    Md5 Decryption

MD5 guessing algorithms can guess your password depending on how large it is and whether CASE is significant. If it is only 4 characters long and CASE sensitive (26 lowercase + 26 uppercase + 10 digits = 62 possible characters) then it will take: (62)^4 =14.8 million iterations. On a fast machine that should take at most 10 seconds (depending on your programming language). If it's 8 characters long it will be 14.8 million times longer than that. Assuming the 4 character password took at most 10 seconds, an 8 character password would take ((62)^8)/3600/24/360 = 7 million years. Of course, if you had 1000 machines that were each a 1000X faster than that, all working in parallel, then it would take Deep Thought about 7 years. 7 years to guess an 8 character password from an MD5 hash. Good luck with that.
  5. I'm so surprised that every time I see the debate of what software is the "easiest" to use/learn I rarely see the program Lightwave! I've tried 3D Max, Maya, Blender...Lightwave is the only one that makes sense! Its liek comparing a PC to a MAC these days..I can easily say that 3D Max, Maya, Blender represent the PC and Lightwave is a MAC in the 3d world. A lot of people are jumping on the MAC side simply because it makes sense..And operates with your thaughts for the most part. Try Lightwave. -reply by AllLeafs
  6. Put it on a leashRemote Control FinderOut of frustration looking for the remote control constantly, I had a pet leash and some duct tape. I duct taped the leash to the back of the remote and tied it to underside of the couch. Fed the leash through the couch and I never have to look for the remote again. It can move all over the couch. I just have to go where it is tied and reel it in. The remote is presently off of her leash, because I had to change the batteries and lost the roll of duct tape...Lol. Now I need to put the duct tape on a leash...Lol. Everyone who sees this, loves the idea and has done it in their own home. The remote can move around, just keep her tied to her leash.-reply by ambord

  8. Some Muslims h ave wrong notion that Christians worship Mary or idols of Jesus and Mary. They never asked the Christians who are "practicing such" but presumed what they saw. IF I see Muslims faithful going to Mecca and circle the black rock, I can presume that they are worshiping that black stone of Ka'aba! That is a grave error of Muslims ! Does this make any sense?? Similarly, thinking that Mary is worshipped or is part of the Trinity (as mentioned in Quran) is ignorance at best! Christianity as its past but Christians learned and understood freedom of speech and making choice ! Most if not all Christians majority nations are democratic (UK has not Muslims majority and it will be under shariat in near future. It will change its name, too!). They allow people of all faiths to practice their religion. Compare this with Saudi Arabia or other muslims nation which bar people of other faith to practice their religion freely. The Islam carefully "protect" Muslims while taking away their freedom to independently test the truth of Islam. If Islamic nations are really proud of their truth of Islam then what are they afraid of??? Why not they allow freedom to Christian to give good news of Jesus Christ in their countries? Christian truth is not guarded by some political leaders but it is fruit of relationship with true God. Unfortunately, Islam (even Judaism to some degree) thinks of a God who is far far in heaven. No wonder they have not experienced love of God flowing as Jesus Christ. Unless you have Jesus in your heart, you have no life... Here or in hereafter ! PEACE... -reply by Sandip

  11. hiring a felonHiring Felonssee ive committed a burgulary back in 2002 the only crime ive commited. I was 18, I went to prison done my time. **** I can own guns and vote again after 7 years of jumping thru hoops. So who is to say someone else is going to be a better worker than I am, becouse of my felony. still cant find a job, felony... what a red flag! the people that allow this are messed in the head. Wait I mean the american government. F them. Just about every american has commited a crime or 2 now only 15% of those people get caughtand only a fraction of them learn from it. so now I ask you employers out there. would you rather have hire a felon who has learned from the mistakes he or she has made, or hire someone who commits serious crimes and has not been in trouble for the crime and has not learned a thing?? a child rapist has a better chance of getting a job than me. that is sad . also sad a child molester convicted of rape in the state of minnesota for there first offense get probation and a slap on the wrist. mind you that is for full out rape on a child less than 12 years old. I went to prison for 48 months for stealing guns. My first and only crime. I just turned 18. I admited to the crime and got the guns back for them. I felt bad enough. For doing what I did so I snitched on myself. now you tell me america the best place in the world . free world my *bottom*.. F the american government! -reply by joshkrech

