Airfare.com, Novatravel.com, Orbitz.com are they trustworthy?
iGuest replied to seanooi's topic in General Discussion
Since 1979, Airfare.com parent company has been dedicated to accommodating travelers with top value airfare made possible by discounted airline consolidation. In 1995, we became the first airline discounter to go online. Over this period of time, airfare.com has continually strived to provide world-class customer service and affordable airfare prices. We handle hundreds of thousands reservations a year and have dealt with millions of different transactions since our company has been in business. We are a fully bonded travel company, a verified merchant of authorize.net, an ARC appointed member of ASTA, a member of IATAN, Visa Verified, a member of Master Card Secure Code, Diners Club International, Discover Card Financial Services, American Express, and all bookings are Secured by GeoTrust Secure Socket Layer. Airfare.com does not change reservations without the written consent of the traveler. Airlines are constantly updating their systems with new flight times and routing. There are times where notifications are not sent to us. As a result, we cannot notify the passenger of an airline schedule change. When we do receive notification, we make every attempt to advise the passenger about the schedule change by phone and email. Airfare.com will do everything possible to help the traveler find acceptable arrangements, with the ultimate responsibility placed on the airline to give the approval on accommodating the passengers schedule change. Airfare.com strongly recommends travelers to constantly check their reservation with us and the airline. Airfare.com understands that unexpected situations may come up to where your travel plans must be changed; however, we remind all travelers that fees and the difference in airfare are due upon changing your reservation. Airfare.com has no control over the airline ticketing prices. Prior to booking a reservation, the rules and regulations are presented twice for review while entering information and again before proceeding. By booking a reservation our customers have agreed to the rules and regulations of this ticket which again state: Once purchased, these tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE / NON-RE-ROUTABLE. Under absolutely no circumstances will the airline refund these highly discounted airline tickets. Changes are permitted for a change fee, but only if they are made prior to the date of the originally scheduled flight. The tickets you are purchasing are completely NON-CHANGEABLE after the first travel date has passed. You must pay a change fee of $200 per ticket for domestic flights and $350 per ticket for international flights. If the new tickets cost more than the original tickets you must pay the difference. If the new tickets are less than the original, the airline will not credit the difference. Therefore, the total cost will be (The Change Fee) + (The Difference in the Cost of the Tickets). You must travel on the same airline in the same class. Rerouting is not permitted. These are the change rules and regulations that all travelers agree to before booking a reservation. Airfare.com will do our best to accommodate travelers needs , but we will follow the rules and regulations that were presented prior to booking. Airfare.com is a fully bonded travel company that follows all rules/restrictions placed upon us. Our company culture also insists upon exceeding customer expectations by looking for every avenue to assist our customers. If you have any comments, questions and/or concerns please feel free to contact our Special Operations team at feedback@airfare.com. This team is specially dedicated to working diligently to resolve every customer concern. -

I have a simple Java applet called ImgLoaderApplet that calls ImgLoaderPanel (a JPanel object). This applet(including the ImgLoaderPanel class) compiles and works well in both Eclipse and command line. However, when I try to call it from html within an browser, it always give me a blank panel at where the applet panel should show up. The Java Control Panel returns some message saying that the exception is thrown when try the createGUI() method of the ImgLoaderApplet. My browser is IE8. VGA Pins and FnVGA Monitor Cable ProblemsSorry if I missed this in a reply, but I wanted to touch on it. VGA consists of really 5 pins: Red, Green, Blue, Horizontal Sync, and Vertical Sync. There are also 5 connections that must be made in addition to these, which are the 5 ground wires for each of these 5 main pins (RGBHV). The rest of the pins do not matter at all, but may be handy when hooking up to a sophisticated system. One thing to note here is that in any VGA head, all the grounds are touching, and that is fine. These 5 connections are made in pins 1, 2, 3, 13, and 14, so as long as your VGA has those pins and their connections (RGBHV respectively) made, and the ground soldered across the middle pins, it should transmit a VGA signal. The heads are finicky however, and go bad frequently, so check the above connections and make sure they are solid. Strain relief on your VGA is very important. Lastly, there should be no problem carrying the signal though a long cable, I have sent unamplified VGA up to 200 feet before any problems occurred. -reply by Brad

