Keyboard Cars dont throw that old keyboard out
DeM0nFiRe replied to serverph's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, these look cool but I bet you the space bar sticks if you don't hit it hard enough >.>Heh, these cars do look pretty nice, although I don't like the look of the old whitish yellow keyboards XD -
Well, I've never worked with MCCode; I assume it is some sort of cource code for making a Multiple Choice RPG?If you are willing to pay enough, though, I can help you make a Text Based MMO from scratch that you'd even be allowed to run on a shared hosting account like what you get with Xisto. If you are interested still, PM me.

I will show you in practice why they might not put a Python forum: If You guys get a Python forum, I want Ruby forum (I think ruby would make more sense. Ruby is quickly taking over the world, you know )

It is completely unfair to call your friend egotistical for not following your beliefs. By the same logic, you are egotistical for not following his beliefs. On how to change his mind, you don't. It is not up to you to decide what he should believe. If there is a reason for him to change his beliefs chances are it will be a reason he finds for himself not just because you tell him he is wrong.

I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Computer Gaming
So I've been playing some more with my new settings, and it still is not working great. Better than before but it still cuts out every now and then. I every once and while go up to like 80+ choke but then if I turn away from the players it falls back down again. I've tried all the settings I could within the servers' limits but I can't always get luck. It is so strange because I have a Cable line so I should be able to set my cl_cmdrate at like 50 and cl_updaterate at like 45. -
Where Can I Buy Any Cs Games, And How Much Are They?
DeM0nFiRe replied to 332083's topic in Computer Gaming
You can also purchase a lot of the games on steam at any store that sells computer games. I got the Counter Strike: Source box at a store, it contained Counter Strike: Source (If it hadn't I would have been really pissed ), Day of Defeat: Source, Half-life 2: Deathmatch and Half-Life 2: Lost Coast. The box only costed $20 so it was a good buy. -
I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Computer Gaming
Yeah, when I get the time to I will probably install and play it. Like you said, though, there's bound to be less servers so it'll be hard to find one near where you are. -

I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Computer Gaming
Yeah, I had an autoexec.cfg to turn the graphics down way down when I was using an NVidia GeForce 2MX. Now I use an ATI Radeon 9200 so I'm in better shape for the graphics. -

Good news, guys I got it working. I increased my rate, decreased cl_updaterate and I did something with my cl_cmdrate but it was late so I forget what 0_0. Either way, it works now. depending on the server I sometimes need to fiddle with it a little but I'm in good shape now. Thanks for the help, guys! -
I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Computer Gaming
Ok, so it looks like my problem is with choke. I am still messing around with settings to try to get it right. The exact error message I am getting is "Received fragment out of order: #/###"Just did a speedtest.net speed test. My Download speed is about 5Mbit and my Upload is about 500Kbit. My ping is 68 for 100 miles away and 224 for 3500 miles away -
Well, mathematically speaking the probability is pretty high that there will be another planet with life on it. If the universe is infinite (Ok, that's only a theory but we'll go with it for now) and one planet, Earth, so far has life on it then th chances of finding a planet with life on it is one in infinity. Well, no matter how many planets we look at, we will have infinity planets to look through, and while probability doesn't guarantee that it will happen, it still is an indicator that chances are, there is intelligent life on other planets. There was also another solution to this problem that uses discreet math that says that it is a guarantee that there is intelligent life on another planet, but since I can't remember it, I won't go there yet

I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s

Ooh, that looks like some good stuff there! As a matter of fact, I do remember changing my rate ony my old connection, so I imagine I'll have to mess around with it on my newer connection. Actually, I probably shold have mentioned it before, but in the console it tells me it is getting fragments out of order, which would tell me there was something wrong with the rate that data was being sent. I just didn't know where to change that. I am at school at the moment, But I will definitely check that stuff out when I get the chance and let you guys know how it turns out -

I'm Having A Strange Problem With My Ping In Cs:s
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Computer Gaming
My OS Is WinXPI have a Wired Conection, I believe a 1Mb connectionIn the other games I get between 30 and 150 ping depending on where the server is.I think that my problem is with the Source engine itself. I only have this problem on Source engine games. -
Hey guys. I bought Counter Strike Source, and I was playing it for a while but it was very slow because of my bad graphics card. I ended up moving and getting a new graphics card at about the same time, so graphically the game runs great now. However, I can't play online now because, for some reason, every server thnks my ping is too high and kicks me off. It doesn't matter what location the server is in, it always thinks my ping is too high. The starnge part is, my highest ping is around maybe 150, and I have cable internet, I believe it is a 1M connection, maybe 3. I have this same problem with every game I play that is built on the source engine and played through steam (Counter Strike: Source, Half Life Deathmatch: Source, and Day of Defeat: Source) Every other game I play the connection is fine even if the sergver is on the other side of the world from me. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem?

Also, alot of games will have some sort of external autoconfig file allowed for the game. It's a bit different for every game, so you'll have to do some googling to find out how to do it for each game. You should be able to find what commands to put in the file to turn down the graphics quality but make the game playable.
-
You have some mapping errors you may want to look at fixing. Like in the first map screenshot you show there, part of the chimney is missing. Also, the graphics you are using foryour tiles are a little bit less than legal ^^ The license of RMXP says you have to use the graphics only in RMXP.

Ha ha, that is epic dude. What are you using to do it, something like ImageMagick? That is really funny XD

Will There Be Any Sort Of Credit Return?
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Web Hosting Support
I think I have to agree with Buff in that we should wait until all of the problmes are fixed before we continue to alk about compensation, however I do hope that there will be some sort of compensation. -
Will There Be Any Sort Of Credit Return?
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Web Hosting Support
Well, to be perfectly honest I always have alot to do, so I can't always post here every single day, so I'd like the credits I do have time to earn to actually go towards what I am posting for. -
Will There Be Any Sort Of Credit Return?
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Web Hosting Support
Heh, what did I start? I'm certainly not trying to point fingers (I do not believe I have mentioned any names). Obviously no one is at fault with what has happened. Well, yeah. As I said there is no legal obligation for any sort of return. It is just, logically, fair for there to be one. Even if we don't get a return you must at least see that it is logical that we get one. As I said, I'm not going to cry if I don't get one. It just makes sense that we get one. I mean, it's not like 5 days worth of hosting (which we have earned by posting) is going to leave Xisto a ghost town but those 5 credits could really help out some of the members here. there doesn't seem to be any substantial reason for us to not get one other than it's in the terms of service. -
Will There Be Any Sort Of Credit Return?
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Web Hosting Support
Well, the way I see it, the hosting is not free, because we do some sort of work for it. Since we did the work, but did not get the website I would think it would make sense if we got that work back. I mean, it isn't possible for us to have a website without giving the work, and it doesn't seem fair that the fact that we can work without a website is being taken advantage of. When it comes down to it, it is supposed to be a level exchange and things like this make it slanted a little bit away from us. It's not a huge deal, and I don't care much about the credits themselves. I just think it would be a testament of faith in internet dealings if things were leveled out a bit. -
Will There Be Any Sort Of Credit Return?
DeM0nFiRe replied to DeM0nFiRe's topic in Web Hosting Support
I suppose, but I just assume that the we post to have a website hosted, and since for that period we, for all intents and purposes, had no websites. I'm obviously not going to cry if I don't get anything, I just think it would be nice.
