re:whateverHook Xbox 360 To Laptop.ok well on my gateway netbook from verizon I went to controll panel and went to network and internet connections. Then I went to network connections. On my gateway I have a built in modem thing. So all really you have to do is share the connections. Share the dial-up with the local connections with one of the LAN or HIGH-SPEED INTERNET or which ever one works. Good luck and I hope you've got it. My MTU is still acting up but if I figure out something then I shall post something.

A wireless network is also a direct backdoor into someone’s private network - literally. Instead of intruding from the public side of the gateway device, the intruder connects directly to the network on the private side of the gateway device, completely bypassing any hardware firewall between the private network and the broadband modem. Most people assume that since they are behind a gateway device with a built-in firewall their private network is safe, hence letting down their guard, sharing drives, and being generally careless. The intruder can completely take advantage of this by snooping around undisturbed and getting access to confidential data. SoC problem hampering gameplay of the modS.t.a.l.k.e.r. Mod: Oblivion LostHi, I'm playing this mod and it's really awesome, but I have a problem with SoC in general: NPC's and objects take ages to spawn, so sometimes I destroy a box and it takes around 5 minutes for something to pop out, or otherwise 'late' Bandits will spawn in front of me while I'm checkign out some decrepit building. Chromehounds.Mech GamesChromehounds was my definition of the perfect mech game. Everyone had a role. So all of the machines don't look like humans. They felt real. And the squad-based gameplay, and destructible cities? Not much more fun than having a Heavy Gunner blow away a city block and then watch the Soldier tear up whatever was behind, all based on the directions from the radar-equipped Commander. -reply by Zach

As someone else said (I don't pay attention to names) how can you compare these? In my opinion, FF is more suited for the older ages. It can have swords, guns, bows, spears, and a whole set of other types of weapon. With Zelda games, it's mainly the same thing over and over again, go through a whole lot of dungeons, get the master sword, go through some more dungeons and kill Ganondorf with the triforce of courage.With FF however, you explore different worlds with each game, come across different challenges, get stronger with every battle, and defeat a new villain for each different game! Not to mention making friends that actually help you instead of constantly rescuing one princess on your own. If you like the real-time combat genre, get Final Fantasy Dissidia.And for the person who said you think more with zelda, you have to pay attention to elements, know when you are in danger, when to heal, when to attack, and a few other things. For the same person, nintendo makes the zelda games so if it did go to a sony product (not likely) Nintendo would still be designing the games. -reply by Chaos

I feel alone... LOD is my choice. Better graphics and a unique battle system (Additions.) To me, a good game has you remember the game years after you beat it.I honestly forgot about FF7 until a few minutes ago. At the least, when I beat it a few years ago, I did not want to go back to it for a while (don't ask why because I probably won't come back to the website.) but while playing LOD, I kept wanting to keep playing it. Disc 4 stopped working so if you remember a game that you never beat, it has to mean the player was fond of the game. Simple Fix for Disappearing Volume Icon on Windows XPVolume Control Icon Disappeared.I had this pesky problem -- the volume icon disappearing -- for a year before I finally decided "ENOUGH" and set about finding out why. I guess I had a very long fuse. Like many others, I'd click on the Control Panel, choose set-up for the volume, and follow the prompts to tick the boxes to place on my taskbar. It would stay active for *that* session but would disappear on any reboot or just because it decided to mess with me. I would have to untick the box, exit, go back into the control panel, tick the box again, to "jigger" the icon to appear.I followed the advice in another forum to right click on the taskbar itself, and select "properties" and make sure that the "Hide Inactive Icons" wasn't ticked, because if it was, then the volume icon, when inactive, would no longer be visible. This seemed logical until I realized that box was already NOT ticked, so that couldn't be doing it.Instead, I ticked the box "Hide Inactive Icons" on the Taskbar Properties, and then, "Customize." When I did that, I could see the list of icons available to me on that taskbasr, including the Volume Icon. I changed the option to "Never Hide" for that icon (and any others), and then "OK" to save. Once I did that, although I had "Hide Inactive Icons" ticked, I customized the icons individually to never hide, and although that seemed at cross-purposes, it finally worked beautifully.
