This is just what I was taught What Is The Fourth Dimension? I'm sure a lot of what was said is already right, but one thing that I found is that time is the fourth dimension according to Einstein and physicists, but I think what the original question was about is the fourth-SPATIAL-dimension. A while back I was in Algebra II (I think) and I was bored with class so I asked my teacher about the fourth dimension. It seemed like he understood what it was pretty well, but I don't really know for sure. Most of what he said was about the spatial fourth-dimension cube, or tesseract. He started off by saying that there isn't a physical shape to the tesseract, but if you could see it at the most basic level, it would look like a cube (thus the hypercube name). The thing that makes this cube hyper is that every side of the cube touches the exact opposite side. So for example, if the room you are in right now were to be a hypercube, you would fall through the floor, only to come right through the ceiling. This is also how big-bang theorists view the fourth spatial dimension. Normally people think the big-bang was a very dense point that exploded outward, like a balloon that is inflated. However, the more consistent theory is that the fourth dimension is expanding, which gives more 3D space for the universe. This is like if you had a pool that had 100 fish (planets/galaxies) and very little water (3D space). Let's say there was 100 gallons of water, so for every gallon of water there would be one fish, and all these fish would be very close together. Then there was the "Big-Fill-up" which poured 1,000,000 more gallons of water into the pool. At this time, the fish (planets) would have much more water (space) for themselves. dvd/cdrom not showing up om my computer System Does Not Detect Dvd/cdrom Drive My dvd burner/cdrom doe's not show up om my gateway#702ge xp home edition .I replaced my old dvd burner with a samsung sh-s202n-do.And that doe's not work I checked ide ribbons everything is hooked up right.Now I took the new dvd burner and put back in my old samsung ts-h552 that came with the gateway.If I unpluged the the new dvd burner ide ribbon then the dvd burner lights come on and the door opens up with no problem and still nothing works when you hook up the ribbon -I checked the lower filters and deleted as one person said to do .Up dates from windows all been done but when you go into my computer it says on the E removeable DISK.I don't know what to do if someone has any answers for me please let me know .Thank you -reply by mark

Having the same issue with IE/Firefox Internet Does Not Connect I'm having almost the exact same problem. I updated Firefox and it stopped working, not able to connect to any websites. I was using IE for a week or so and just now it stopped working also, that is how I ended up at this forum. I read another post that mentioned something about ISPs not having compatible DNS servers, which sort of makes sense, because sometimes instead of getting the 'unable to connect' error, I get an 'invalid name' error, and the address bar resolves to 'ctrl:///'. Very interesting indeed. I can still connect to AIM on the PC, and my laptop is not having any problems with websites (that is on the wireless, the PC that is giving me the problem is hard-wired.) Replying to Feelay Ok open terminal type "sudo apt-get install wine" you will be asked for your password assuming you are root, that will be no prob. I plan on going to my local cable company. Would like to help anyway possible to stop dish from being in business- for one month I got 2-$5 discounts, promised these on each reciever, but don't you know, bill has been raised and I only get one $5 credit- does anyone know this answer? I paid $250 up front-according to them for my equipment. So isn't it my equipment? so they can't charge me for it or ask for it back- I know they told me I was buying the equipment up front since my credit was bad, so why they charge me $5 for reciever fees and then give it back is stupid anyway.
