The thing that makes me the most mad, is that I can be browsing an entire web site and then I will get the infamous error message "Page cannot be found." I went, out of curiosity to my other web browser Firefox and it worked! Which made me really mad. So now I am using IE because Im a crazy wierdo, though If I could, I would stop using IE, due to all the exploits and spyware oppritunities.

My first computer was an old macintosh with an external hard drive. All I had on it was Jepordy which was my favorite videogame at the time *coughs* being 5 yrs old. I loved my Job (McDonalds ) and I tried hard. I got up at 4:30 in the morning, and got off a five for 7/hr CDN, I soon got promoted, made friends, fell in love, it was a home away from home. When I say that I truly mean it. My mother and father managed it and then my father went off his medication. That is when It all started going down. On the 2cnd, I took a shift for the person I love and didn't get "Manager Verification" for it. It supposedly was on grill, which I don't know. So this was going to get me a Matt in a two week suspension. So, I escaped and covered the shift, giving Matt a no reason to get suspeneded and, then my father is like, " Yours an ahole, why the -censored- would you do that?" So then I got no food, and no electricity, only water and the money I had earned for McDonalds. Then father is like You don't deserver to work there. Then I said why, and he's like your my son and you didnt get Mgr Veri and Im like, so Instead of putting me on a suspension your firing me. I got fired yesterday (jan 4th)

Whenever I unzip a folder from terminal using tar -zxvf, it wont show the folder onto the Desktop. Ive tried almost everything from rebooting the computer to trying to unhide the folder, will someone help me?

Ello Again. I have bought my new D-Link Antenna for my Hawking Router, and the only thing it did was make everything worse, for the first two hours I oculd be anywhere in my house and use WIFI, and now I am on wired internet. I have no idea how to get out with a group. 99& of the people he knows are people I don't know and then going out with other people would make me feel a little awkward. This guy is everywhere, I am we pass in school, Hes in my dreams, I worry about him alot. This guy is the guy that I want to be with for the rest of my life. I have two computers. One is a server and one is for my personal use. The server one performs well, and assists me in hosting IRC Servers without having to leave my laptop on for 24/7 thought, the computer fan is starting to drive me a little nuts and over the edge. The laptop I use for "personal" use and school work. ANything Else I am able to do on my own.

Desktop PC's are the way to go if your looking for a system at home. They don't break eaisly. They have better performance and space issues. You can install 2 250s in a desktop and get 1/2 terabyte. Now if you were using a laptop the idea would be compact, small, affordable, and light. Anything else would become a desktop. Though hard drives dont get that big with notebooks. All in all, I believe that DESKTOP COMPUTERS win.

I don't know about this new version of Windows. Im placing money that for the first six months, security will be pretty slack. Then Microsoft will roll out the updates and "fix" everything. I was hearing about Vista sending information to other PC's using Vista. That kinda scares me, if you didnt know that that happened before, what is to stop a hacker using a keylogger to track the keys. They can just pretend its an increse in Packet Number. Though GUI looks very nice. I think that it is the Ellegence of Linux without the power!

Jeez, I hate those people so much. I mean they can almost break you down so bad that you need a counsolor to recollect yourself together. Then every word they say to you is a put down about how your poor, or how they are in everyway better than you.

This is amazing, I mean this will be the new in thing. Im guessing by 2020, those will be used as organisers, and one page newspapers. There is nothing more eco-friendly then having only one newspaper delivered to your house every five years, and Im sure that, if we recycle them, we can just replace the compinents inside them with new components andreutilize them. The human race is everr broading is knowledge of technology. People in 2020 will look back upon us and go, how did they ever live without ts "Thin Screens" and we will have tales about lifting 52' televisions that took forever to put inside the house This technology is amazing.

The best features I want added to gmail is themes and turning the spam filter so that Its all deleted when I get itGoogle is just to bland for someone to have thier email customized to thier needs. Like a theme thats black, and you can move stuff, or removed stuff. I like my email to be really simple, and i like it black. Speaking if spam, I don't need it, I could just customize a spam filter and get the email resent. Its just a nusience for me.

My Wifi, is so bad its insane. I got the 54G from Hawking and I can barely use it around the house, and when I asked for a replacement they said that they can because of a 30-Day Guarantee and then I asked for a refund and they said I would have to goto Future Shop to get my refund. Then I tried to get a refund, but I was out of the refund range, and all I could do was exchange. So I did, and I have the exact same quality of wifi. So I had to put the connect inside my room, so I can use it, but as soon as I get out of my room, no wifi. Isnt that a little insane?