  17. Me and my boyfriend are 2 1/2 years apart. I'm 15, about to turn 16, and he's 18. We have been dating on and off for almost a year and a half. Our problems have mostly been because of the age difference. He wants to join the military and start a family in the next 5 years, while I'm still a sophmore in high school. We love each other a lot, but I'm not quite ready to sign my life away. When we did break up I tried dating other guys closer to my age, but no one ever compared. I found myself compatable with a few but as young teen boys are, they aren't looking for a relationship, unless it is a sexual one. So, while I believe age does matter, I'm very happy with my older boyfriend.

  19. Batch File / GuiPerforming Dos Operations From Visual BasicHi, I have a fairly simple batch file (it allows someone to make a numbered choice, and depending on the choice selected it will copy contents of a folder into another folder). I am looking to put this into the form of a gui, so that someone can select a radio button for the choice (as opposed to typing in a number), and also so I can give it a nice background. This also have to be easily edited (just in case). I am looking for guidance on how to make this happen, as I am not a programmer, and do not have the cash flow to contract this out. Any advice would be appreciated. Mike -question by Mike

  22. It is RIDICULOUS that many wide screen flat-panel monitors when in resolutions lower than the native resolution stretch the image to fill the entire screen regardless of aspect ratio and do NOT allow you to change that. Although there may be some idiots who like it that way, I think that anyone who cares a lot about visual quality would tell you that it looks horrible that way. One of the really bad things about that is, it PREVENTS you from seeing the content in the way that it was meant to be seen. Personally, I wonder why having it that way is even an option to begin with, let alone the default option, let alone the ONLY option. The "black bars" are NOT ugly and aren't even really bars -- the screen image is centered and the unused parts of the screen are blank. It's the OTHER way -- when the screen image is stretched to fill the entire screen even when the aspect ratio is not the same -- DISTORTED -- that it's ugly. Recently, I bought a 22" Zalman Trimon monitor (the largest available). That is a special LCD monitor -- the only monitor of it's type that is commercially available -- that is capable of stereoscopic 3D viewing with circular polarization, but is particularly good even as a non-stereoscopic monitor. With that monitor, at resolutions lower than it's native resolution (1680x1050), it stretches the screen image to fill either 16:10 or 4:3, depending on which you select, and does NOT allow you to change that -- only if it's 16:10 or 4:3 -- which means that if you're using the monitor's built-in scaling, for the image to be non-distorted, EVERY SINGLE TIME you change to a resolution that's lower than the monitor's native resolution, if the aspect ratio is different, you have to take the trouble to go into the monitor's settings and change it. That's RIDICULOUS. Why doesn't the monitor set the aspect ratio automatically to be the same, whatever it is, and make it non-distorted? Doing so would only require simple arithmetic. And, of course, that monitor does NOT allow you to turn off it's built in scaling completely with resolutions lower than it's native resolution -- even though it's stereoscopic 3D feature -- which uses scan line interleaving -- requires the screen image to be completely non-scaled. Please note that although this is idiotic, because most flat-panel monitors are designed this way, it is NOT a reason not to get a Zalman Trimon monitor. In fact, you SHOULD get the Zalman Trimon monitor -- it is very good, costs only around $300, and, unlike any other commercially available LCD monitor, is fantastic for stereoscopic 3D viewing. It is available from several major websites including Dell. Although most video cards have the option of doing their own, completely configurable, scaling instead and outputing in the monitor's native resolution, that uses extra resources of the video card and requires extra video bandwidth. It's ridiculous that it is made necessary to do that -- if monitors include built-in scaling, they should at least allow you to turn it off. It astonishes me that major designers are smart enough to design such otherwise great monitors -- and yet stupid enough to make them this way. -reply by Matthew Barich
