  1. I think Google translate sucks too cause I am Korean (but I speak English too) and I typed this Korean sentence and it was such a mess.
  2. There is more than one way to skin a cat, right? So instead of using the usual means of propulsion for space travel,How about pulling a craft through space. Larger bodies in space have more gravity, right. Why cant we just lock on a massive object somewere in space then use a gravity amplifier to pull us along? We would go fast,be using existing gravity that large mass has, plus would be making a beeline straight to destination without any veering like a dragster when it goes too fast,But being pulled is different. Is it possible to reach speed of light this way?
  3. Can you assist me with setting up the database that will be searched???? nicole.worthem@gmail.com
  4. Odyssey Classic is very simple 2d free online RPG that was made back in the mid-late 90's. This game is very addicting and will take you back to a more simple time in gaming.Basically this is a game of leveling up(1-80 is fairly easy and quick to level up.) then you quest for some gear, join guilds and pk people.Very addicting game, one of the most addicting games I've ever played. -reply by Lordender
  5. Text displaying Twice?VB.NET: Rotating Label & Angled Text ControlI am using VS 2008 to create the custom user control and following your instructions the control works and is only suffering one unexpected issue. The text is showing not only rotated but it's also showing normally so the text is in the label twice? Any thoughts? -question by Christopher
  6. I was just using $host = $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST']; for testing. root still has access to localhost in MySQL (according to PhpMyAdmin). Unfortunately I have no idea what the updates where. And I'm really not even sure if they had anything to do with it. Just the only possible thing I can think of that would have changed. At this point I've given up on it. Still curious as to what's going on those. Seems like a pretty odd thing to be happening.
  7. I served with the U.S. Navy in Japan frm 1985 to 1997 and visited both Hiroshima and Nagasaki.I would implore those who view the atomic bombings as wrong to view Hiroshima as not a victim but a warning. It's not well known in the west just how opposed Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto was to a war with the United States. At one point in his career he had to be kept at sea to prevent his assassination by Imperial Army zelots who viewed the Western thinking naval officer as a traitor.Yamamoto made it clear to the Japanese high command that an attack on Pearl Harbor, while successful, would be an act of national insanity. He realized the eventuality of Japan's defeat and hoped until the final hour that war would be averted. It's sad Yamamoto died, he was the only Japanese with a mental capacity. The Japanese people allowed their government to drag them into a hellish war in China, a war that was costing the Japanese people dearly in lives lost. Then to further their madness, the warloads decided to attack the most powerful western nation on earth.Madness...utter madness. That's why we have the atomic dome in Hiroshima, not because of a so called U.S. war crime but because of a group of Japanese maniacs.I grew in my service there a deep enduring love for the people of Japan, for their martial history, for the principles of true Bushido...a way of life twisted and distorted for the use of the maniacs who led Japan to its ruin.Hiroshima is a warning against maniac leaders, like the current scumbags of Iran who are following the same road to national hell and dragging the Iranian people with them. It is Hiroshima all over again! The only criminals who deserve hatred and the absolute disgust of humanity are the scumbags now enshrined at Yaskuni Japan, the very maniacs who caused Hiroshima in the first place. That is the legacy Hiroshima leaves behind.SignedDaniel Rush USN RetiredDannavy85@yahoo.com
  8. You genius. This really works, not like other having many restrictions. Thanks!
  9. Windows 98SE, the last Windows that is actually Useful and Pleasnt to use...The Best Version Of WindowsReplying to BitShiftMan, I am so happy to read this and other replies! I've been despairing like an old dinosaur as lost in a desert.Until Windows XP appeared (and possibly win2k, I never really tried it), Windows was about PERSONAL computing. Personal as in, "This computer is YOURS, it WILL do what YOU ask it to do", not the permission and authorization garbage we have to deal with on a daily basis nowadays, where the user is treated as some sort of demure client, instead of the rightful OWNER of his own system (and don't get me started on copyright issues, MS and all the other majors basically STOLE everything they so vehemently fight users as their own).I have used XP, Vista, have seen Windows 7 and every one of these "new" operating systems has been a step backwards from the basic premises of the computer revolution. And, sorry HP, but the computer is far from "Personal" anymore and, the way it is going, is never going to be ever again! It is very much like life in communist society. I am fortunate enough to live in a very small community, far from everything. I know all my neighbors and their quirks and we never lock our doors. Yes, in 2010! Well, Windows 98 is like that. No one is there telling you you need permission to do this and that like everything post 98 forces you to (Ironic that the DMCA was enacted in '98, don't you think?). And to those who think Windows 98 is insecure, I just say they just haven't looked past what MS is offering. And as far as stability is concerned, I still have a Windows 98SE machine and since I loaded 98 back in '98, it hasn't needed a reformat, just regular reboots. Big deal! It restarts in 30 seconds tops, not the 4 minutes my Vista machine takes to do all its sneaky things behind my back! Now, more than ever, is the time to say out loud to the corporate world and government institutions, that enough is enough, that PC stands for Personal Computing, and that we simply will refuse anything that curtails our basic rights! And for those who actually like Vista and 7, no amount of candy coating can hide the bitter results. MS and the majors, just like the witch in Sleeping Beauty, have succeeded to their ends of taking control of your lives. The Matrix has you.I applaud all the young rebels out there who keep the fight alive, pumping out XP micro and other similar "underground" versions against the threat of lawsuits (now criminal!). It's high time we gave the finger to MS, Apple, Adobe and the other majors for their arrogance.I don't want a computer I have to constantly fight against, I want a computer that will actually do what I tell it to do, and Windows 98SE is the last MS operating system to work with the user instead of against. If drivers were available for the hardware in my core 2 duo laptop, I can guarantee you I would be running it instead of the lame piece of bull crap OS it's running now.For those who would like to understand this issue a bit more, go watch TRON, Hackers, Pirates or Silicon Valley and The Matrix. Enough said. -reply by Chris

  11. Private servers are free and have perks to them as well. Some have 20% better exp and drops, while others have all level pvp and choice of where your created character starts out at. They are exactly like the actually game to an extent, but they do have their up and downs.
