I just thought I would add my 3c worth in as a 3G engineer. As someone who has worked on both technologies for many years, CDMA is probably the better engineered network - I think this was due to Qualcomm owning most of the patents on the technology - you can fine tune the whole system a little better than what you can with UMTS. Plus, the range at any given power is slightly greater for CDMA. It was a very cleverly designed system that was unfortunate in that Qualcomm doomed it. Where CDMA was let down was Qualcomm overcharging for it, litigating against Nokia who was keen to develop handsets for it over patents. So these days UMTS is the system that everyone is using, the upgrade from GSM is pretty clearly defined - many operators have a core network that is designed operate with both GSM and UMTS access networks.

SWAT5 WILL NOT COME (YET)Will There Be A SWAT 5 For PC ?hey guys I think there will not be a swat5 as we all know and love swat3-4. I think there may be another swat game but it will never be the same swat we all know. The game will be more graphically enhanced and will be a COD4 type game I think some tactics will be lost due to so many Pro FPS fans wanting next generation games that are more shooter than tactical. Games these days are only getting more and more bloody and the thought of fanship does not make a diffrence to the game developers head they want to make as much money as possible so they will always give the crowd what they want at the time and this year 2009/2010, all fps gamers want is a game with big guns and nice graphics so thats what they will get. So guys I think we will never see a new swat game as we all know it that type of game is now gone (for now). Pentium or AMD?Pentium Vs AmdHi to everyone. Soon I am gonna buy a new pc, but I am so much in trouble whether to buy a Intel Pentium or AMD. I am not a master or that good in pc-s, but think Intel Pentium must be better, since it has been made before AMD, hence, more experienced. However, that doesn't mean that AMD is worse. I just wonder how can AMD be both better and cheaper in price than a Pentium! I have the same problem too!Bad_pool_headerThis is the second time I've had to experience this. I thought I solved the problem when my dad's company's technician said that we needed to change our hd. So we did, but the problem popped up again and its sooo annoying already. I really need to fix this before 2010 starts. Anyways, I've tried disabling the Indexing service, I've reinstalled my HD and I've cleaned my registry and the problem is still there. I don't know what caused this because it was my brother who first saw the error message. Right now, I'm experiencing software crashes, some from one of the most stable softwares (in my experience and opinion), like Opera. Dell Memory SticksDell Computer Problems Need Help.A little over two years ago, I purchased a Dell Dimension Desktop with 2GB of memory and running Vista. Last year, I installed additional memory (per the recommendation of Dell) since my computer was running very slowly and Dell explained that Vista needs additional memory to function at full capacity. Now, my computer won't boot up and the error light on the computer tells me that the memory modules are not detected. After removing the memory sticks putting back in and removing them again, switching them around (being careful to keep the pairs matched) the computer still won't boot up. After calling Dell (reluctantly, I might add) and $49 later, Dell recommended purchasing all new memory sticks. Since I don't use my computer for anything other than personal use (I don't download games and regularly defragment and run full scans) I don't understand why my memory sticks would have "gone bad" or, as Dell put it "worked too hard and are now worn out". The clergymen leave, however, and the bottom fridge drawer opens to the stash of beer, the cigarettes and ashtray come out, the cocaine, maybe some of his painkillers, oh, and then maybe he'd go molest his step daughter just to top off the evening. As soon as that door closed, he was truly Mormon. Truly as sadistic as the bands of Mormons that traipsed through the rural south after the Civil War kidnapping, murdering, pillaging, and raping anything that wouldn't convert willingly. It's sad. They blamed it on Native Americans, and still deny it to this day. Is it any wonder my uncle denies molesting his step daughter? His religion taught him to. Hell, the Mormons didn't accept African descendants to be PART of their church in whole until the 1970's! They think Native Americans are descendants of Israelites. Just like other Christians, Mormons don't believe in DNA. So, I can't say enough about how I hate Mormons, but really I'm an equal opportunity hater. Yes, M$ took the global server down a few months ago, but you can still see most of the servers with the Global Server Workaround. I myself play on the Tekagi's Treasure mod/server, and I haven't had any less fun playing it since I went and destroyed all of the Nomads in the storyline. Gran Turismo is still the bestGame Like Gran Turismo For PcI definitely agree Gran Turismo is still the best racing game by far,It might not have the greatest physics but the overall package,Gameplay, number of cars + tuning customization + tracks + events haven'tBeen matched imo.I've never owned a Playstation (1-2-3) and never will, but I've borrowed a PS2 + gran turismo from a friend and I did have a real blast with GT during that time, unfortunately there's no way I'm buying a console just to play 1 game, I'd rather spend $ on my PC to play Flight Simulator, Freelancer, RTS Games, Music Sequencers + business software. Limit kids to 2 or lessOverpopulationMore and more people are realising that only by limiting our global birth rates to 2 or less can we reduce our population to sustainable levels. So we can each do our part by spreading the word to every country ... 2 or less kids ... This along with providing free birth control, more education(especially for women) and assisting with the economic development of poorer countries is the only way to go! There will be the usual claims of racism ,eugenics etc but these reactionary attacks will fade if more and more people agree and start having less kids for our common good.