Civilization Four had major techinical problems with my laptop. This thing is even 4 months old and its top of the line. I mean really, the only thing it couldn't handle the shadowing and lighting scheme. Then My laptop repeatedly crashed when I tried to play it, and I had to reinstall it. It looks wonderful, If only I could experience the gameplay. If anyone knows how to disable the game graphics (shadowing\lighting) and I could play it almost like Civ 3 that would be awsome. As I start to write this topic, I watch as slowly but surely my gmail account size increases from megabyte to megabyte. Now Gmail is offering 2 gigabytes of storage, most likely to beat thier other free competetor Walla, which still only offers one. This new storage space has enough room for each user to have 400,000 average size messages before thier space runs out. Why delete something, when at gmail you can become a pack-rat of emails But I really think that Gmail has it in for Shutmail. For all its worth, if Gmail becomes 3 G's of space shutmail just may have to close its doors for lack of users and stability, but now that gmail has come out such popular email providers have started to try and get thier hands on making more people join due to most people switching from hotmail or yahoo to gmail. The invite system that gmail has going also makes it so that most people want to join GMail as its so "exclusive" who knows maybe (Warning: Conspiracy Theory) Gmail will run the other email providers out of the big WWW. Well just remember if you want in on the action just goto the gmail thread and then request from some of the people.

I went to a Networking Confrence, and I heard about IPv6, and how its going to "change" the world". The speaker said the the new adderess will never be able to be changed "con".But hey if we are losing the amount of people we can have connected to the world I am all for it. Well that's all I have to say about IPv6.

It might be real, I mean we may never know. I was alone in my office, that?s only because I work alone. My name is Rex Slade, and I'm a private eye. The only light that is inside the room is the embers of my cigar rising in luminescence as I inhale the pure toxin. I work many cases, some I work with partners, but always when I work with somebody else, I always lose a person that got close to me. That?s when I decided that Rex gets close to no one, because in the end it just hurts to see them gone. I had a great girl, one of a kind. We were engaged and that?s when Tony Labrado came barging through the door, and shot her. The blond leaves about ten minutes after the brunette as so they won?t raise much suspicion, but it?s a little late if Tony?s sending his hired help to track me down. That wasn?t a reassuring thought, but if I?m right, Tony thinks I am close to something big. So I set out to go sleuthing. I don?t really have a hidden persona now that everyone knows me, fame is great but it sometimes leaves dire consequences. I went into an abandoned warehouse. I had an instinct that Tony was here and that he was waiting for me. My gut feeling comes from knowledge; this was where I met Tony the last time. The time when he brutally executed my bride to be, I had chills when I entered the building, but Rex never backs down on a case. Some people think that I?m asking for a death wish, but it helps me. If I don?t back down, I find the answer to what I am looking for and that?s where it all went wrong. I awoke groggily; I could tell that I had been drugged. With what I was unaware but I was sure that I was still in the warehouse. I forced my eyes open, but they could only stay open for a few seconds, and what I saw made me regret that decision. Tony had the blond on the floor, there was a puddle of red, and I don?t think it was the wine he was drinking. One of my clients was dead. Like most villains Tony started into this great monologue, and then I decided this was the time to drift back out of conscious. I awoke several hours later, only an approximate. I knew this only because there was light streaming in through the windows. I had gotten to the warehouse around ten, last night. Tony was startled by the appearance of me waking up. He told me that he had thought I was dead. Not like he bothered to check my breathing or anything. I had to think. I took me a few minutes, but I had finally come up with a plan of action. I waited until his coffee had come. I recognized the lady as the brunette that had came to my office earlier, and she gave me the perfect opportunity. Tony was lured into a false sense of security that I wouldn?t recover from the drugs to soon, so it was only him, the brunette, and me. The brunette had ?accidentally? spilt the coffee onto Tony?s lap, causing him to stand up. I stood up, crouched but up, almost faster than he did. I ran towards him, and he was laughing. That?s because he thought I was going to attack him with my body. At the last minute, I turned. I struck him the bottom of the chair and gave him a heavy wound. I escaped, whatever his fate was, I don?t want anything more to do with it than I have already. It was all in a days work, and I went back into the office. The light was shining and I decided to have a cigar. I inhaled the pure toxin, and watched the end of it light up as I inhaled. Once again I was alone in my office, waiting for another client.

Well just be careful before buying the new one. O've had mine for about 3 years and the performance is just lagging I would Try Three diffrent things. The First, Make sure the power switch is on on the back, I know it sounds like a newb question, because everyone knows the switch but still. Seconds I would get a new cord. If you have a stero, most likely it has the end you need to plug it into the ps2. And last, but not least try out the system in a diffrent enviroment, it just might be something with your ps2 setup that is bad. So try before you buy because, chances are it's fixable.