What Is The Best Free Mmorpg That Includes Player Vs Player?
iGuest replied to Takumi-san's topic in Computer Gaming
Sadly the best game on the market has a messed up ingame ecconomy but has to be perfectworld by far. The fact that they are really good at marketing makes you chase that "dragon" even more the higher lvl you get. At the end of the game you will have to choose to be fail or spend some money. It is FTP but that will only get you so far. Goodluck. I have a faction named heartless on the Harshlands server. Feel free to message me if you need some advise. Don't message me 20 lvls in and expect me to explain how many different ways you have already messed up. -
Cabal ???Anyone Know Any Good Mmorpg Games?Replying to iGuest I played cabal for a long time and to every one ... This game sucks so hard ... I played this game whit 12 friends and we got all over lv.140+ whit best skills and I spend so much real money in to this game (pets)(dungeon cards)(upgrader)(armor) and its no fun ... Your quests will end whit lv.99 or 100 (main quests) then you have to do dumb quests like (kill 100 mobs) ... (Farm 100 items) really ^^ play bether DECARON or 2MOONS or NOSTALE or RF-Online or mmorpg top 100 -reply by HolyBeast

As the mother of an ex convict...I can pretty much agree with this....also as an ex law enforcement significant other for the sum of 10 yrs....I can easily say....what's the difference in the two? My son got involved with gangs....my ex was a member of a gang Los Angeles Sheriffs Department/LASD.....my son got caught did his time...now 21, my ex has been in LASD for the past 27 yrs and will get a good retirement....while my son has a hard time even finding a job....my ex cheated on his ex wife and me...and Drinks and drives...and I've gotten pulled over with him and when they seen who he was...he gets the high five....in his history of being a deputy I've heard accounts when he's hit women...and doesn't even get questioned, maybe it's that where he learned to be such a good liar, and through my 10 years with this man I've heard of so many other deputies that have done unspeakable but they just chalk it up for another notch on their gun belt vs an ex con that has to show their background and get scrutinized for it....I've read some of these posts about ex felons that want to be in a profession that helps society but they won't let them....because of his past...the training he got in prison in fire fighting has given him the desire to fight fires for our country, state, or county...but they won't allow him because of his past....where is the integrity of this so called great place we are supposed to be at.....not to expect any sympathy for my son's situation....he has already paid his debt...now can he be productive and live a normal life? I've never shown my children to give up...but if my son keeps hitting with these set backs...who really is to blame for repeat offenders?

I admit that I am not that knowlegdgeable in this area, but you made it very clear to understand by showing and explaing every thing with the results that I should get made it even more easier. Now, I am going to ask one more question about this. Do I need to do it for every letter, just the word or how. Thanks and Hopefully More Thanks! -reply by Lonnie -
I on one hand do believe dragons existed at one point in time. There are too many consultancies in every culture to believe otherwise. Every Recorded Culture has their version of a Dragon, though not all breath fireYou Have Myths recorded in:GreekEuropeanChineseJapaneseVedicIndianPersionand Jewish Countries/Cultures.(http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/) That is a wide spread if they didn't exists or their stories were just spread around and changed. A lot of the mythology behind these species are the same if you look t them closely. As from a more religious stand point, Dragons are noted in the Bible multiple times in the old testament, and in revelations(http://www.clarifyingchristianity.com/dinos.shtml) Now lets step back and look at the fire breathing. This is the main crutch of every Dragon impossibility. How can something Breath Fire? Its Impossible Right?Actually there is something that can prove this theory, in what in large quantities could be seen as breathing fire. It was found in a little central American beetle. This Beetle is called the bombardier beetle. For those who like to read you can find out more about this Beetle @ http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/bombardier.html Or Watch two videos on youtube about them :- youtube.com/watch?v=tpJ3asv3XMY youtube.com/watch?v=nFUIEuNeWw4&feature=related In short this beetle uses two highly powerful chemicals, that when released at high speeds, and slightly heated creates a chain reaction that rises the solution to boiling point. That can scorch the skin of another animal. Who's to say that Dragons cant breath fire with a slightly different compound, and in a larger quantity.Well thats all I have to say on the case. I have stated my argument now it is up to you to belive

