Looking around here and other places, it seems to me that no one has an answer to the BAD_POOL_SECTOR problem.I just wonder if it could be a Hard Disck/Memory combination problem. Like a bad sector in the HD that ends up in memory.I have an image on my work laptop and now I have that problem. If they (at work) put a RAW image on my Hard Disk do not the bad sector flags get overwritten and lost? They have no clue.I mean if I run disk check and it marks bad sectors then someone comes with an image of a different computer and put it on mine, does not it then causes problems cause my bad sector flags will not match the bad sector flags of the original image, right?

hey, I'm getting a new Dell laptop tomorrow. At the moment, I am dual screening which is fair awesome. But, out of curiosity and because I do work with computer animations and CAD etc, I want to experiment with 3 monitors. When I get my laptop, I was wondering is there any possibility to connect the other two monitors to it? For example: *Spare monitor* ]laptop dock[ *Spare monitor* If I were to buy a dell laptop dock and hook the other monitors into it, I know it would work, ive seen it on one of my colleagues. But, I still have the PC tower, is there anyway I can run the OS from either the laptop or the tower, and still use the processor/ram from either. Eg. Plug all monitors into laptop dock, and use laptop HDD (OS) and still use the processor/ram/graphics from the pc tower? If it's possible, how? And if not, thanks anyway -reply by Stuart

If you liked Cave Story, then I would highly reccomend An Untitled Story. It is absolutely phenomenal in its depth. It's a side scroller very similar to Cave Story, yet less action oriented, Their are enemies and bosses but its more about exploration and difficult puzzles, and sometimes frustrating jumps.

Sitting in class sucked, getting out of class and going to hang out with friends didn't suck.If you think we didn't experience the "fast days" syndrome when we were children, just think about how fast summer vacation always seemed to pass us by. This was especially true for those of us who live in seasonal areas.Hell, even now it seems to me that winter is always ten times longer than summer and I'm 32.The fact is when you get older you really just have less to look forward too. If we all had the entire summer off, while getting paid, I think we'd find that suddenly the rest of our "work year" went a bit slower. Generally however the lives most of us lead in our adult years are mostly the same routine, day in and day out. Eat, work, sleep, rinse and repeat. We get small breaks here and there, but usually only use those to take care of other responsibilities outside of our work related ones. And if you have kids, forget about it!

I tried FontForge on an Ubuntu 8.10 (Linux) system about a year ago, sometime around the middle of 2009, and, regrettably, had to uninstall it because it was too buggy. The copy I had was obtained from the Ubuntu software repository and wasn't the "bleeding edge" version, but was supposedly compatible with the Linux kernel for the version of Ubuntu on my machine. It was one of very few Open Source programs that I've run across that would cause memory corruption so severe that the operating system would hang or go unstable. This serious deficiency made the program unusable for my purposes. I have no experience with the program on anything except Linux, so I can't say if it works any better or worse on Windows or Mac operating systems, and I haven't installed a later version of Ubuntu and FontForge since then to see if the problems have been fixed. -reply by Phil Cooper
