short cut keys onMicrosoft media keyboard -- F keys on by default?Hi I am facing the same prob which Puzzled Granny is facing keyboard. Whenever I open a web browser, I cannot type in the address bar. I believe it the short-cut keys are in stuck in "on" mode. If I go to press letter "o" then things open. If I press "p" then printer menu appears, etc. I also opened Note Pad just to see if I could type any letters or numbers and I could not. How do I fix this? How do I disable this so key board is back to normal. I am using a Dell inspiron with Windows Vista premium

Yes we can all get other jobs and we all do, BUT know this. I keep a nice little black book in my car with all the addresses of ****/******* people in it. ALL OF THEM. Don't respect the service you will get ****ted on. WHY is that you are willing to TIP servers 20+% of a tab when a driver is lucky to get 10%. Drivers do the exact same **** as a server except BE UP YOUR *bottom* the whole time. We take orders, we bring you the food and drinks, everything a server does but the server didnt have to go anywhere in there own personal vehicle to make that money. SO what they checked on you while you ate and maybe refilled your drinks a couple of times, for that they deserve 20+%. Don't bring hourly wage into the equation, servers do get paid 3 plus an hour, a driver will get 5+ an hour and I live in a city with many many people. Don't tell me its my area. Sometimes a driver has to drive 7 miles ONE WAY just to get a dollar tossed at them, and all the stores say the same thing, we don't want to give our area to other stores so tuff drive it or quit.It just a matter of time before we get a serial killer delivery driver. When I paste I just get a little icon. I sent it to myself but even when I click on the icon it won't show a picture. I am having a problem with google in reagards to this situation. When I receive emails that have pictures or headings, most of the time they won't open when I open to read it. If I click on the icon sometimes ( rarely) it will open. The majority of the time it opens another window/tab to do it or takes me to the site of the sender to see what they sent me. It just started doing this lately. Have I made a setting somewhere? I'm using a VB6 adodc wizard. what I'm doing is I right click the adodc then at the datalink properties - MS oledb provider for sql server then on the connection tab, ive choose the server name and when I click #3.- select the database on the server. It always says dbnetlib connection open sqlserver does not exist or access denied, I already created the tables on the other computer. And what I'm trying to do is to network the program and should link and read the datas on another computer. EDGE 2 is close to release, but for data services 3G has take this to a new level. Basic 3G service is 384kb dowmload. This increases with HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) this can puch the Download speeds to 14.4 Mb/s. There is also HSUPA (you can guess that one) that pushed Upload speeds to 5 Mb/s. Then coming in the nest 6 - 8 months is HSPA+ (they have dropped the Upload and Download as this includes both) this will finally pust 3G data to 46 Mb/s DL and 18 ish for the Upload.