Humanity Should Be Destroyed!
iGuest replied to triple6fistdestructionsoulhammer's topic in Science and Technology
Gods? Get over it - there aren't any.The planet has passed through dozens, hundreds, literally thousands of entirely different ecosystems before. After we are gone it will regenerate again. As it always has. Once life takes hold it almost can't be completely wiped out. That event will take place in approximately 5 billion years when Sol dies. At that point, no life will be possible on this planet. Until then, it will always team with life. The only question is what type of life? Sure humanity isn't the greatest, but it's also not the worst. Go get a script for Valium. Sit back and watch afternoon TV. Fill your mind with garbage. Drop out. We don't need you. Those who don't want to better themselves are a drain on planetary resources that we can't really support right now, so do us all a favor and off yourself.-SHAWN- -
Hmmm... Well, actually that's really good. I mean you're not going to find anything closer. I don't even believe that 64-bit would make much more than that addressable. Windows XP was 2gigs OS and 2gigs addressable. Windows Vista? Not even going to go there. That was MS trying to pull another huge leap, but no one wanted it this time. The computer here at our office is running 64bit and it's 3gigs with 2.75gigs addressable. Which is really nice... I had a lot of problems upgrading the 64bit version from my Windows XP 32bit. I want to be able to run Adobe Creative Suite in 64bit, because at the office it runs really nicely. So, that's my project right now. I guess gotta go buy a 64bit version of XP and then run the upgrade since I haven't activated my key or gotten online with the computer yet.

Accessing Ms Access Database From A Centralized Location?
iGuest replied to himanshurulez's topic in Programming
Dont you read the original post??Accessing Ms Access Database From A Centralized Location? This always happens, people don't read the original post (or they only read what they want!) This guy doesnt know anything about coding, programing, or even manipulating an access database, he just customized the northwind database, but he doesnt know even how to link a front end an back end on Access. Based on that, is not a good answer to tell him "..A small bit of easy coding and your application is set to go"!! Please! Access is a great tool because it alows non-programmers to develop great applications. I didn´t knew ANYTHING about programming (not even VBA) until 2008, but I have made access aplications since 1998 for companys running as much as 16 users. Sadly, there is no application that can do on web what access did in LAN. I don´t know why there is no one intelligent enough to create a really VISUAL application, I mean where a non-programmer can simply design the forms like we do on Access. MySQL, SQL Server , all that is great, but to make your forms ( I mean sophisticated forms) on web you have to program on php or visual basic or anything else, and this means: if you made a sophisticated form on Access and it took you 2 hours, now you have to program the same form (on PHP, ASP, JAVA or anything else), which will take you 6 hours!! , so may programmers, hackers, etc. And no one can solve this. To Bad. -reply by javier -

I think DIET Coke is far worse for you than, say, classic Coke in a glass bottle with cane sugar. In my experience, I have observed that a lot of diet Coke drinkers are overweight. Why?Their feeling on the subject is that they can drink lots more diet soda than regular soda because it has 1/2 the calories or zero calories or other such BS....It turns out that their bodies are way too smart to let a zero calorie drink go un-metabolized. Eventually, they adapt to the new formulation in the diet soda, and their bodies treat it as though it is a pure sugar drink--only they aren't drinking one or two. They are drinking it all day long.I know several people, personally, that have dropped 20-30+ pounds just giving up diet soda with no other change to their habits.I don't think there is anything wrong with enjoying a Coke at lunchtime (I am against high-fructose corn syrup/excess sugar in my own diet so I don't drink soda too often, but again, moderation is key), and I happen to think that a pure sugar Coke in a glass bottle is delicious...Just remember to take it in moderation (as you should take everything), and if you are worried about your teeth, wash your mouth out with some plain water after you finish your soda...
