How To Make A Sig Rotator for people with multiple sigs
snlildude87 replied to snlildude87's topic in General Discussion
It's probably uour host. Make sure that it can support PHP. If not, you might need to change hosts. Also, make sure the URL to list.txt is correct. I got 404ed when going to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/. Thank you, but next time, try to post more. Just do a search on Google. Xisto also has its own resources forum. Check it out: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ -
You posted this in the wrong forum. I'll move it to the right one after I finish typing.Second, your site displayes the Xisto default page when I go to it. Try replacing the index.html file inside the www folder or the public_html folder first. Also, you were talking in first person plural about making adjustments. Who's the other person? One last thing, what's your site about and how do you plan to make it popular?

Question On Free Web Hosting about advertisement
snlildude87 replied to kakingho's topic in Web Hosting Support
Do you think I would choose and stay with this hosting for as long as I have if there were advertisements on my site? No.One of the main reasons why this service is free is that OpaQue places ads on the forums so that members will click it, and he will get money to buy more features for Xisto web hosting. -
Yeah, make the text more prominent, and blend the dragon in a little, and you will have yourself a good sig.

Yes. Vote for Xisto in those sites that list free web hosts. If you do that, then more people will find Xisto -> there will be more ad-clicking -> more revenue for Xisto -> more money to buy resources -> more people will come -> (restart cycle).

What is mesothelioma? Mesothelioma is a malignant cancer. There are two types. One is pleural mesothelioma where cancer cells are found in the lung's pleural sac (picture: ). Symptoms of pleural mesothelioma include shortness of breath and chest pains (because it occurs in the chest). The other type is peritoneal mesothelioma where cancer cells are found in the peritoneum lining of the abdominal cavity (picture: ). Symptoms of peritoneal mesothelioma include abdominal pains and weight loss. How do you get mesothelioma? You might have mesothelioma is you have worked in a job where you breathe asbestos. Prolonged exposure were found in almost all the mesothelioma cases. Will you starting experiencing symptoms if you breathe a lot of asbestos? No. Symptoms may take as long as 30 to 50 years to appear. Once you get it, treatment depends on a lot of things including stage of mesothelioma (how long has it been since you got it), location of the cancer cells, and age. So why are mesothelioma ads so popular? Mesothelioma ads are popular because the people who worked with asbestos think they have it, so they contact their lawyer of attorney to sue their workplace. The lawyers end up making thousands of dollars from such cases. By promoting mesothelioma awareness all over the web (putting out ads), the lawyer can get more clients, so they can make even more money. The higher the ad price, the more mesothelioma patients they get.

Homestarrunner.com flash cartoon site
snlildude87 replied to LessThanThree's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I love this site! I mean, I don't go to it now, but I used to (I might come back today). The part I love best is the emails section because I love finding the easter eggs, but the emails are pretty funny overall. My favorite email? The one about the virus. -
There is none. You can upload a file any size as long as its under your disk quota (20 MB on package 1 and 150 MB on package 2). So basically, you cannot upload anything bigger than 20 MB for package 1 or 150 MB for package 2.Hope that answered your question.

Never ever put scanlines on top of the entire sig. It can go over the background, but putting it over the sig just kills it instantly. Your background doesn't look that great. Try getting some brushes from deviantart.com.

He wants examples from real life that involves Geometry.Basically, what I'd do for this is look around. Look at how objects are formed and use those as your examples. Look at strange buildings. Stuff like that.

Alternative To File()? file stored in arrays
snlildude87 replied to snlildude87's topic in Programming
Because the server where I'm at right now doesn't allow that. Anyway, I found an alternative: $filestring = file_get_contents($filename); $filearray = explode("\n", $filestring); Thanks anyway. I'm closing this thread now since my question is solved. -
You did post in the wrong forum, but that's not a problem. There is an Introduction forum here. (I've moved this to the correct forum)Anyway, welcome to Xisto, Jason. You'll have a lot of options to ramble about since this community is huge: 5000+ users, and thousands of topics and replies. Have fun!

Alternative To File()? file stored in arrays
snlildude87 replied to snlildude87's topic in Programming
I know that using file(), it returns an array, but what do those three functions return? How do I use them so that they can act like the file() function? -
Hey guys. I was wondering if there is an alternative to using file(). I'm trying to read a file and store it into an array without using the file function. Before, I was doing something like this: <?php $file = file("http://yahoo.com");?> Simple. It gets the contents of index.html at yahoo.com and store each line in an array. Well, I was wondering if there is another code that could do that without using the file function. Thanks for helping!