  12. Attachment problemsUsing The Php Mail() Function For Images Or AttachmentsI used this above successfully on my Mac (Snow Leopard) as part of a web site that emails a standard html letter plus attachments. However I cannot get the same script to work on the Mac where the web server fot the local intranet resides. The email comes over but it shows the code rather than the formatted html and attachments. Any ideas where the failing may be? I am sure that there must be a config setting in postfix or php that is slightly different otherwise it should work. I have tested on my machine and then copied across the files. I have tried simple scripts with attachments hard coded in the script as tests but these also fails Postfix is set up on both machines to relay to the exchange server and output from the source of the successful email and the failed one are exactly the same except for the obvious hostnames and one line break after the X-PHP-Originating-Script. Any help would be much appreciated. -reply by Carl

  14. crop tool messed up fixPhotoshop Cropping ProblemThanks a lot! This solved a problem I had in CS4: when cropping the image simply disappeared and only the gray background was showing. Selecting something else in the tool options worked and crop is functioning normally again.
  15. How To Hack?Internet Connection HackHacking is easy you just have to feel it in your heart, It is possible. If you have wifi on your laptop, run the search function. It will show you which networks are available in your location. They may be coded however. But you will be surprised how many free services there are, and how many people do not realize they have not secured their network. If you find a connection with a small box in the right corner, it means it's an ad-hoc network. You may try to connect but not be able to, but if you can't, just run the network set up wizard, wait until it finds it then add it !Otherwise, if you can only get secured networks then you need to get more sophisticated. Try googling airsnort for windows for more info. The wireless net work would need to be broadcasting its SSID (Network Name) and be unsecured I.E have no password to log on to it.Or it could have WEP encryption which is easy to crack or no encryption and no Network card Mac Address filtering as each network card has a unique Mac Address. The only secure way is to employ Mac Address filtering, don't broadcast the SSID and use WPA, and Limit the number of Connections and even use Static IP (when you tie and unique ip number to each network card.)Yes, you can connect to anyone's WiFi as long as there is no password on it. You will ALSO need a WiFi card in your computer, if you don't have this you wont receive the signal, if there is a password on the WiFi there are certain programs you can download that get around the password for you, if you have drivers in your wifi card. To connect to a wifi connectionOn mac, next to the battery icon there is the "airport" icon, click on the icon and it should list all available wifi connections. On windows, open up internet connection, click on wireless connection then click search or scan.Routers send out signals and they can not be controlled where they go. They go out in a circle all around for around 100 feet. If someone was to go in a car by the house and open up their wireless network you will see something like LINUX, 2WIRE***, MY HOUSE, and stuff like that. You will pick up from the signal that the routers are sending out. Most networks are password protected but can easily be broken into by typing in a simple password. 19. I can't find this game I've been looking for... All I remember is it had like 2-3 discs, it was for PS3, the main character had a blue rat-looking thing always around him (on his shoulder or following him) as his pet. And it was very similar to the Final Fantasy series and their game-play. If you find out please let me know >.< I'm dying to play it again =D yes it was that good
  20. this is supid, sure there is evidence but that doesnt mean that jesus or God exist. Evil demons possesing people, failed God(book) may have pictures but we have evidence that jesus acctually walked. They have the wrap thing they wraped Jesus in when he was dead, coming back from the dead maybe bizzar but God and Jesus has the power beyond man's imagination. Pictures and painting cant explain what happened in the past nor can words from a book(the bible as well, I don't know how man started but its beyond us) u may believe what u want.
  21. First off it is already international competition there is already a set judgeing criteria in place for guards from multiple countries. It is jst as much as sport as rythmics gymnastics or figure skating. I think the reason its not an Olympic sport was like you said its not popular enough there are only a hand full of countries that participate.
  22. well u can use long int for number greater than 2^8
