig the characters, apply the textures, and start making animations. Ohh and also, I really do now think that 3ds max is really really easy to learn, even making a Rigged character do a Ragdoll is freakin easy, if you just pay attention and follow that guys tutorials I guarantee that you will learn the essentials of the program really fast. Also Using WoW character models also makes it a ton more exciting and interesting, at least for me it does, and I don't even play the game anymore. BTW, Blizzard does support Machinima, and in fact they encourage it, But only under these terms: "http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/; As for obtaining the programs: I don't know if this site is anti - Warez or watever, and I really don't care either but seriously if you just use the programs for educational purposes and don't sell any of your works I really do not see any harm, and once you do finally have a job because of your excellent modelling skills, then you can finally afford to buy the program, in that essence Torrents are really just really freakin good advertizements, if you truley do enjoy the programs then go buy them. -reply by 3d_Modeler

Maybe your signal is not as strong. I have Comcast too and I get a lot of dropouts during the rainy season. I use two splitters and I'm finding out I may be degrading the signal to the point where it's unusable. I also have to keep rebooting my modem and router. Sometimes it will only work if I disconnect the actual source from the modem, then re-connect. If you're using a splitter (even one), make sure it's a high quality splitter (high bandwidth, low loss). You might also consider using a signal booster.I'm considering the following:Motorola Signal Booster 4-Port BDA-S4For a couple of years, I've been blaming it on Comcast, but my TV signal never suffers during these droupouts, only my internet. sweetheart I'm going through the same exact situation right now. Well sort of. Me and my ex broke up a week ago and this isn't the first time. We broke up at the beginning of the year because of constant extreme arguing, not getting along, and not being able to agree to disagree. we stayed broken up for about 3 months and it hurt me so much when he completely cut me off, or at least tried to. He didn't txt or call until like a month later and then when I would call back, he would say he was going to call back or something like that and then act as if he didn't have time. So at this point I tried shutting him out. Erasing the number from the phone, deleting him from fb and myspace all the dumb stuff. And it didn't really work on my end. I was still checking what he had to say and who he was talking to and he was doing the same on his end. But one thing that really had me confused was the fact that he kept making attempts to talk to other females that had nothing to offer him like I did. It was obvious that they were messed up in the mind and pathetic but he still came onto them for whatever reason. And that bothered me. But anyhow...So after 3 months, he comes back. Texting me out of the blue, wanting to spend time and wanting to talk. So then after us 'supposedly' realizing that the breakup wasn't that bad and we just had things to work out, and after me telling him I don't want to deal with the same bull I had to deal with before and him just leaving and RUNNING away like before, we give it another go. And this time I made sure to state my biggest issue/worry was him leaving again when times got hard. And what has happened, we ended up going through the same thing again. Now I cant FULLY blame him for being the only runner because there came times when I was the same way, but at the end of the day, I felt that I knew that being together was more important, but I wasnt seeing that on his end. The enthusiasm from when he came knocking on my door trying to be with me and claiming he needed me SO MUCH was starting to fade and it hurt me because that's what I was afraid of most. I was afraid that he wouldn't see the bigger picture when it came down to the small issues that we needed to work on. I always felt that we damaged but not irreparable as did you. But I just don't think he felt that way. So I'm at a loss. What do I do know? do I wait? do I disregard his msgs? do I try to even remain friends? he still hasn't even wanted to talk about the situation and I have because I need some type of closure so I can progress for MYSELF even if he doesn't want to. But I feel like he doesn't want to go there with me mainly because he may feel he doesn't have anything he wants to say or he just wants to move on with all these things on his heart. And I cant live that way, but I may just have to. He's too prideful and that's always going to get in the way of his happiness IMO. I can only pray for him and strength in myself to get through this and so can u. And I know its going to take time to seriously get over this and over him, I just pray to God that I can do it without losing myself in the process. And as much as I know you want to move on and say I deserve better, U felt he was better, and just needs guidance. It certainly can't guarantee anything, but it is free and does not require installing software. My simple tool records your IP address every time your home page in your browser, which you convienently set to a URL provided by the tool. No personally identifiable information is collected other than what you freely provide as the make, model, serial, and your email address so you may later visit the site and track the laptop if it is turned on and connected to the Internet. There is also no check to make sure the information you enter is correct. Lastly, the home page is set to our favorite, google. This way, if a thief starts up your browser, he hits our system, reporting your serial, make and model as well as his IP address. The IP can be reverse-looked up and the culprit identified by his ISP. Feel free to try it and let me know any ideas for improvement or usefullness of this system. Although personally I think 3 is the best one. Create a folder on the Desktop "CS3 install"2 Insert disc 13 Open from Start >> Computer >> right click on the CS3 DVD4 Click explore5 Copy Adobe CS3 folder to the "CS3 Install" folder on the desktop6 Do this for all 4 discs7 If your asked to replaces files with same names say yes to all8 Open "CS3 Install"9 Find Setup.Exe10 right click setup.Exe11 click on properties12 Heres the ***** that fixes the damn problem. I was a bit disappointed with this latest HP as it started out good...Deatheaters attacking London, then it just seemed to take off in a completely different direction..The Weasly home being attacked..Not in the book, characters being left out..Doby, etc. They didn't include a scene with Harry telling Ginny that they couldn't be together any more while Voldimort was still alive, how are they going to figure that into the next installment, when Ron bursts in on them when Ginny is giving Harry a little something to remember her by. I realize the couldn't put the whole book into the movie...But they could have (in my opinion) have stuck closer to the book than go way off course the way they did. I'm confused with the last part. The transparent border thing. I press CTRL + A, then go to Edit-Stroke, 1px black, center. Then I do CTRL + A, again, go to Edit-Stroke, 3px black, center.
